	Musgraves Cast Iron Roof Vent Control, 2 Available HR70 Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, cast iron wall mounted plate, with a sliding boss decorated with a lion's mask encircled "Musgraves Patent, Belfast". The plate has four countersunk screw holes for mounting and is embossed "Open" to the top and "Closed" below. This fitting was the control slide to operate roof vents in stables and similar buildings. 'Musgraves' were manufacturers and suppliers of all stable and harness room equipment to the very best stable yards of top properties. Has been cleaned, lacquered and is complete and in good order. Tack Cleaning Hook HR66 Original, quality, late 19th century, galvanised wrought iron adjustable tack cleaning hook, for a harness room. This clean example has three hooks, not the normal four, a hanging hook at the top and three adjustment positions. Heavy Horse Martingale HB101 Original quality leather martingale as worn on heavy horses. This example has four matching pressed brass faceplates depicting the Royal Crown to commemorate the Coronation of King George V in 1912. Brass Haime Plate HB96 Original, quality, 1920's, cast brass, 'heavy horse' haime plate with three Suffolk Punch horses, mounted above the plain rectangular plate. Complete with the brass loops for the harness straps. This was worn on the leather straps holding the top of the haimes onto the collar. 	4 Commemorative Brass Martingale HB85 Original, quality superb leather heavy horse martingale with four commemorative brass faceplates, circa 1900. The two lower brasses were issued after the death of Queen Victoria and are engraved 'Victoria the Good 1819 - 1901' and the two upper brasses were to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902 and are engraved 'God Save the King Edward VII'. The leatherwork is in good order throughout and is fitted with two original brass buckles. A stunning set of brasses difficult to better. Complete and in good order. Coronation Brass Swinger HB48 Original quality cast brass heavy horse 'swinger' decoration worn on the saddle pad or on top of the bridle between the ears when dressed in 'Sunday best' harness. This example has the crown swinging within a circular frame and was issued to commemorate the coronation of King George V in 1912. This one has also been mounted on a brass stand of super quality to 'assist' its display (included). All is complete and in good order. Base 3" square and 4." high. 1925 RSPCA Horse Brass HB39 Original quality, cast brass, 'Heavy Horse', merit badge faceplate, presented by the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), at the London Van Horse Parade in 1925. The applied coat of arms is the standard nickel crest as on all of these brass awards. A good colour on the reverse, complete and in good order. 3.75" x 3" wide. 	Race Horse Trophy Leather Sash SG148 Original, quality, brown polished leather, neck sash mounted with fifteen nickel shields, each with engraved details. The leather is double thickness and stitched and has nickel buckles to the top to take the original joining strap. The central lower shield details 'Curio Winner of Above Prizes, The Only Horse Winner of Six Premiums in Succession' (1904 to 1909). Horse Brass Martingale HB7 Original quality, 19th century, heavy horse decoration with five original brasses on the original leather martingale. The leather has two straps to the top with brass buckles and one long strap to the lower end with an incomplete steel buckle. The top pair of brasses are of the 'diamond' motif, the next 'clubs' and the other two are of differing designs. Leather Donkey Collar and Haimes H44 Original, quality, late 19th Century, small, leather, pony or donkey, open topped collar with the original pair of beech and steel haimes with wrought iron tug hooks, rings and chains. 	Horse Muzzle H43 Original, quality, late 19th century, galvanised wire muzzle, with a leather covered outer ring and the original leather strap with steel buckle. The leather covering and the wirework is in super condition, but the strap is a little dry and stiff, otherwise all is complete and in good order. 2 Horse Hoof Trimming Knives H34 Two original, quality, unused horse hoof trimming knives in steel, with animal bone handles. These were issued by the War Department, for use by the mounted army officers during World War 1, 1914 - 1918. Marked for the makers: left 'F. G. Pearson & Co, Sheffield' and 'Best Shear Steel 1914', right 'D. A. Argyle & Co, Sheffield' and 'Best Shear Steel 1915'. Complete and in good order. 7.25" x 1". Price is for each. 	Horse Hair Singe H31 Original, quality late 19th Century, brass and copper horse hair singeing tool, fired by methylated spirit or paraffin, as stored in tubular handle. Pair of Brass Horse Haimes H30 A pair of original, quality late 19th Century brass haimes for a heavy carthorse. This superb pair are complete with the tug hearts and chains and acorn shaped finials. Each haime is impressed 'No 2', 'Patent Double Cased & Solid Brass' and have an impression of a dressed heavy horse on both the tug hearts and main shafts. 	Pair of Recessed Door Handles DH942 Pair of original, quality 1920's, recessed cast brass door handles for sliding or stable doors. These impressive handles have circular backplates with hinged 'D' shaped turning grips and are impressed to the front "Kingfisher Ltd, West Bromwich, Staffs" and "The Kingfisher Partitions" to the centre. Each backplate has four countersunk screw holes for mounting and a square steel bar is included to fit a standard mortice lock or latch. 	Horse Hoof Candlestick CS123 Original quality horse hoof mounted with a brass shoe and top mount engraved to the front 'Prudence 1912 to 1932'. This example has a match holder tub beneath the turned boxwood lid and a super silver plated candle stick. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. An unusual item of superb quality complete and in good and working order. Brass Watch / Pen Stand WS2 Original quality cast brass watch or pen stand, circa 1900, in the form of a horseshoe with four pairs of protruding nails, a central hook for suspending a pocket watch, a jockey hat finial to the top and a hinged easel backstand. Why a watch stand combined with a pen stand, I do not know, but a quirky desk accessory never the less. 	Horseshoe Shaped Coatrack CR60 Original, quality, late 19th century, carved oak coatrack in a horseshoe form, with a diamond shaped bevelled mirror to the centre and five cast iron hat or coathooks in the original bronzed finish. The mirror is a little smokey, but not damaged and all is complete and in good order. An unusual coatrack well worth looking into. Lignum Vitae Chog, 2 Available C6 Original, quality, late 19th Century, tethering chog turned in lignum vitae, as used to tether single grazing animals i.e. horse, goat or sheep. This would be used with a loose noosed chain or rope to keep the animal from choking. Cast Iron Air Vents, 2 Available AV10 Original, quality, late 19th century, heavy cast iron, circular air vents, with side slits and a domed top with an acorn finial. The uprights between the vents are embossed for the maker 'Ham Baker & Co Ltd, Westminster SW' and the base flange has four bolt holes. 	Set of Brass Sliding Stable Door Lock and Handles RL417 Original, quality, late 19th century, pair of cast pink brass recessed and flushed door handles, with a rectangular backplate incorporating the keyhole and the original cast brass mortice lock A replacement pink brass keep made to suit and a replacement wrought iron key cut to fit. The lock mechanism is special and operates to lock the handles into position. The lock has two countersunk screw holes for mounting and each backplate of the handles has four and the keep has two. The faceplate is detailed "Smiths M101", "C & S", "264" and "Deritend Works, Birmingham". All has been fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. A most unusual lock set.
