Cast Iron Rain Hopper RH12 Original, quality, late 19th Century, cast iron, rainwater hopper of an unusual form. The outside edges are trimmed with a rope twist bead, the mounting flanges to the back each have two screw holes, the front has a central raised panel of flowers and leaves and the sides each have a tudor rose. The inside rear panel is embossed for the manufacturer: 'G. P. Bankart, 58c Grays Inn Road, London WC, Head No 304', and with the registration number for the year 1907. Complete and in good and working order, just needing a clean and a coat of paint. 18" wide at rear, 10.5" at front, 13.5" tall body and 19" tall including pipe, 3" down pipe aperture and 6.5" front to back. 	Large Cast Iron Rain Hopper RH8 Original, quality, late 19th century, large cast iron rain hopper of a breakfront design with two pierced rosette shaped mounting flanges and an embossed detail for a Glasgow maker. This hopper will take a regular down pipe with an inside measurement of 4" x 3". A good looking hopper. Rectangular Cast Iron Rain Hoppers, 5 available RH6 Original, quality rectangular shaped, cast iron rain hoppers, circa 1880. These plain examples have a beaded edge to the top and bottom and two side flanges, each with two holes for mounting. Four of these rain hoppers will take downpipes with an inside diameter of 3.25" and one with an inside diameter of 4.25". A good run of useful hoppers and apart from needing a strip and repaint all are complete and in good and working order. 23" wide, 12" high including down piece and top aperture 18" x 5.5". 	Graft GH82 Original, quality, 1920's, blacksmith made, wrought iron graft with the original ash shaft and 'T' bar handle. The ironwork is marked 'England' and the shaft is branded for the previous owner 'FWR'. A great looking graft with extra shoe supports; the best we have had. Billhook GH79 Original, quality, pre-war, wrought iron billhook with the original shaped wooden handle and steel ferrule. 	Pair of Secateurs in Leather Case GH76 Original, quality, late 19th Century, superb, steel, continental secateurs in the original leather pouch, stamped 'G. C.' for the previous owner and with a shoulder strap. These elegant secateurs have cow horn covers to the hand grips, a super coiled spring, brass fittings and are marked 'Guienne', 'Made in France', 'Brevette' and 'S O G D 604_889'. 	Hot Water Can WC3 Original quality, 19th century, all copper hot water can, over painted in wood grain finish paintwork with red lining to the edges and "Hot Water" in black to the top. The underside is impressed "6", "H.F& Co" and "All Copper". An unusual hot water can with some knocks and chips to the paintwork but all is original and complete and in good and working order. 11.5" tall x 5.5" wide, including handle and spout 12.5". Staddle Stone, several usually available SST1 Original quality, 19th century or older, two piece staddle stone in Bath stone. A good selection is normally available in stock, nicely coloured and weathered and most with lichen and mosses to the top and some sides. These two piece stones were originally used to support timber built corn store buildings, to keep air circulating beneath and hence the damp out and the 'lid' would keep out rats and mice etc. These buildings would always have lift-off steps which were hooked up on the side wall when not in use, hence no access for vermin. The stones vary in size but generally are 26" to 30" tall, 18" to 22" wide cap, 16" to 20" wide at foot of base. Some have a square base and some rectangular, all tapering to the top. All are complete and in good order and separate pictures of particular stones can be forwarded if required. Price is for each two piece staddle stone. Click on photo for larger view. Price: £265.00


	Toogood Silver Trophy G16 Original, quality, silver Toogood Championship shield, circa 1910, mounted on a green velvet covered, shaped backboard with an easel backstand. The reverse is covered in a black leather look paper, with a diamond design and has a small ring for hanging if required. The hallmarked silver shield has embossed detail of vegetables to the left, flowers to the right and a lion leaning on a world globe to the top. The inscription reads 'Toogood Championship Shield Presented by Toogood & Sons Southampton, Seedsmen to The King and for 50 Years to The Late Queen Victoria'. There is also space for an inscription under 'Won by', but this example was never engraved and presumably never presented. Although the green velvet pile has rubbed away on much of the front of the backboard, the silver shield and the reverse of the backboard is in excellent condition and is complete and in good order. Copped Hall Grape Storage Bottle 3 available G11 Original, quality, green glass grape storage bottle, circa 1880, embossed to the top surface "Copped Hall Grape Storage Bottle patent applied for No 25693" and "W.Wood and Son Ltd Wood Green" These were used on shelves in the garden store filled with charcoal and water. Bunches of grapes would be cut and stored with the stem in the front upturned aperture and the water was topped up through the top aperture retained with a cork stopper. Some minor chips but otherwise in superb condition and very clean and clear. Not easy to find these days. 12.5" x 2.5" x 3.5" tallest. Price is for each. Blacksmith Made Wrought Iron Gate G1 Original quality, 19th century, blacksmith made wrought iron gate, made of flat steel bar. It has a mounting eye on the main bar with a downward pin at the bottom to fit into a recess. Doulton Crown Top Chimney CP33 Original, quality, late 19th Century, coffee coloured, glazed crown top chimney with six points to the crown and impressed 'Doulton & Co 78'. Tall Terracotta Chimney CP26 Original, quality, superb, very tall 19th century hand thrown terracotta chimney of tubular form with a raised decoration beneath the top rim. Spade Boot Scraper BS14 Original quality, 1920's, wrought iron boot scraper with an ash 'T' handle on shaft. 	Cast Iron Gryphons Bootscraper BS4 Original quality, 19th century, cast iron bootscraper of the pan type with a pair of opposing mythical birds of the gryphon style. The figures are cast in 2 halves and fixed together retaining the scraping plate. The base has 4 holes presumably 2 for drainage and 2 for fixing. Complete and in good and working order. 	Stone Sink SS30 Original, quality, 19th Century or earlier, long, shallow stone sink with two curved corners to the front and a large circular drain hole. There are some horizontal layer cracks to the sides near the base, but otherwise all is complete and in good order and with a super weathered colour. This sink is stood on two staddle stone bases and the sink can be sold with or without the bases. Sink 54" x 21" x 6.5" tall external and 49" x 15.5" x 4" internal and 31" tall including bases. 	Terracotta Salting Pan FB3 Original quality, 19th century, oval shaped terracotta salting pan with end grips and a glazed interior. Turnip Knife AT1 Original quality, 19th Century, blacksmith made turnip knife, with a turned ash handle, a steel ferule and a turned spike to the blade. 	Gentleman's Hand Axe A1 Original, late 19th Century, superb, small hand axe of the utmost quality, in the original leather case with a belt loop. This steel tomahawk style axe has a wedge shaped blade, a solid hammer behind and is mounted with a steel plate shaft, with rosewood side covers and checkered hand grips. A short split in the grain to one side of the wooden grip, between two of the three rivets, is the only fault I can find. Run of Stable Floor Blocks, 37 Available GE2 Original, quality, circa 1900, grey stoneware floor blocks with a diamond pattern impressed to the top and a large 'K' to the underside. 	Royal Potteries Terracotta Garden Urn GU1 Original quality large red terracotta two piece 'Campana' shaped garden urn, stood on a later reconstituted cast stone pedestal. The inside of the urn is impressed '86' and for the maker 'Royal Potteries, Weston Super Mare', and the urn will separate at the neck. Both pieces have the remains of a greyish masonry type paint to the outside, although the red terracotta does show through and the interior is just a dusty colour from the recently removed soil. This urn has remained in the same family and in the same large conservatory in Weston Super Mare since it was purchased new around 1900/1910. The vase of the urn is sat upon the neck and a section of scaffold pipe is pushed through to assist, for the small male peg on the base of the urn has broken off, but is still wedged in the lower section, see picture. Both the side loop handles are missing, but the pair of heads to each side, originally beneath the loop handles, are still intact. Marble Topped Pub Table F135 Original, quality cast iron pub table base, circa 1900, with an off white and veined circular marble top with a bevelled edge. The round, cast iron base has three supports, a central adjoining shelf and has the figure of Bodicea with a shield of the Union Jack to the legs, each with a lions paw to the foot. The cast iron table has been cleaned and stove enamelled black. All is complete and in good and working order. A superb pub table or occasional table, ideal for indoor or outdoor use.
