	1902 Coronation Medal CC64 Original, quality, bronze medallion in the original fitted and red leather covered box, detailed to the lid in gold leaf: '1902 Coronation Medal' and with the cypher of King Edward VII. The medallion, in the original finish, has the King's head to one side and details 'Edward VII Crowned 9th August 1902', and to the other side, the head of the Queen and details 'Alexandra Queen Consort'. 1924 British Empire Exhibition Souvenir CC63 Original, quality, bone china, ace of spades shaped pin tray, with coloured detail of a cameo of Boadicea with ten flags of different nations and 'Wembley British Empire Exhibition, April to October 1924'. 1935 Shelley Commemorative Beaker CC60 Original, quality, white ceramic beaker, commemorating the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary. The front has a pair of coloured cameos of the King and Queen, with a shield of the Union Jack between with a crown over. 	Pair of 1924 Empire Exhibition Epergnes CC58 Pair of original, quality, nickel plated small epergne vases of a trumpet form with applied Lions and "Wembley 1924" logo in blue and black enamel. 1953 Coronation Trio CC55 Original, quality, 3 pc cream coloured ceramic cup, saucer and tea plate issued to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, each with a cameo of the Queen with flags to both sides and the monogram beneath. 	1953 Coronation Glass Beaker CC54 Original, quality, pressed clear glass overlaid in pale blue beaker with a bright coloured coat of arms to the front for the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth ll. The reverse has a heraldic crest in red. These were issued to all school children in the UK to celebrate the coronation. 1937 Coronation Shaving Mug CC52 Original, quality, white ceramic gents shaving mug with a side loop handle, a top perforated section for the soap and a front aperture to access the hot water. The transfer printed coloured cameo to the side is detailed for the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother in 1937. 	6 Matching "British Officers" Teaspoons CC50* Six original, quality 1920's, matching, unused, silver plated teaspoons each bearing a different head and details of various British officers of the 1st World War and previous. 1. Lord Fisher and a Cameo of a British bulldog above 'The Navy' in upper case. 2. King George V and a cameo of Britannia, above 'The Empire'. 3. Admiral Beatty and a cameo of a warship, above 'The Navy'. 4. Earl Roberts and a cameo of an Indian Army Soldier, above 'India'. 5. Earl Kitchener and a cameo of a British Soldier, above 'The Army'. 6. Duke of Connaught and a cameo of a soldier, above 'Canada'. The reverse of the spoons are all marked 'Patent applied for, Birks EPNS' and have garlands of roses, shamrocks and thistles for England, Ireland and Scotland. King Edward VIII Farewell Speech CC49 Original, quality circular bakelite plaque, detailed to both sides with the farewell speech of King Edward VIII, broadcast from Windsor Castle on 11th December 1936. This is the first we have seen and apart from a chip to the rim on one side, near the top, it is in superb condition. It has two holes for a suspension cord, a postage stamp of the day affixed and on the reverse to the lower edge it is marked 'Made in England, By Clang Ltd London'. 4.5" diameter x 1/8" thick. 	Walnut Ore Container CC48* Original, quality container turned in walnut with an end cap and a rectangular plinth. This container originally contained uranium bearing ore and is mounted with a silver or silver plated plaque engraved 'Uranium Bearing Ore from West Rand Consolidated Mines Limited, on 8th October 1952 This Gold Mine Became South Africa's First Producer of Uranium'. Large Brass Medallion CC47* Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, cast brass side view of a gentleman's head in relief mounted on a heavy circular cast brass wall plaque. The reverse of the plaque has a screwhead slot for wall hanging and shows an old repair. The gentleman is unknown to us, we would be pleased to know of him if you do. 	1911 Coronation Mug CC46 Original, quality commemorative mug manufactured to celebrate the Coronation in 1911 of King George V and Queen Mary. The two cameos to the front are surrounded by garlands of flowers and the two rear pictorial panels show various armed forces and badges. The underside is transfer printed 'Aynsley England' with a crown, for the manufacturer. All is complete and in good order. 3" high, 3.5" wide and 4.25" wide including handle. 1924 Wembley Brass Pin Tray CC45* Original, quality circular pressed brass pin tray with a wavy outer edge and an applied "Lion" logo in blue enamel and brass with "Wembley 1924". This 'Lion' was the emblem of the 1924 Wembley exhibition and this tray was only available at the exhibition. 	1937 Coronation Rug CC43* Original, quality cotton and wool rug made to commemorate the Coronation of King George VI in 1937. The left panel shows three different Royal Crowns and the right panel shows The Orb and Sceptres with two Royal Swords. 1935 Sowerby Silver Jubilee Mug CC39 Original, quality green tinged pressed glass mug commemorating The Silver Jubilee of King George V, issued in 1935. The mug, of plain form, has decoration to the front and is marked beneath with the peacock's head for the makers Sowerby and 'British Made'. 	Hard Bound Order of Service for the 1902 Coronation CC32 Original, quality hard cover bound 'Order of the Coronation Service of King Edward VII & Queen Alexandra' on June 26 1902. 1902 Lithophane Cup CC28 Original, quality bone china teacup, with the monogram of King Edward V11 beneath the crown over '1902'. This was issued to commemorate the coronation in 1902, with the lithophane portrait of the King to the base of the cup. An unusual example, detailed for the 'Preston Guild'. 	1937 Edward VIII Tea Caddy Tin CC27* Original, quality printed tin tea caddy, 1 lb. size, with four cameo pictures; two the same of Edward VIII, one of Buckingham Palace and the other of Windsor Castle. Probably issued to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII in 1937, which never was. Some minor dents and rub marks, otherwise complete and in good order. 1937 Edward VIII Pewter Tankard CC25 Original, quality one pint pewter tankard, with an overlaid blue glass bottom engraved 'ER VIII 1937', to commemorate the coronation of Edward VIII, which never was. The most interesting thing is the pewter plate added to the front, engraved 'Abdicated 11th December 1936'. We have not seen this before. The pewter is stamped to the underside 'Manor' and with the number '2348'. Unfortunately the inner clear glass bottom panel has a crack, although the engraved blue overlaid panel is undamaged. 	1937 Edward VIII Beaker CC23 Original, quality pink ceramic beaker, issued to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII in 1937, which never was. This bellied beaker has a white ceramic bust of Edward applied to the front with 'H.M. King Edward VIII' above and 'Coronation 1937' over 'ER' to the reverse. 1937 Edward VIII Mug CC21 Original, quality unusual cream coloured mug, issued to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII in 1937, which never was. Printed to the underside for the maker 'Thomas Goode & Co Ltd London' and 'Made in England Copyright'. The front of the mug has a full length picture of Edward in his coronation robes and the reverse has the monogram with a crown over within a laurel wreath. The side handle has a lion's head to the top and the rim is inscribed 'To Commemorate the Coronation of Edward VIII, King Emperor, May 12th. 1937. 1911 Foley Coronation Mug CC9 Original, quality fine Foley china mug with side loop handle and multicoloured decoration throughout. To the front is a detailed picture of a coloured shield and two figurines either side. The reverse details 'King of Great Britain and Ireland and All The British Dominion Beyond The Seas' and 'Emperor of India'. A clear transfer printed maker's mark can be seen to the underside. 	1902 Edward VII Enamel Beaker CC6 Original, quality, 1902 Coronation, enamelled beaker in amazing condition. The red and pale blue line decoration are on an off white background with gold lines to the top and bottom. The 'ER' monogram beneath '1902' is to the front with a coat of arms to the reverse and the other detail is 'Edward VII D.G Britanniarum Rev. F.D. Ind. Imperator'. All is bright and clean with only the uppermost gold band on the top rim showing rubbing. The enamel is perfect, not a chip or discolouration to be seen anywhere. 4" tall, 3.75" top diameter, 2.75" base diameter. Click on photo for larger and extra views Price: £220.00


1897 Diamond Jubilee Mug CC5 Original, quality tapered ceramic mug with side handle. Issued to commemorate Queen Victoria's 60 years of reign, her Diamond Jubilee. The front depicts a circular detailed plaque between 2 flags and under the crown, the reverse as given by 'Robert Long Mayor' of Newbury with the castle motif. A very small part of the transfer was lost in the printing, otherwise all is complete and in good order. Base diameter 3.25", top diameter 2.5" x 3.25" tall. 	1887 Jubilee Water Jug CC4 Original, quality two pint clear glass jug with overlaid ribbed cranberry glass to the top 1.5". The clear glass body is acid etched with the design of a bust of Queen Victoria within a garland of roses, thistles and shamrocks, surrounded by ferns and a swag 'Jubilee Year 1887'. 4 Commemorative Brass Martingale HB85* Original, quality superb leather heavy horse martingale with four commemorative brass faceplates, circa 1900. The two lower brasses were issued after the death of Queen Victoria and are engraved 'Victoria the Good 1819 - 1901' and the two upper brasses were to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902 and are engraved 'God Save the King Edward VII'. The leatherwork is in good order throughout and is fitted with two original brass buckles. A stunning set of brasses difficult to better. Complete and in good order. Coronation Crown Horse Brass HB38* Original quality, 'Heavy Horse', pierced and pressed brass faceplate depicting the royal crown issued for King George V's coronation in 1912. 	Lipton's Brass Tea Caddy, 2 available TC13* Original, quality pressed brass tea caddy with lid as purchased at the British Empire Exhibiton in 1926, issued by Lipton's Tea Company and supplied filled with tea leaves. The lion logo for the exhibition is embossed to the top surface; 'British Empire Exhibition 1926' is around the centre followed by 'Liptons Souvenir Tea Caddy' and the underside is impressed 'Liptons' and with the registration number for the year 1926. Issued by Lipton's tea company and supplied filled with tea leaves. 	1926 Co.op Jubilee Teapot TP8* Original, quality white ceramic teapot, issued in 1926, with a decorative band to the top of the sides, floral decoration and gilding to the spout, top rim and handle and most of all with sepia detail to the front in ribbon swags 'Whitewell-Bottom Industrial Co.operative Society Ltd, Jubilee 1876 - 1926'. Some very minor chips to the inside of the rim on the lid and some rubbing on the gilding otherwise complete and in good order. GR.VI Oval Platter P23 Original, quality, oval shaped white ceramic meat plate with the cypher of King George VI in blue to the front and "1941", "W.Adams and Sons England" to the reverse. 	1887 Jubilee Brass Tray T48 Original, quality circular pressed brass drinks tray with a rope twist outer rim and a very detailed central panel partly engraved, partly pressed. The central cameo of Queen Victoria's crowned head is surrounded with a garland of roses, thistles, shamrocks and leaves of the same, and carries a crown and details 'Victoria Jubilee 1887', 'Born May 1819', 'Crowned June 1837', 'Married 1840', 'Empress of India, Queen of England'. 	1926 White Ceramic Candlestick CS97 Original, quality, white ceramic candlestick, with the cipher in green of King George V to the base and to the underside '1926' and 'Keeling & Co Ltd, Burslem' for the maker. Ceramic items with these Royal ciphers were generally from Government or Royal establishments for staff use, but not for the Royalty to use themselves. 1935 Silver Jubilee Corkscrew Set CS34* Set of three original quality brass home bar tools comprising corkscrew, bottle opener with steel fittings and bottle stopper with cork. The cast brass grips depict the of heads King George V and Queen Mary and the dates 1910/1935. This set was issued to commemorate the King's Silver Jubilee in 1935. 	Watsons' Toffee Ceramic Tankard A38 Original, quality 1920's, blue and white, ceramic tankard, manufactured by Maling for the Watsons' Toffee Works, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. The body and side handle are covered in a blue and white, straw like design with two cameo pictures: one of 'The 1929 Exhibition Building, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne' and the other of 'The New Tyne High Level Four Swing Bridges, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne'. The underside is detailed for 'Maling with the Castle Keep Logo', 'Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England' and 'Made for Watsons' Toffee Works Ltd, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne'. 1937 Commemorative Glass Ashtray A13 Original, quality moulded clear glass square shaped deep ashtray with a cigarette groove to each corner and silver painted cameo to the bottom of King George VI & Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Presumably issued as a souvenir for the coronation in 1937. A little discolouration to the underside but no chips or cracks and all is complete and in good order. 3.75" square x 2" high. 	Large Banded Jug J44 Original, quality, large, white ceramic bellied shaped water jug, with embossed simulated barrel staves and hoops and a vine leaf to the underside of the pouring lip. Although this jug looks to be mid 19th Century, it has the cipher of King George VI in green to the front, '1940' and 'Bovery Pottery Ltd' to the underside. As stunning as it is, this jug is damaged; it has two short hairline cracks from the top, a star crack to the base and a large chip glued back in on the rim of the base, otherwise complete and a great looker. Ceramic items with these Royal ciphers were generally from Government or Royal establishments for staff use, but not for the Royalty to use themselves.10.25" high, 8.25" diameter and 11.5" widest including handle. Pair of 1902 Coronation Dinner Knife and Fork, 2 Pairs Available C18 Original, quality, steel knife and fork with walnut side covers to the handles. The knife blade is etched 'Kings Coronation Dinner, Streatham, 1902'. These were obviously used for a dinner to celebrate the Coronation of King Edward VII.
