	Coronation Cheerio Card Advert A42 Original, quality, card advert issued in 1937 to advertise a bottled drink manufactured to commemorate the coronation of King George VI. A bright, clean card with the original red hanging loop to the top and detailing: 'Cheerio a Kingly Drink a Non-Alcoholic Champagne' and with the monogram for the King GR VI. Pratts Petrol Coaster A41 Original, quality, 1920's, circular, copper, bottle coaster embossed to the centre with Pratts Perfection Spirit Petrol Can and stamped to the outside 'Made in England', 'Solid Copper' and 'J.S & S', for the manufacturer Joseph Sankey and Sons of Bilston near Birmingham. 	Cotton Cycle Display Cabinet A40 Original, quality, late 19th Century, glazed front wall cabinet by Horrockses Miller and Co, Preston, containing a cotton display with 13 items, all various stages of processing from raw to finished. Signwritten to the top front of the cabinet for the cotton processer and with an original labelled packet to the centre. The cabinet has been repainted, but not the name details and all is complete and in superb order. A very clean, bright advertising item. 23" x 19" x 3.75". Click on photo for larger and other views. Macfarlane Lang Biscuits Booklet A40 Original, early 1930's printed brochure with forty-two pages of pictures and five pages of text, detailing the history of Macfarlane Lang and Co Ltd and mainly the move to the new factory and offices, built at Osterley Park, Middlesex. Great views of the factory in production and staff facilities and offices, etc. A super history document in super condition and complete. 10.25" x 7". Click on photo for larger and other views. 	Watsons' Toffee Ceramic Tankard A38 Original, quality 1920's, blue and white, ceramic tankard, manufactured by Maling for the Watsons' Toffee Works, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. The body and side handle are covered in a blue and white, straw like design with two cameo pictures: one of 'The 1929 Exhibition Building, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne' and the other of 'The New Tyne High Level Four Swing Bridges, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne'. The underside is detailed for 'Maling with the Castle Keep Logo', 'Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England' and 'Made for Watsons' Toffee Works Ltd, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne'. Atlas Lamps Change Slope A34* Original, quality, 1950's/60's, moulded glass counter top, shop change slope, advertising "Atlas" lamp bulbs. The details are "Get lamps you can rely on- get Atlas lamps they're 8-way tested". A little damage to the paint on the underside but not affecting the main pictorial panel and one edge chip to the bottom back, otherwise complete and in good order. 	The Reason Manufacturing Co Brass Figure A32* Original, quality, 1920's, brass figure advertising "The Reason Manufacturing Co Ltd of Lewis Road, Brighton". The female figure dressed in a toga style of outfit is holding what could be an early 'Ediswan' type pointed electric light bulb and stands on a circular plinth, before a large circular disc, perhaps simulating to a large gong? This gong is detailed to the front for "The Reason Manufacturing Co Ltd of Lewis Road, Brighton " and to the reverse "Electrolytic Meters, Prepayment Meters and Midget Meters, Arc Lamps, Fireboxes, Demand Indicators, Time Switches and Street Lighting Fittings." The circular plinth is also detailed "Inventions exploited and perfected". An unusual item, the first we have seen and all in the old bronzed finish. Complete and in good order. 	GKN Screw Display A30 Original, quality trade display board of hooks, bolts, screws etc for the manufacturer 'Guest Keen & Nettlefolds Ltd', circa 1900. The full name and trade mark are impressed into the face of the oak frame. This glazed cabinet contains hundreds of items, laid out in an artistic fashion, the items were a representation of goods manufactured by GKN. Eight items were missing and we have now fitted these as best we can, the green interior backboard is rather scruffy, a replacement external rear backing board has been renewed and now all is complete and in good order. 33.5" high, 28.5" wide and 2.25" front to back. Capstan Cigarettes Advertising Mirror A33* Original, quality, 1920's/30's, cigarette advertising mirror in the original oak frame and original card backing board. The mirror details "Wills's Capstan Navy Cut Cigarettes", the backboard details "British Made" and "This Mirror is fitted up for inside use only (ITC 6448)". 	Westward Ho Tobacco Mirror A22* Original, quality, pre war, tobacconists' shop advertising mirror of a super small size in the original oak frame. This example details 'Westward Ho Smoking Mixtures', also in small text to the lower edge of the mirror, 'Issued by the Imperial Tobacco Co (of Great Britain & Ireland) Ltd'. The mirror has some blemishes but is bright in colour. The original frame has been cleaned and the ply backing board has been replaced with similar. All is now complete and in good order. 26.25" x 9.25" x 1". Two other matching advertising mirrors for different brands may be available, ref codes A20 & A21. 	Duncan Gilmour & Co Etched Glass Panel A16 Original, quality, late 19th century, acid etched glass panel with rounded top corners, probably from a shop door. The belt and buckle motif incorporating 'Duncan Gilmour & Co' is surrounded by Art Nouveau designs. St Julien Tobacco Enamel Sign S97 Original, quality, 1920's enamel advertising sign, detailing 'St Julien Tobacco Empire Blend', in yellow on red and blue letters on a dark blue background and to the centre a pictorial of the tobacco packet. Although there is damage to the enamel around the screw holes, the packet is perfect and the sign, generally, is in super condition and very bright and shiney. 36" x 24". 	Barnes and Co Estate Agents Enamel Sign S93 Original, quality, pre-war, double sided enamel advertising sign, detailing 'For Sale apply Barnes and Co Estate Agents Newbury, Tel 1218'. This example has a flange for wall mounting 'bus stop' style. One side is bright and clean with just one blemish, the other, although still bright and readable, has some staining and spot damage. 14" x 12" and 1.5" flange. Perth Dye Works Enamel Sign S92 Original, quality, late 19th Century, double sided enamel advertising sign, detailing 'Agent for the Perth Dye Works' to one side and 'Agent for P and P Cambell Dyers Perth' to the other, with the date code for 1892. This sign would have been mounted 'bus stop' style, on a wrought iron bracket. A bright clean sign, but with damage around the top mounting hole on both sides and overall to one side only. 	Watson's Matchless Cleanser Enamel Sign S91 Original, quality, late 19th Century, double sided enamel advertising sign, originally from within a chair back of an all wooden chair, intended to be used in the grocer's or ironmonger's shop for customers use. A bright and glossy, blue and white enamel ad, detailing 'Watson's Matchless Cleanser is the Best Soap for All Purposes'. Some damage to the enamel at two corners, some other minor chips and one to the inner detail between 'The' and 'Best', but otherwise a great sign. Top 13", base 11.5" and 14" high. Player's Cigarettes Enamel Sign S89 Original, quality, 1920's/30's, small, oval shaped enamel advertising sign for Player's Cigarettes or Tobacco, and details 'Player's Please' in red script on a cream background. This sign has four screw holes for mounting, which appear not to have been used, in fact, apart from a small chip above the top screw hole, it is in mint condition back and front and complete. An alternative use could be a directional sign for players of golf, tennis, football etc. 14.25" x 8.5". Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £285.00


	Oxo Enamel Sign S87 Original, quality, late 19th Century, rectangular shaped, enamel advertising sign for 'Oxo', with a royal blue background, a thin red border, a large oxo cube form and detailed: 'It's Meat and Drink to You' and 'Concentrated Beef'. The oxo cube also details: 'A Meal in a Moment', 'Oxo Ltd, London' and 'By Appointment' with a royal warrant coat of arms. This sign is very bright and glossy, with some faint scratches to the surface, some rusting to the enamel at the edges and two areas of damage; one on the blue and the other on the cube. Generally though, a super enamel ad, otherwise complete and not a common sign. 18.5" x 12.25". Clcik on photo for larger and other views. Price: £485.00


Simonds' Brewery Enamel Sign S86 Original, quality, 1920's/30's, superb enamel advertising sign in the shape of a Hop leaf in red above a white base, detailing: 'The Hop Leaf' and 'Trademark' printed on the centre of the leaf. Also printed to the lower right hand corner, for the manufacturer, is 'Piccadilly Signs, 23 Charing Cross, SWL'. This bright and clean sign has six screw holes for mounting, which appear not to have been used, and a few very minor chips to the outer edge. A stunning advert for the Simonds' Brewery, from Reading in Berkshire; local to us here in Hungerford. Near mint condition and complete. 28" widest and 28.75" highest. 	De Reszke Enamel Sign S81 Original, quality, 1920's yellow enamel sign with black text detailing "De Reszke" (cigarettes). A little edge damage to the top and some rust stains to the edges. Woodbine Enamel Sign S36 Original quality, 1940/50's, yellow enamel advertising sign for 'Woodbine The Great Little Cigarette'. In amazing condition, with only a few tiny chips. 	Colman's Starch Enamel Sign S35 Original quality, 1920's, enamel advertisement for Colman's Starch, with dark blue letters and borders on white. This sign is truely shiny and bright and has spent most of its life away from the weather. Some chips to the enamel, mainly on the border, and two that just creep into the white area. Dominion Motor Spirit Enamel Sign S33 Original quality, 1920's, enamel advertisement for 'Dominion Motor Spirit', an early brand of motor car petrol. This large sign is clear and brightly coloured with black and white text on blue. Damage to the enamel around the edges, with one or two holes. Some touching in with paint only has been carried out to most of the chips. Marked for the maker 'Bruton London' and 'British Made'. 72" x 30". Click on photo for larger view. Price: £180.00


	White May & Royal Standard Lamp Oil Enamel Sign S29 Original quality, 1920's, double sided, brightly coloured enamel advertisement for 'BP White May & Royal Standard Lamp Oils', with a flange for wall mounting. The sign is very clean, a little bent, and has only two areas of damage to the enamel. An inch or so area is missing on the 'T' of 'Standard' to one side and a larger area is missing from the same spot on the other side, otherwise all is complete and in good order. 12" x 18", 1.5" flange. 	Everett's Boot Polish Tin Advert S94 Original, quality, 1920's, printed on tin advertising sign with six screw holes for mounting and detailing; 'Everett's Extra Tan Nutta', 'The Popular Dark Brown Stain Boot Polish'. By appointment crests are also detailed to the top two corners - one royal coat of arms and the other the Prince of Wales feathers. The display shows tins of Huntley and Palmer biscuits, adverts for Eiffel Tower Lemonade and others. Coopers Sheep Dip Powder P3 Original, quality 1930's unopened packet of Cooper's sheep dipping powder as used in sheep dips to cure sheep scab and blow fly. This package has details to all sides and is generally in good condition with some scuffs and dents and a stained area to the reverse. Bournville Cocoa Tin T20 Original, quality, 1920's, small flat tin given away with a sample of Cadbury's Bournville Cocoa to be used again as a match / vesta case. Transfer printed to the hinged lid with a pictorial of a tin of cocoa and impressed to the reverse 'Cadbury's Bournville' and with a match stricker section to the centre. 	Burton Tailor's Brass Letter Flap LF177 Original, quality, pre-war, cast pink brass letter flap, with embossed detail to the flap: 'Montague Burton, The Tailor of Taste'. This was produced for the shop doors of the gentleman's tailors chain of shops throughout the United Kingdom. Replacement nuts and bolts have been fitted, has been polished and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. External 8.5" x 3.75", aperture 6.25" x 1.5" and bolt centres 7.5". Copper Bovril Urn TU10* Original, quality copper hot water Bovril urn, circa 1900/1920's, as used in cafes and teashops. This would be on top of the counter for customers to view the 'Bovril' plaque and the assistant to use the dispensing tap. The urn is in the form of a castle tower with simulated brickworks and a castellated top. The Bovril shield is in cast brass as are the three bun feet and the tap with an ebony handgrip. The plaque to the front details for the maker "J & H Banfill, Coppersmiths and Urn Makers, Gervase St, Old Kent Road, London SE". This is only the third one we have had in 30 years. A great looking item. All has been polished, lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. 17.75" tall x 10" top diameter, 14" wide including tap and 12.75" base diameter.
