	Miniature Cast Iron Firegrate FG7 Original, quality 1940's/50's, manufacturer's sample or exhibition model of a three piece cast iron fire front and grate, in a good proportioned, scaled down size. The front bars and ash curfew to the front in cast iron are enamelled in a bronzed finish, and the cast iron base grills on four legs has been cleaned and lacquered. Tartan Ware Powder Tub MW6 Original, quality 1920's circular sycamore tub with a push on lid, covered in paper 'Scottish Clan Tartan'. Complete with the original swans down powder puff to the inside. Mauchlinware Crochet Needle Case MW4 Original quality, turned limewood, two piece tube, circa 1900, to hold long steel crochet / knitting needles (with five needles included) decorated with a transfer picture of a scene of houses titled 'Grange'. Academy Record Wipe GN2 Original quality, 1920's, gramaphone record wipe with a container for used needles within the grip. The body is covered in brown velvet and the grip and hinged lid is in the original bronze finish. The lid has a dimpled effect and details 'Academy Gramaphones, Give Tone to the Home' and has a very strong spring. 	Leather Covered Cigarette Box L16 Original, quality, post-war, pigskin covered, table top cigarette box with a fully fitted and wood lined interior, a hinged lid and a brass presentation plaque to the inside of the lid, detailing in script: 'With the compliments of Gallaher Ltd'. 	Copper Snuff Box SB4 Original, quality, early 19th Century, copper snuff box with a 3/4 hinged lid, a serpentine shaped front, beading to the top and bottom rims and an inset Georgian coin to the top of the lid. This was originally Sheffield plated, but only the plate to the inside remains. A few stain marks to the interior, otherwise all is complete and in good order. Ships Wheel Cigar Cutter SA23 Original, quality 1920's, 'ship's wheel' cigar cutter on the original circular steel base. The cigar tip would be placed down behind the wheel and the wheel, when turned, will trim off the cigar. The underside is marked to the swinging cover "Made in Germany" and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. 	The Protector Brass Miner's Lamp ML8 Original, quality, all brass Miner's Safety Lamp circa 1900/1920's, in unsused condition. The circular brass plate to the front details "The Protector Lamp and Lighting Co Ltd. Maker Eccles Manchester" and has a space for the serial/owner's number to be stamped "25105" and all is complete and in good order. The burners and the body are both stamped. Polished and lacquered although the lacquer can be removed if required at no extra charge. 10" tall + 3.5" for the hook x 3.5" base diameter. Click on photo for larger and other views. The Protector Miner's Lamp ML2 Original quality steel and brass miner's safety lamp, circa 1900/1920's. The circular brass plaque to the front details 'Type SL Approved Under Schedule B' and 'Protector Lamp & Lighting Co Ltd, The Makers, Eccles, Manchester'. The hand stamped number is 'No.72'. 	Meccano Mini Copper Oil Can OC24 Original, quality, 1920's, superb miniature 'kayes patent' copper oil can with a screw off top brass cap, a pressure button, a rear looped grip and the long spout. This example is impressed with a 'K' to one side for the manufacturer and 'Meccano' to the underside. A wonderful object, these were included in the boxes of the larger kits of meccano free of charge. All is polished and lacquered and complete and in good and working order. 4" x 0.75" and 1" high. 	Folding Boxwood Foot Measure M36 Original quality, 1920's, boxwood measure for measuring feet in shoe shops. Calibrated to one side in inches and shoe sizes to the other and marked for the maker 'Ullathorne & Co'. The hinges etc are all in brass and all is complete and in good and working order. The Avecta Trouser Press T4 Pair of original quality wooden, folding, patent trouser pressers and straighteners, circa 1900, with shaped, plated on steel, decorative hinges. Impressed marks to both 'The Avecta Trouser Presser & Straightener. Patent Applied For'. The two pieces are linked together with a strong cord and the wood could well be lime? 	Co-op Bread Tokens, several available T1 Original, quality, 1920's, oval shaped token coins detailed on both sides 'Northampton Co-operative Society Ltd', 'Bread' and 'Ardill Leeds' in tiny print for the maker. Glove Stretchers GS1 Pair of original quality wooden glove stretchers, circa 1900/1910, with a brass hinge and spring. Stamped to the face 'Lewis's are Good for Gloves' and to the inside of the grips 'Made in Austria'. Glove stretchers were used by ladies to stretch the fingers of chamois leather gloves, which shrank tremendously after they were washed. Complete and in good and working order. 8.5" x 1.75" x 0.75". 	Quiktil Change Machine CM2 Original, quality, oak cased, counter top change machine to change 10/- and £1 notes for silver coinage. The hinged top lid with a lock and key, opens to reveal five clear glass tubes for the coins; two tubes for 2/6 (half crown), two for 2/- (florin) and one for 1/- (shillings). One coin from each tube equals 10/-. The bottom drawer at the front, when pulled out, will release one coin from each tube onto the brass slope, this action is required twice for £1 worth of change. The cabinet is all original and in the original finish, with the remains of two transfers, detailing 'Quicktil' and 'Patent 1926', it comes with a large quantity of coins in the tubes and one 10/- note and one £1 note. Bakelite Money Box MB20 Original, quality 1920's, money box in the form of an artillery shell, with a screw off base, a thick brass washer and coin slot towards the top nose. 	Lloyds Bank Money Box, 2 Available MB18 Original, quality, ovoid shaped money box with a chrome plated finish in the original, two piece, red cardboard box. The five side slots will take sixpences, shillings, threepences and pennies or half crowns and the hole to the underside will take the banknotes. The brass plaque to the top details 'Lloyds Bank Ltd' and the underside is marked with a patent number for the year 1921. I understand the banks would have held the key. Trustees Savings Bank Money Box MB10 Original quality, post war, thick vulcanite type plastic, ovoid shaped money box with a lockable base unit, a coin slot to the top and a hole to one end for rolled up banknotes. These were issued by the banks etc and the keys were held by the bank. An unusual example in this material. Complete and in good order, but missing the key. 4" x 2" x 2.5" high. 	Pair of Wesleyan Sunday School Plates P15* Pair of original quality, late 19th century plates. One dinner size and one tea, both with a transfer to the top of the rim in orange for 'Wesleyan Sunday School, Crow Edge' within a ribbon banner. Both plates also have a gilt line close to the outer edge and a transfer maker's mark to the reverse for 'The Ceramic Art Co Ltd'. The tea plate is a little stained but otherwise they are both complete and in good order. Larger plate 9.75" x 1" and small plate 7" x 0.75". Price is for the pair. Macfarlane Lang Biscuits Booklet A40 Original, early 1930's, printed brochure with forty-two pages of pictures and five pages of text, detailing the history of "Macfarlane Lang and Co Ltd" and mainly the move to the new factory and offices, built at Osterley Park, Middlesex. Great views of the factory in production and staff facilities and offices, etc. A super history document in super condition and complete. 10.25" x 7". Click on photo for larger and other views. 	Brighton Large Cup and Saucer C2 Original quality, late Victorian, ceramic seaside souvenir from Brighton, in the form of a huge cup and saucer. The saucer has three coloured pictures of 1) The Royal Pavilion, 2) King's Road, 3) The Aquarium. The cup has two coloured pictures of 1) The Marine Palace Pier, 2) The West Pier, and has gilt script to the front 'I am not greedy but I like a lot'. Both the cup and saucer are marked to the underside with an upper case 'S' beneath a three-pointed crown. There are gilt lines to the edges and elsewhere and this is a bright clean example in mint condition. The best we have seen. Saucer 8.5" diameter x 1.25", cup 4" tall x 4.5" diameter. Stomach Warmer SW1 Original quality, 19th century, tinsmith made stomach warmer to be filled with hot water. A super thin shaped warmer with a brass ring handle, a brass screw on stopper and a brass maker's plate detailing 'William Schofield, Iron & Tin Plate Worker & Ventilator Manufacturer, 4 Station Street & 30 Lees Road Oldham'. Cleaned and lacquered and complete and in superb condition. The best example of the few tin stomach warmers we have ever seen. 9.5" x 8.25" x 2.5". Click on photo for larger and other views. 	Brightglow Electric Bedwarmer EF3 Original, quality, circa 1910/1920's, electric heater/bedwarmer. This heavy circular copper heater has an aperture with two pins to take an electric kettle type adaptor to plug in and heat up. Impressed to the top and underside "Brightglow Electric Heater", "Disconnect Before Placing in Bed, Heat 5 Minutes Only", "Registration Applied For" and "200/250v". The top surface has been polished and lacquered, but the underside still retains the original finish. Sadly the plug and adaptor are long gone. 	1923 Sealed Tin of Paint P1 Original quality, unopened/sealed, tin of paint, labelled 'Pinchin Johnson & Co Ltd', with a patented pull tab to open the lid showing the date 1923. Prattware Pot Lid with Pot PL21 Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, coloured meat paste pot lid, with the original but discoloured base pot. This brightly coloured example depicts two youths scrapping with a crowd of on-lookers and is entitled "The Wolf and The Lamb". The lid does show some faint crazing, but is otherwise perfect and the base is partly discoloured but again good otherwise. Lid 4.25" diameter, base 3.75" diameter, 2.25" tall. 	Skirt Lifter SL6 Original, quality 1920's, nickel plated on brass skirt lifter, with a hook for the belt. These were worn by housekeepers or the lady of the house to hold up the front of their long skirts when ascending stairs whilst carrying a tray or similar. The hanging sprung clip would hold up the skirt six inches or so to prevent the leading foot rising up the stairs from treading on the skirt; thus preventing a trip. Skirt Lifter SL5 Original, quality, late 19th Century, brass skirt lifter, originally nickel plated. This example is impressed to both top loops 'Registered 1878', has engraved decoration to the bottom of ivy leaves and a superb bee in flight as a sliding top mount. These were worn by housekeepers or the lady of the house to hold up the front of their long skirts when ascending stairs whilst carrying a tray or similar. The cord was around the waist and the hanging sprung clip would hold up the skirt six inches or so to prevent the leading foot rising up the stairs from treading on the skirt; thus preventing a trip. Carved Wooden Nutcracker NC8 Original, quality late 19th century, swiss carved 'Black Forest' nutcracker in the form of a gnome type bearded gent, with one small repair to the beard. 	Brass Pestle and Mortar PM28 Original, quality, mid 19th century, superb cast brass mortar with the original matching double ended pestle. Both items are stamped "15". The mortar has a flared top, straight sides with lines on the circumferences and side lug hand grips, the pestle has a tapered stem from the ends to the centre, and again with circumference line decoration. A great example in super order, not easy to find with the matching pestle. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Buttonhole Flower Holder BH3 Original, quality, chrome plated flower holder and water container for a single bloom, to fit into a gent's lapel buttonhole. 	Ivory Moustache Mirror SB35 Original, quality, late 19th century, tiny oval shaped gentleman's moustache mirror in ivory. GWR Blanket R39 Original, quality, circa 1900, deep maroon coloured Great Western Railway blanket in mint condition, no rips, tears, worn areas or moth damage. This superb example is embroidered to two corners in lower cased gold coloured cotton "Sleeping Cars". Reeves Ceramic Thermometer T6 Original, quality, late 19th century, 12" glass thermometer, with brass plates and mounted on the original white ceramic backplate and calibrated to "60 degrees farenheit". Detailed in black script down one side of the ceramic backplate, presumably for the manufacturer "W.Reeves and Co Ltd, London". An unusual thermometer, complete and in good and working order. 	Terston Label Gummer DC6 Original, quality 1920's, two piece, white ceramic roller for wetting gummed paper labels and stamps.
