Brass Rim Lock RL352 Original, quality, late 19th Century, superb, cast brass, surface mounted door lock, stamped to the end plate for the maker 'Comyn Ching and Co, Ltd'. This example has a shaped inner moulding, a detailed swinging keyhole cover and, although a replacement keep has been made to suit, this also has the inner moulding to match. Brass Rim Lock RL311 Original, quality, cast pink brass, surface mounted door lock circa 1900 / 1920's, with the original key, keep and one integral oval knob. A square bar is included to fit a standard mortice lock or latch. The key, keep and lock are all impressed with, 'Kaye, Leeds' for the maker, and both the lock and keep are also marked '93 High Holborn, London'. This heavy, brass lock and keep have shaped outer rims and line decoration, and is the first we have seen from this manufacturer. A great quality lock; complete and in good and working order.
