Cast Iron Door Knocker DK164 Original quality, 1920's, cast iron door knocker of the dropped loop form with the original knocking stud, and replacement nuts and bolts. The reverse of the knocker is impressed "364" for the model number and "AK & Sons" for the maker, A.Kenrick and Sons of West Bromwich. 	Brass Letter Flap & Door Knocker DK163 Original quality cast brass letter flap with an integral door knocker. The side supports of the knocker are of the same form as the backplate to the letter flap; with replacement nuts and bolts have been fitted and all has been fully overhauled. The reverse is impressed with the registration number for the year 1907. A good chunky door knocker and letter flap with the knocker also useful as a door pull. W.T & S Brass Door Knocker DK162 Original quality, late 19th century, heavy cast brass door knocker with an integral vertical letter flap. The rectangular backplate is embossed with an overall pattern of sunflowers and leaves in the aesthetic movement style and the vertical letter flap has a matching sunflower stem and leaves. The heavy drop knocker also has similar designs embossed and the top rim of the backplate has 'Letters' in upper case. The reverse is marked 'W.T & S' for the manufacturer William Tonks & Son of Birmingham and has the reistration lozenge mark for the year 1882. The letter flap has a heavy weight to the rear instead of a spring return and replacement bolts and nuts have been fitted. All is complete and in good and working order. 	Brass Doctor's Door Knocker DK161 Original quality, early to mid 19th century, cast brass door knocker with the original knocking stud. This model is referred to as a 'Doctor's Knocker' and this one is a little different to the norm, for it has ribbing to the lower face of the knocker. A super example of a hard to find door knocker. Brass Doctor's Door Knocker DK156 Original quality cast brass door knocker, circa 1880/1900 of the form referred to as a 'Doctor's Knocker'. This example has a replacement backplate and matching knocking stud with a new threaded bar, nut and washer all made to suit. A good knocker of great proportions. 	Kenrick Cast Iron Door Knocker DK154 Original quality, 19th century, cast iron door knocker with a replacement cast iron knocking stud. This example has a drop loop style of knocker decorated with acanthus leaf designs and is impressed to the reverse with the model number '365' and 'A.Kenrick and Son' for the manufacturer from West Bromwich. Huge Cast Iron Door Knocker DK102 Original quality, 19th century, large cast iron door knocker, in the form of branches and leaves with an eagle with wings spread to the top. Replacement nuts and bolts and a new pin to the knocker pivot have been fitted. The fine detail on this knocker is in the form of a pair of opposed winged sphinx, over a panel to be engraved with the name of the householder, over a swag as the knocking arm. 	Huge Brass Letter Flap LF142 Original quality, 1920/30's, very large, cast brass letter flap with a plain outer frame and a punch decorated flap with 'Letters' in a large upper cased gothic form. The reverse is fitted with four replacement bolts with nuts and washers and all is complete and in good and working order. Originally chrome plated and now polished to the brass. A very unusual combination; the only one we have seen. The pull bar and backplate are in the Art Nouveau style and the bell press has a ceramic push button. The registration number for the year 1922 is stamped to the reverse. 	Post Office Brass Letter Slot LB27* Original quality, 1920's, heavy pink sheet brass posting box plate with a large aperture and 'Posting Box' inlaid in white enamel above. This would have been used on the outside of the larger post offices. This example has eight countersunk screw holes and is in super condition with no chips to the enamel inlay.
