This sign would have been mounted 'bus stop' style, on a wrought iron bracket. A bright clean sign, but with damage around the top mounting hole on both sides and overall to one side only. A bright and glossy, blue and white enamel ad, detailing 'Watson's Matchless Cleanser is the Best Soap for All Purposes'. Singer Sewing Machine Enamel Sign S90 Original, quality, double sided enamel advertising sign, circa 1900, for Singer Sewing Machines. This remarkably clean sign has an end flange for wall mounting - 'bus stop' fashion and details the same to both sides: 'Sewing Machine Orders Taken Here', with a large 'S' in red, detailing 'Singer Sewing Machines' and a black and white line drawing of a young female sat at a Singer treadle sewing machine. A really bright and glossy sign with white text on a green background, with very minor chips to the edges of the enamel and three small chips to the detail. Player's Cigarettes Enamel Sign S89 Original, quality, 1920's/30's, small, oval shaped enamel advertising sign for Player's Cigarettes or Tobacco, and details 'Player's Please' in red script on a cream background. This sign has four screw holes for mounting, which appear not to have been used, in fact, apart from a small chip above the top screw hole, it is in mint condition back and front and complete. Oxo Enamel Sign S87 Original, quality, late 19th Century, rectangular shaped, enamel advertising sign for 'Oxo', with a royal blue background, a thin red border, a large oxo cube form and detailed: 'It's Meat and Drink to You' and 'Concentrated Beef'. The oxo cube also details: 'A Meal in a Moment', 'Oxo Ltd, London' and 'By Appointment' with a royal warrant coat of arms. This sign is very bright and glossy, with some faint scratches to the surface, some rusting to the enamel at the edges and two areas of damage; one on the blue and the other on the cube. Also printed to the lower right hand corner, for the manufacturer, is 'Piccadilly Signs, 23 Charing Cross, SWL'. This bright and clean sign has six screw holes for mounting, which appear not to have been used, and a few very minor chips to the outer edge.
