Horn Handled Steel Knives and Forks C20 Twelve pieces of original, quality, late 19th Century, steel knives and forks with cow horn handles. The knives are all stamped for the maker 'J. Hall & Co, Sheffield' and the six forks are all very similar, with two a little larger - these are stamped 'Steel'. Remember, these knives and forks are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they do not like water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly. 	Horn Handled Steel Knives and Forks C19 Twelve pieces of original, quality, late 19th Century, steel knives and forks with cow horn handles. The six knives are very similar, but have differing Sheffield makers marks - 'Wheatley Brothers', 'Thomas Smith' and 'Hiran Wild' - and the six forks again are very similar, with two being a little smaller and all are marked 'Steel'. Remember, these knives and forks are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they do not like water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly. Pair of 1902 Coronation Dinner Knife and Fork, 2 Pairs Available C18 Original, quality, steel knife and fork with walnut side covers to the handles. The knife blade is etched 'Kings Coronation Dinner, Streatham, 1902'. These were obviously used for a dinner to celebrate the Coronation of King Edward VII. Pair of Horn Handled Steel Knives C16 A pair of original, quality early to mid 19th Century steel dinner knives, engraved 'Wheeler' for the maker, with cow horn handles. These knives are not stainless steel and although they will sharpen easily and hold a good edge, they will also rust easily if not cared for correctly. 	Boxed Fish Servers C6 Pair of original quality, superb, silver plated and engraved fish serving knife and fork, circa 1900, with ivory handles, all in the original Maroccan red leather covered hinged presentation box. Both the knife and fork are profusely engraved both to the front and back with acanthus leaf designs; but the knife is particularly exciting with a very detailed engraving of a brace of trout, a fishing rod, reel and a landing net. The grips of both pieces are in carved ivory with a minor split to the handle of the fish knife, otherwise all is in super order. The inside of the box is fitted with purple velvet to the base with matching silk to the lid. A well above average pair complete and in good and working order. Box 13.75" x 4.5" x 1.25". Boxed Set of Fruit Knives C4 Original quality, 1920's, boxed set of six stainless steel fruit knives with good mother of pearl grips. These appear not to have been used, and come with the original velvet and silk lined leather look hinged box with a press stud catch to the front. Each blade is etched 'Satinless De Luxe' and 'Made in Sheffield'. A super looking, very clean boxed set, complete and in good and working order. Box 7.5" x 5.75" x 1". Price is for the set. Cased Fish Servers CS21 Pair of original quality silver plated fish serving knife and fork, circa 1900, in the original red Moroccan leather covered fully fitted box with a hinged lid and a blue velvet and light blue silk lining. The pair are stamped "W H & S" for the manufacturer and although these have been used they show very little wear and are complete and in good and working order. Case 14.75" x 4.75" + 1.75". 	Hadfields Fertiliser's Carving Knife CS19 Original quality, 1920's, carving knife in stainless steel with an ivorine handle. This knife was originally part of a boxed set made as a presentation by 'Hadfield's Fertilisers of Liverpool' and the blade is engraved for the same firm. Elephant Ivory Carving Set CS18 Pair of original superb quality, 19th century, carving knife and fork, with African elephant ivory tusk handles and silver plated mounts, in the original fully fitted oak box with key. The plated mounts have an engine turned decoration and the knife blade is stamped 'VR' with a crown and 'Thornhill' for the maker. The box interior is lined in the original blue felt, with a little wear to the edge. Complete and in good and working order. Box 19" x 5.5" x 3", knife 16.75" long. Price is for the set. Corn On The Cob Breadknife BK7 Original, quality, 19th Century, steel bread knife with an ivorine handle, simulating a carved ivory corn on the cob. The blade is stamped 'VR' with a crown and for the maker 'Joseph Rodgers and Sons, Cutlers to Her Majesty' to one side, and with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1848 to the other. 	Steel Bread Knife BK2* Original quality, late 19th century, steel bread knife with a nickel plated decorated pistol grip handle with acantus leaf designs. The blade is engraved 'Bread Knife' with a seed sowing scene to one side. The blade is steel and not stainless steel, and will sharpen to a good sharp blade when necessary. Silver Fruit Knife and Fork FK43 Original, quality, folding pocket fruit knife and fork in hallmarked silver with mother of pearl covers. The two pieces are locked together with pegs and can be separated by sliding up and down, The UK hallmarks to both bear the maker's initials "WG&S" and are for around 1900. No damage to the silver blades or the mother of pearl and the action is good and tight. All is complete and in good and working order. A super set. Closed 3.25" x 0.5" x 3/8". 	Pair of Ceramic and Silver Plated Salad Servers SS9 A pair of original, quality late 19th Century, superb silver plated salad servers, with engraved bowls and stems, and leaf green ceramic handles. Both are impressed to the reverse of the stem for the manufacturer 'Mappin Brothers'. The best salad servers we have seen for a long time, but sadly not boxed.
