Australian Aircraft Ashtray A37
Original, quality, cast brass ashtray in the form of 'Australia' engraved with the states and many towns. This ashtray is fitted with two cigarette rests to the front and a twin engined aircraft on a stand over the top. The plane is engraved "South Pacific, Sydney Australia 1946". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and apart from the propeller blades missing all is complete and in good order. Base map 6.5" x 5" + 1", total 4.5" tall x 6.5" x 6" front to back.

Pair of Leather Flying Helmets A5
Original, quality pair of pre war leather flying helmets complete with ear phones and flexible hoses. The leatherwork is in super condition and in a grey/brown colour. The interior is lined in a chamois leather, and both have embroidered labels to the inside detailing "Sherwin's of racing, flying and motor clothing fame, no connection with any other firm, 27 Carburton St London W. I Tel Museum 4793." One also has a label for the size "7 ¼ ". Each chromed circular earphone is impressed "D.H Type Earphone." DH= De Haviland Aircraft. All is complete and in good order with no tears, holes or missing buckles, etc. The hat block is not included in the price but is available Ref Code: HB1. Tubes and Earphones 26" long. Earphones diam 2.75". Hatblock in picture 11" tall.

Original, quality, pressed brass equipment protector for use when polishing / cleaning brass buttons and badges etc still fixed to the uniform. This example, the first we have seen of this model, is detailed with cut outs to cover most if not all the requirements and is embossed "The New Pioneer Equipment Protector F.Malborough Birmingham" and has the patent number and a registration number for the year 1921. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. complete and in good and working order. 5.5" x 3".

Original, quality 1930's, brass ashtray with a matchbox holder to the centre, all trench art worked from brass with punch engraved decoration to the base and 'RAF' and 'ADEN' to the sides of the match holder. Polished, lacquered and complete and in good order. 4.5" x 3" high.
