The Underwriter Copper Fire Extinguisher FF20 Original quality, 1920's, superb copper fire extinguisher with cast brass fittings and brass labels. The side hose and nozzle are missing but otherwise all is in good order and has been polished and lacquered. The cast brass top circular handle is detailed 'Accurate Patent The Tea Tray Co of Newark N.J.' The profusion of brass labels give instruction for use in geat detail and the lower label 'Manufactured For The Underwriter Fire Appliances Ltd 30 Fleet St, London, England' and 'Made in USA'. Hardens Star Fire Grenade FG16 Original quality cobalt blue glass fire grenade complete with the original infill to the spout and the original contents (often a solution of sodium bicarbonate). This example is embossed to the central band "Hardens Star Hand Grenade Fire Extinguisher", has a 'star' logo embossed to the front and the registration number for the year 1884 to the underside. Descours Firewatcher Glass Fire Grenade FG6 Original quality, spherical, clear glass fire grenade, circa 1900, with the contents and with the paper label detailing 'Descours & Co 63 Queen Victoria St London EC Patent', a phoenix logo and 'Firewatcher Hand Grenade and Automatic Extinguisher'. The original red painted wire hanging loop is intact and the remains of the red wax seal has an imprint of a phoenix.
