Huge Cast Iron Door Knocker DK208 Original, quality, 19th Century, large, continental, cast iron door knocker with extremely fine detail in the form of a drop loop knocker as a swag of curtains with flowers, beneath an oblong plaque area for engraving and with acanthus leaf decoration to the top and backplate. 	Brass Doctor's Door Knocker DK206 Original, quality, 1920's, cast pink brass, 'Doctor's' door knocker with the original knocking stud, but with replacement nuts and threaded bars. This model is hard to find today and is most unusual in pink brass. The reverse of the knocker has not been polished and shows the super green patination. Brass Horseshoe Door Knocker DK174 Original, quality, late 19th century cast brass door knocker in the realistic form of a horseshoe. The knocker is impressed with the lozenge shaped registration mark for 1842 to 1883 but the details are difficult to determine the actual year. A superb door knocker. The fine detail on this knocker is in the form of a pair of opposed winged sphinx, over a panel to be engraved with the name of the householder, over a swag as the knocking arm. This very unusual knocker is very Art Deco in form, with a brass knocking stud, sprung steel mechanism to the letter flap and the original mounting bolts. A very unusual combination; the only one we have seen. The pull bar and backplate are in the Art Nouveau style and the bell press has a ceramic push button. The registration number for the year 1922 is stamped to the reverse.
