Original, quality, bronze medallion in the original fitted and red leather covered box, detailed to the lid in gold leaf: '1902 Coronation Medal' and with the cypher of King Edward VII. The medallion, in the original finish, has the King's head to one side and details 'Edward VII Crowned 9th August 1902', and to the other side, the head of the Queen and details 'Alexandra Queen Consort'. All is complete and in good order, with some scuffs and marks to the lid of the box only. Medallion 2.25" diameter and box 3.5" x 3.5" x 0.5".

King Edward VIII Farewell Speech CC49
Original, quality circular bakelite plaque, detailed to both sides with the farewell speech of King Edward VIII, broadcast from Windsor Castle on 11th December 1936. This is the first we have seen and apart from a chip to the rim on one side, near the top, it is in superb condition. It has two holes for a suspension cord, a postage stamp of the day affixed and on the reverse to the lower edge it is marked 'Made in England, By Clang Ltd London'. 4.5" diameter x 1/8" thick.

Original, quality container turned in walnut with an end cap and a rectangular plinth. This container originally contained uranium bearing ore and is mounted with a silver or silver plated plaque engraved 'Uranium Bearing Ore from West Rand Consolidated Mines Limited, on 8th October 1952 This Gold Mine Became South Africa's First Producer of Uranium'. The ore sample has long gone but otherwise all is complete and in good order. 3.5" long x 2.5" x 2.75" high.

Original, quality one pint pewter tankard, with an overlaid blue glass bottom engraved 'ER VIII 1937', to commemorate the coronation of Edward VIII, which never was. The most interesting thing is the pewter plate added to the front, engraved 'Abdicated 11th December 1936'. We have not seen this before. The pewter is stamped to the underside 'Manor' and with the number '2348'. Unfortunately the inner clear glass bottom panel has a crack, although the engraved blue overlaid panel is undamaged. Otherwise all is complete and in good order. An unusual commemorative collectable. 5" tall x 3.5" diameter base, 4.75" widest including handle.

Original, quality, 1902 Coronation, enamelled beaker in amazing condition. The red and pale blue line decoration are on an off white background with gold lines to the top and bottom. The 'ER' monogram beneath '1902' is to the front with a coat of arms to the reverse and the other detail is 'Edward VII D.G Britanniarum Rev. F.D. Ind. Imperator'. All is bright and clean with only the uppermost gold band on the top rim showing rubbing. The enamel is perfect, not a chip or discolouration to be seen anywhere. 4" tall, 3.75" top diameter, 2.75" base diameter.

The two lower brasses were issued after the death of Queen Victoria and are engraved 'Victoria the Good 1819 - 1901' and the two upper brasses were to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902 and are engraved 'God Save the King Edward VII'. The leatherwork is in good order throughout and is fitted with two original brass buckles. A stunning set of brasses difficult to better. Complete and in good order. The body and side handle are covered in a blue and white, straw like design with two cameo pictures: one of 'The 1929 Exhibition Building, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne' and the other of 'The New Tyne High Level Four Swing Bridges, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne'. The underside is detailed for 'Maling with the Castle Keep Logo', 'Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England' and 'Made for Watsons' Toffee Works Ltd, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne'. 1937 Commemorative Glass Ashtray A13
Original, quality moulded clear glass square shaped deep ashtray with a cigarette groove to each corner and silver painted cameo to the bottom of King George VI & Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Presumably issued as a souvenir for the coronation in 1937. A little discolouration to the underside but no chips or cracks and all is complete and in good order. 3.75" square x 2" high.

Large Banded Jug J44
Original, quality, large, white ceramic bellied shaped water jug, with embossed simulated barrel staves and hoops and a vine leaf to the underside of the pouring lip. Although this jug looks to be mid 19th Century, it has the cipher of King George VI in green to the front, '1940' and 'Bovery Pottery Ltd' to the underside. As stunning as it is, this jug is damaged; it has two short hairline cracks from the top, a star crack to the base and a large chip glued back in on the rim of the base, otherwise complete and a great looker. Ceramic items with these Royal ciphers were generally from Government or Royal establishments for staff use, but not for the Royalty to use themselves.10.25" high, 8.25" diameter and 11.5" widest including handle.

Pair of 1902 Coronation Dinner Knife and Fork, 2 Pairs Available C18
Original, quality, steel knife and fork with walnut side covers to the handles. The knife blade is etched 'Kings Coronation Dinner, Streatham, 1902'. These were obviously used for a dinner to celebrate the Coronation of King Edward VII. They appear unused and are complete and in good order. Forks 6.75" x 0.75" x 0.25" and knives 9" x 1" x 0.5". Price is per pair.
