Pair of Wesleyan Sunday School Plates P15* Pair of original quality, late 19th century plates. One dinner size and one tea, both with a transfer to the top of the rim in orange for 'Wesleyan Sunday School, Crow Edge' within a ribbon banner. Both plates also have a gilt line close to the outer edge and a transfer maker's mark to the reverse for 'The Ceramic Art Co Ltd'. Court Perseverance Cash Box CB2 Original quality, late 19th century, rectangular, tin cashbox with a hinged lid, lock and key and the original japanned finish and gilt decoration. Glove Stretchers GS1 Pair of original quality wooden glove stretchers, circa 1900/1910, with a brass hinge and spring. Stamped to the face 'Lewis's are Good for Gloves' and to the inside of the grips 'Made in Austria'. 'Brighton' Large Cup and Saucer C2 Original quality, late Victorian, ceramic seaside souvenir from Brighton, in the form of a huge cup and saucer. The saucer has three coloured pictures of 1) The Royal Pavilion, 2) King's Road, 3) The Aquarium. The cup has two coloured pictures of 1) The Marine Palace Pier, 2) The West Pier, and has gilt script to the front 'I am not greedy but I like a lot'. Both the cup and saucer are marked to the underside with an upper case 'S' beneath a three-pointed crown. There are gilt lines to the edges and elsewhere and this is a bright clean example in mint condition. The best we have seen. Saucer 8.5" diameter x 1.25", cup 4" tall x 4.5" diameter.
