Horse Hoof Candlestick CS123 Original quality horse hoof mounted with a brass shoe and top mount engraved to the front 'Prudence 1912 to 1932'. This example has a match holder tub beneath the turned boxwood lid and a super silver plated candle stick. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. An unusual item of superb quality complete and in good and working order. Set of Brass Sliding Stable Door Lock and Handles RL417 Original, quality, late 19th century, pair of cast pink brass recessed and flushed door handles, with a rectangular backplate incorporating the keyhole and the original cast brass mortice lock A replacement pink brass keep made to suit and a replacement wrought iron key cut to fit. The lock mechanism is special and operates to lock the handles into position. The lock has two countersunk screw holes for mounting and each backplate of the handles has four and the keep has two. The faceplate is detailed "Smiths M101", "C & S", "264" and "Deritend Works, Birmingham". All has been fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. A most unusual lock set.
