	Coalbrookdale Cast Iron Umbrella Stand US53 Original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron umbrella stand, with a lift out cast iron drip pan. This example has six ring compartments, a shaped base, four cast iron finials to the top and end panels in an Aesthetic Movement designs and are marked with a registration lozenge mark for the year 1879 and the number 330925 - this mark and number are also on the underside of the base. The base is also marked to the upper surface 'C-B-Dale' for the manufacturer, Coalbrookdale, and 'No 249' for the model number. All has been cleaned and finished in a coat of lacquer, and is complete and in good order. A great looking umbrella stand. Base 25.5" x 8" + total 25.25" tall. Coalbrookdale Cast Iron Umbrella Stand US49 Original, quality, late 19th Century, cast iron umbrella stand with a lift out cast iron drip pan. This example has four ring compartments to the top and four replacement finials copied from an original. The side panels have Aesthetic Movement designs and are marked with a registration lozenge mark for the year 1879 and the number 330925 - this mark and number are also on the underside of the base. 	Stoneware Umbrella Tub US46 Original, quality, 1920's, tall, coffee brown, glazed stoneware, cylindrical umbrella tub. Superb glazing, no chips, but a short 2" hairline crack to the top rim. Art Nouveau Umbrella Tub US45 Original, quality, brass and copper umbrella stand, circa 1900/1920's, in the original, oxydised finish. This superb tub has a top band of brass with a deep relief of roses and leaves, a pair of cast brass drop ring side handles and a hammered finish, tapered copper body, all mounted on three cast brass bun feet. A replacement base has been fitted and all is now complete and in good and working order. This can be polished back to the brass and copper on request, if required. 	Cast Brass Mantel Ornament MO30 Original, quality late 19th Century finely detailed cast iron decorative mantel ornament depicting an eagle with outspread wings and a serpant in it's beak, above two stylised dolphins all on a shaped plinth. The underside is embossed with a registered lozenge mark for the year 1882. All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and is superb order. Base 6" x 3" x 4.5" total height. Pair of Brass Clogs Mantel Ornaments MO26 A pair of original, quality, brass and copper mantel ornaments, circa 1900, in the form of 'his and her' clogs. 'Her' clogs engraved with flowers and vines, face onto 'his' clogs and are mounted on copper stands. Shoe mantel ornaments are normally in the form of more conventional boots and shoes. Pair of Cast Iron Mantel Ornaments MO15 Pair of original quality, late 19th century, cast iron mantel ornaments with both a left and a right handed version of a uniformed soldier mounted on a charging horse. The uniform resembles those worn in the Crimean War, so these ornaments may depict the famous Charge of the Light Brigade at the Battle of Balaclava in 1854. Both are embossed to the reverse with the registration number for the year 1894, 40 years after the battle. These have been cleaned and finished in a coat of clear lacquer. The one facing to the left did have an old repair using a rivetted section of iron plate, now removed and a new weld repair has been made to the reverse being barely visible from the front. Both are now complete and in good order, an impressive pair of castings. Base 12.5", height 9.25" and 2" front to back. Price is for the pair. Click on photo for larger and other views. 	Shoe Display Stand DS2 Original, quality shoe shop, shoe display stand in the original bronze finish on brass with an adjustable angle mechanism. The action is stamped "Dudley London" for the manufacturer and with the patent number for the year 1922. Cleaned, lacquered and complete and in good order. Carved Wooden Dog CW2 Original, quality, late 19th Century, superb, carved standing dog of the St Bernard type; very realistic and proportioned in Swiss walnut with glass eyes and fine carved detail and colouring. These carvings were generally referred to as 'Black Forest', but were mainly carved in Switzerland. No damage, no chips, no repairs and complete. 	Brass Fire Iron Tidy F301 Original, quality late 19th century cast brass fire iron tidy with an infilled cast iron weight to the underside. The top surface has two rounded designs to each end and a reeded finial/handgrip to the centre. Polished and lacquered although the lacquer can be removed if required at no extra cost. Cast Iron Door Porter DP43 Original, quality, 19th Century, cast iron door porter with great detail of acanthus leaves, oak leaves and acorns. The reverse is impressed with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1870, 'No 239641' and '45' for the model number. This was manufactured by Coalbrookdale, but is not marked as such. Cleaned, waxed and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Complete and in good order. 11" tall, 7" wide and 3" front to back. 	Brass Door Porter DP42 Original, quality, late 19th Century, cast brass door porter with a cast iron weighted base. This example has a detailed figure of cupid to the top, part standing on a stack of books and with a bow to one side. The halo above its head serves as a loop hand grip. An unusual example, the first we have seen. Has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer can be removed if required, at no extra cost. Cast Iron Civil War Memorial Door Porter DP39 Original, quality, superbly detailed, cast iron door porter, we think issued to commemorate the end of the US Civil War; for the registration lozenge mark to the reverse is for the year 1865, and the Civil War was 1854 to 1865. The detail includes a sabre, a musket with bayonet, cannons and balls, flags and pennant lances and various other items, all mounted on a plinth with a wreath of laurel leaves to the top, in the form of a memorial. The reverse is impressed with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1865, 'No 183575' and '670'. Several very minor repairs have been made, all has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in superb order. 17.5" high, 9.5" wide at base and 5" front to back at base. 	Brass Door Porter DP38 Original, quality, late 19th century cast brass door porter with lead infill to the base for a counter weight. This example, the first we have seen in this form has a stylised Hibiscus flower head to the top as a hand grip. Brass Footman FM1 Original quality heavy cast brass footman with two false drawers over the cabriole front legs and two side handles. This example is constructed from five cast brass panels, each impressed to the reverse with the registration number for the year 1904 and mounted with legs and side handles. A superb example, well above average, which has been polished and lacquered. 	Mappin and Webb Water Jug J67 Original, quality, late 19th century, little used, silver plated water jug, with a bulbous body, a side handle and a hinged and shaped lid, with a further hinged pouring spout cover. The top of the bulbous section has a decorative wreath shaped beading and the underside is impressed "3A", "Mappin and Webb, Princes Plate, London and Sheffield", "C3/15" and "Triple Deposit". Cut Glass Jug and Basin JB41 Original, quality, circa 1900, cut clear glass ewer and wash basin. Trench Art Wine Coaster SC98 Original, quality, base of a World War One, German brass shell case fashioned into a bottle stand or wine coaster. The exterior is punch decorated with acanthus leaf designs, and the underside is stamped "1917" and "391, Polte, Magdeburg, SP406". 	Pair of 1918 Decorated Brass Shell Cases SC57 Pair of original quality brass shell cases, each with applied cast brass Art Nouveau decoration to the front and a pair of side handles. Several stamps are apparent to the underside including '1918' '13 pr' and 'Lot 71 & 72'. The central firing cap sections have both been replaced. 	Pair of Trench Art Brass Shell Cases SC34 Pair of original quality brass shell cases from the 1st World War, 1914 - 1918, later decorated with punched details incorporating a heart, flowers, leaves and '1920'. This pair are also very waisted to the lower half, not an easy task. Generally referred to as 'Trench Art' with many numbers and references to the underside, see picture. Brass and Tin Letter Clip LC23 Original, quality, late 19th Century letter clip with a pressed sheet brass top mount and a pressed tin base, both detailed in relief. The top section has a large 'A. I.' and a faint registration lozenge mark for the year 1842 to 1883 and the lower section has a hanging hole to the top. Why a watch stand combined with a pen stand, I do not know, but a quirky desk accessory never the less. Brass Letter Rack LR31 Original, quality, brass letter rack circa 1900, with three brass mesh panels, a curved over the top frame as a handle, all mounted on a mahogany base with four brass ball feet. The underside has a small circular paper retailer's label with a Paris address and an impressed stamp 'S. H. & S.' for the manufacturer, S. Hall and Son of Birmingham. The brass has been polished and lacquered and, apart from one small chip to the underside edge of the mahogany, all is complete and in good order. 	W T & S Brass Letter Rack LR29 Original, quality, 1920's, brass letter rack on a painted wooden base, stamped to the underside 'WT & S' and with the sun trademark for William Tonks and Son of Birmingham. 	Brown Westhead and Moore Ceramic Footbath FB6 Original, quality, mid to late 19th Century, cream coloured, glazed ceramic footbath of a bellied form, hand grips to each end and a blue detailed decoration to both sides of convolvulus flowers and leaves. Remains of a gilded line to the top rim and to the handles can still be seen and, most important of all, this footbath is seriously damaged, with one crack running from the top on one side to the base and from the top on the otherside to the base with a horizontal crack halfway down also. Some general discolouration is evident to the inside and the underside is impressed for the manufacturer: 'Brown Westhead Moore and Co'. White Ceramic Footbath FB5 Original, quality, mid to late 19th Century, large, white glazed ceramic footbath with embossed bands to the sides and hand grips to each end. Although this footbath is heavy and sturdy, it does have some cracks which are generally hard to spot, but nevertheless one is at one end from the top to the base and into the floor and another is around the bottom edge. Quiktil Change Machine CM2 Original, quality, oak cased, counter top change machine to change 10/- and £1 notes for silver coinage. The hinged top lid with a lock and key, opens to reveal five clear glass tubes for the coins; two tubes for 2/6 (half crown), two for 2/- (florin) and one for 1/- (shillings). One coin from each tube equals 10/-. The bottom drawer at the front, when pulled out, will release one coin from each tube onto the brass slope, this action is required twice for £1 worth of change. The cabinet is all original and in the original finish, with the remains of two transfers, detailing 'Quicktil' and 'Patent 1926', it comes with a large quantity of coins in the tubes and one 10/- note and one £1 note. 	Lloyds Bank Money Box, 2 Available MB18 Original, quality, ovoid shaped money box with a chrome plated finish in the original, two piece, red cardboard box. The five side slots will take sixpences, shillings, threepences and pennies or half crowns and the hole to the underside will take the banknotes. The brass plaque to the top details 'Lloyds Bank Ltd' and the underside is marked with a patent number for the year 1921. I understand the banks would have held the key. Trustees Savings Bank Money Box MB10 Original quality, post war, thick vulcanite type plastic, ovoid shaped money box with a lockable base unit, a coin slot to the top and a hole to one end for rolled up banknotes. Toleware Tray T96 Original, quality, late 19th century, ovoid shaped pressed tin tea tray, with a shaped outer edge and a decorated topside. The decoration is in the form of four panels of handpainted flowers within gilded frames around the outer flange, and a central back panel, also with a gilded border. The general background is a buff green colour and the reverse is in all black japanned, with some small painted reference numbers "1159" and "01822". Some scuffs and scratches and small patches with the decoration missing, but otherwise a superbly decorated toleware tray. All original with no signs of touching up. 27" x 23" x 1.25". Complete and in good order. These brass tins, containing a variety of items dependant on the recipient, were given to all British troops serving overseas for Christmas 1914. The funds for these were raised by Princess Mary, daughter of King George V. Most but not all of the tins were issued with a pack of cigarettes, a pack of tobacco, a Christmas card in an envelope, a printed photo. of Princess Mary and a silver tipped brass shell case with a pencil inside. Oak Tantalus T5 Original, quality, late 19th century, oak tantalus, with a locking top rail, brass mounts and three cut glass decanters with stoppers. The decanters are in superb order, with just one tiny inner rim chip and the stoppers each have minor chips to the stub ends. The brass fittings, lock and handle were originally nickel plated, but now are polished through to the brass and the lock plate is impressed "EPNS". The honey coloured oak has been cleaned and waxed, the brass has been polished and lacquered. All is complete and in good order. 	WMF 3 Bottle Tantalus T4 Original, quality 1920's, silver plated tantalus, with a locking top cover, the original key and the three original cut glass decanters with stoppers. The underside is stamped for the maker "WMF" and the top section beneath the carry handle is engraved "Presented To Major E.R. O'Connor M.C. by NCO's and Men of C.Coy, on His Retirement After 36 Years Service" and "The Kings Own", with the lion passant. Not a chip or any damage to the three cut glass decanters or stoppers and no rubbing to the silver plate, in fact all is in super order, a good bright finish and complete. Tantalus with Jewellery Drawer T3 Original, quality, late 19th century, tantalus with three matching hobnail cut glass mini decanters in a honey coloured oak stand, with a pull out jewel drawer with lock and key to the base. The bottle stand is mounted with a lockable swivel top and carry handle. The Bramah lock to one end is impressed with a crown and "Betjemanns Patent 45717" and the other end again with a crown and "The Tantalus". The drawer unit to the base is mounted with four decorative metal mounts and the drawer has a matching keyhole surround. All the metal mounts, the swivel top and locking mechanism were originally silver plated, but much has worn through, showing the brass from underneath these have now been lacquered. The jewellery drawer is fully lined in pale blue shot silk and royal blue velvet and has a ring section to the front. The key to the drawer and the key to the bramah lock are both replacements made to suit and the underside has the original pink velvet covering and a scruffy but legible label detailing instructions for use. A chip to one of the shoulders on one glass decanter, otherwise all is complete and in superb order and fully functional. Travelling 3 Fold Mirror M85 Original quality superb continental three fold vanity mirror, circa 1900/1920's. The main back frame is simulated bamboo carved in stained beech. The two wing mirrors have brass frames and black and gold coloured chinoiserie pictorial backing panels. The brass frames are decorated with a continuous embossed design and are marked "JB" and "Brevette". All the hinged joints are in brass and the wooden frame has a chain mounted to the top edge, for wall hanging. A superb travelling mirror, the best we have seen of this type and in super, clean, original condition. Folded flat 12" x 9.75" + 1" front to back, opened out 12" x 23" + 1.5" front to back. 	Old Father Time Brass Wall Calendar D7 Original quality, 1920's, pressed brass panel depicting Old Father Time sitting in a chair, holding a scythe in one hand and a sand timer in the other. 'Father Time' is embossed to the right hand corner and the three jars on the shelf are dated 1910, 1909 and 1908. A complete set of ivorine calendar panels is retained to the upper left hand corner, although some are a little faded. The whole panel has been fitted on a replacement oak board copied from the original. The panel was originally nickel plated on brass, but most of the plating has been lost over the years and is now a good brass finish which has been polished and lacquered. Witches Ball WB4 Original, quality, late 19th Century, blown glass, gold coloured, spherical shop decoration, referred to as a 'Witches Ball'. If you are superstituous these are said to have powers to frighten away witches and evil spirits. I am not superstituous so these are just decorative. This example has minor blemishes to the internal silvering, otherwise all is complete and in good order and still retains its original brass hanging ring and collar. 	General Foch Spelter Bust B1 Original, quality 1930's, continental spelter bust on a square green veined marble plinth. This example portrays 'General Foch' of the French Troops during World War One, with his uniform jacket and hat. The bust has an impressed signature "Coffin", to one side and the base has a brass plaque detailing "Foch 1851 - 1928". A super bust, in super condition and complete.
