Enamelled Electric Stove S5 Original, quality, 1940's, grey flecked, enamelled electric stove, manufactured by the 'Jackson Electric Stove Co'; in amazing condition. This stove was working well when disconnected in 2010. The main oven has three removable wire shelves and the top oven has an aluminium toasting tray. The top surface has one circular and one rectangular hotplate and a fold down, white enamelled splashback. All the bakelite handles and switches are in good order and, apart from one minor corner chip to the grey flecked enamel side, all is complete and in superb order, but not sold as working. 36" high to work surface and 9" splashback when up, 20.5" wide and 17.5" front to back. Davis Gas Ring S1 Original, quality, 1920's, cast iron gas ring used to heat a kettle or pan, one at a time. It would have been fired by gas via a tube fitted to the end. Embossed to the top "Empire" and "The Davis Gas Stove Co Ltd, London and Luton" and some Art Nouveau designs, has been stove enamelled black, not complete but otherwise in good order. 11" x 5" x 3.25". Laundry Stove HS1 Original, quality, 19th century, small cast iron laundry room stove for heating flat irons, marked 'No 00' for the size. This stove is in three sections, with a small door to the front of the middle section. The two sides of the main fire box body have been repaired, as has the grille to the base, and all is now in good order and has been repainted. Cast Iron Fireplace FS4 Original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron fireplace, complete with the fire front, flue plate and mantel shelf. This example has serious embossed decoration in the 'Aesthetic Movement' style. The main panel across, below the mantel shelf is full of flowers, berries, leaves, butterflies and a bird. A good repair has been made to a crack from the right hand side and the fire brick also has a crack across it, but it is still usable. All has been cleaned and finished in a fireproof clear lacquer. The flue plate to the back has an old repair and the fire front bars will lift out for convenience. There is a faint, registration lozenge mark to the reverse of the ironwork and "No 20A". Miniature Cast Iron Firegrate FG7 Original, quality 1940's/50's, manufacturer's sample or exhibition model of a three piece cast iron fire front and grate, in a good proportioned, scaled down size. The front bars and ash curfew to the front in cast iron are enamelled in a bronzed finish, and the cast iron base grills on four legs has been cleaned and lacquered.
