The deep relief detail is bordered with a rope twist design. The reverse has an impressed registration lozenge for the year 1862. WT&S Brass Fingerplate FP150 Original, quality, late 19th century, cast brass pierced door fingerplate of a rococco design, with a latticed centre surrounded by acanthus leaves. This very decorative example has four countersunk screw holes for mounting and the reverse is impressed with the registration number for the year 1891 and the sun logo and" WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham'. Art Nouveau Brass Fingerplate, 2 Available FP147 Original, quality, superb late 19th century, pressed brass door fingerplate, in a serious Art Nouveau style. This longer than average fingerplate is deeply embossed with a design of a tree, with exposed roots at the base and fruit and leaves to the top and with four pin holes for mounting.
