	Elwell Fireman's Axe FF29 Original, quality pre war wrought iron fireman's axe with the original ash handle. The axe head is marked to one side "Elwell 3122" and with the previous owner's numbers "11185". All is complete and in good order. 15.25" long x 7.5" widest. Copper Fire Extinguisher FF28 Original quality, 1920's, superb copper fire extinguisher with cast brass fittings and the original side hose. A clean example, has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost, but is not suitable for use. 21" tall x 7.75" base diameter. 	Chubb Fire Cabinet Name Plate FF27 Original, quality 1920's chromed on brass, shaped manufacturer's name plate detailing in embossed "Chubb by Royal Appointment, Fire Cabinet" and "London". Brass Fire Hose Nozzle FF26 Original, quality, cast brass, 'branch' from a fire fighting water hose with some dents and scratches consistent with use, but otherwise in good order. Impressed with the Royal cipher 'G R VI' beneath a crown for King George the sixth, '3/4' and a maker's stamp detailing 'Merryweather of Wolverhampton' and '1943'. Polished, lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost and complete and in good order. 11.5" x 3.25" widest. Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £65.00


	Brass Fire Hose Nozzle FF24 Original, quality, 1930's/40's, cast pink brass 'branch' from a fire fighting water hose, with some dents and many scratches consistent with use, but otherwise complete. Punched with various numbers, including '5/8' and '1744', all is polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost and otherwise in good order. 11.25" x 3" widest. The Underwriter Copper Fire Extinguisher FF20 Original quality, 1920's, superb copper fire extinguisher with cast brass fittings and brass labels. The side hose and nozzle are missing but otherwise all is in good order and has been polished and lacquered. The cast brass top circular handle is detailed 'Accurate Patent The Tea Tray Co of Newark N.J.' The profusion of brass labels give instruction for use in geat detail and the lower label 'Manufactured For The Underwriter Fire Appliances Ltd 30 Fleet St, London, England' and 'Made in USA'. 	McGregor & Co Copper & Brass Fire Hose Nozzle FF15 Original quality long cast brass and copper 'branch', circa 1900, from a fire fighting water hose. Has a few small dents and scratches consistent with use, but otherwise, complete and in good order. Stamped 'McGregor & Co, Dundee' to one lug for the maker and all of a good tapered pipe. Brass Fireman's Button FF4 Original quality pressed brass fireman's tunic button, circa 1900, with the crossed axe and the fireman's helmet above design. Stamped to the reverse 'Special Quality'. Complete and in good and working order. 1" diameter. Click on photo for a larger view. Price: £32.00


	Blue Glass Fire Grenade FG18 Original, quality, 1920's, spherical shaped, cobalt blue glass fire grenade, complete with the original infill to the spout and the original contents (often a solution of sodium bicarbonate). The whole grenade would be thrown onto a small domestic fire to extinguish the flames. No paper label but otherwise complete and in good order. 3" diameter and 3.75" high with neck. Hardens Star Fire Grenade FG16 Original quality cobalt blue glass fire grenade complete with the original infill to the spout and the original contents (often a solution of sodium bicarbonate). The whole grenade used to be thrown onto a small domestic fire to extinguish the flames. This example is embossed to the central band "Hardens Star Hand Grenade Fire Extinguisher", has a 'star' logo embossed to the front and the registration number for the year 1884 to the underside. This is not the rarest version, but one of the most spectacular looking. All is complete and in good order. 7" tall and 4" diameter. Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £135.00

Prudential Assurance Plaque NP141 Original, quality 1920's sheet pink brass nameplate detailing in white enamel inlaid letters "The Prudential Assurance Co Ltd" and "Life, Fire, Accident". This example has four corner countersunk screw holes, has been mounted on an oak backboard made to suit, and can be hung on the wire or screwed to the wall using the two holes provided. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Complete and in good order. Backboard 9.25" x 14.5" + 1" front to back. 	Insurance Broker Name Plaque NP140 Original, quality, late 19th century, sheet brass name plate engraved with details "T.E. Paull Insurance Broker" infilled with red and black.This example has four corner countersunk screw holes, has been mounted on a mahogany backboard made to suit, and can be hung on the wire or screwed to the wall using the two holes provided. Norwich Union Firemark FM13 Original, quality, unused, pressed tin firemark issued by the Norwich Union Assurance Co, circa 1900/1920's. Transfer printed colour with some rub marks, but otherwise in mint condition. The detail and name is embossed with a central seated blindfolded figure holding scales of justice, sword and a shield depicting hands shaking in agreement or friendship. 10.5" x 8.75".
