Pair of Brass Door Handles DH836 A pair of original, quality, 18th Century or early 19th Century, decorated brass door knobs with a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit both mortice or rim locks and latches and replacement brass backplates made to suit. These very unusual handles have flower decoration to the outside flat rim, a fine beaded front edge and a Tudor rose design to the centre. 	Clear Glass Door Handle DH835 Original, quality, 1920's, single, moulded clear glass door knob on a replacement, circular, brass backplate made to suit. 	Pair of Period Brass Door Handles, Several Pairs Available DH792 A pair of original, quality, 18th or early 19th Century, cast brass, drop ring door handles, fitted with replacement brass backplates and a square steel bar, made to suit. These have been converted to fit both standard rim and mortice locks and latches. These handles were originally fitted by the blacksmith for each lock and door as required and, although we have converted these to fit standard locks and latches, we need to alter each bar and fitting in length to suit your door and lock measurements. So when ordering these handles, we require the measurements of the thickness of your door and, if a rim lock is fitted, the thickness of your lock also. When you receive the lock after our adjustment, it will fit your door and lock precisely. Other pairs of similar door handles should be available upon request. GWR Door Handle DH754 Original, quality, cast brass door handle with a segmented, circular form knob, circa 1900, on a large circular backplate with two countersunk screw holes for mounting and 'GWR' impressed to one edge for the Great Western Railway. This knob was originally on the inside of a railway carriage door, but would also fit a standard mortice or rim lock. A great piece of railway memorabilia; complete and in good and working order. 	Pair of Green Glass Door Handles DH741 A pair of original, quality, lime-green, cut glass and brass door knobs circa 1850 with a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit both standard mortice or rim locks and latches. Replacement brass backplates have been made to suit, each with two concealed countersunk screw holes for mounting. The brass shoulders of these knobs have fine machined, decorative bands and the lime-green mounts are faceted with inner circular panels of hobnail cuts. One backplate is a little smaller than the other and both have two countersunk screw holes for mounting. Unusual to find this shape in turning knobs these days.
