Bottle of Butter Colouring DP59 Original quality, 1920's, stoneware jar with the contents, the original paper labels and the wax seal to the top. The label details the contents 'R.J Fullwood & Bland's Oleo Butter Colour', and '25/35 Bevenden Street London W.I'. It also details 'Directions for use'. 3 Gallon Galvanised Churn DP57 Original quality, 1920's, galvanised churn with tapered shoulders, a pouring lip, a lid with a deep rim, a rear carry grip handle, an over the top swing handle and a brass plaque to the front detailing '3 Gallons'. 	Large Oval Steel Dairy Can DP56 Original quality, late 19th century, larger oval steel dairy delivery can, (looks to be two gallons) as used on delivery prams and floats, when selling from door to door. This example has a steel loop swing handle to the top and large brass mounts to the hinge of the lid. The tinning to the interior is in super condition and all has been cleaned and lacquered. Stamped to the reverse 'Defiance'. A good large clean dairy can. Complete and in good order. Base 10.25" x 7.75", 13.5" tall with handle down and 10.5" front to back with handle down. 	Oval Steel Dairy Can DP54 Original quality, late 19th century, oval steel dairy can as used on milk delivery prams and floats when selling from door to door. This example has the standard brass wire loop swing handle to the top, a fixed loop to the back and large brass mounts to the hinge of the lid. The half cover to the spout is impressed 'For Bottle Filling Only', and the side is marked 'Half Pint' and it has a good lead custom and excise mark. 	Covered Milking Bucket DP45 Original quality galvanised, covered milking bucket, with top and bottom grips and a brass label to the top detailing 'Phoenix Covered Bucket' and with the registration number for the year 1935. 	Small Steel Dairy Can DP32 Original quality, late 19th century, very small oval steel dairy cream can with a snap shut hinged lid, a wire loop swing handle and a rear wire loop. The loop, handles and hinge appear to be made of nickel and not in brass as is usually found. The top of the lid is stamped for the 'Birmingham Dairy Company Ltd'. Tiny Steel Dairy Can DP21 Original quality, late 19th century, tapered, steel, circular cream can, with a loop handle and lift off lid. Stamped to one side 'E Jackson Maker Soutergate Ulverston'. This can would have been used to deliver cream from the delivery churn on the milk float or pram to the better houses, before milk bottles. Oak Butter Dish BD4* Original quality, 1920's, turned oak butter dish with the original white ceramic liner and nickle plated fittings. The hinge plate to the swing handle is impressed '6554' and 'B&A EPNS'. Apart from a minor chip to the underside of the white liner, all is complete and in good order. 4.75" top diameter, 2.5" high with handle down and 5.5" high with handle up. 	Sycamore Butter Stamp BS13 Original quality, late 19th century, circular butter stamp with a rear mounted screw in handle. The face is hand carved with the detail of a cow on grass with a gate to one side and branches above. 	Brass Skimmer SK5* Original quality, 1920's, pierced brass skimmer of an unusual shape to the body and handle; with two good copper rivets and the original unpolished patina to the reverse. Brass & Iron Skimmer SK3* Original quality, early 19th century, circular brass dairy skimmer with a blacksmith made wrought iron handle. 	Brass Skimmer SK1* Original quality superb pierced brass dairy skimmer with a shaped bowl and tapered handle with a celtic type design to the top. The bowl has an unusual shaped piercing and two rivets fixing it to the shaft, stamped to the reverse with the registration number for the year 1910. So although this looks 18/19th century, it was probably manufactured by Peerage in the early 1900's, never the less, a superb, very clean example. Quart Glass Milk Bottle DP36 Original quality, 1950/60's, quart size, clear glass milk bottle with an unused cardboard lid. The bottle is decorated in green for the milk supplier 'Ratcliff's Dairy Wash Common' and the telephone number 'Newbury795' (Newbury in Berkshire).
