Holcroft 16 Pint Cast Iron Kettle K36
Original quality huge, unused, 16 pint cast iron kettle with the original tinsmith made lid with a brass makers label detailed 'Holcroft & Sons Wolverhampton'. This model was produced up until the early 1930's and this example is embossed to one side 'Holcroft' and 'No 8, 16 Pints'. This truely has not been used, the inside, apart from a few brown marks, is just like the day it was made. A great, very usable kettle. The largest Holcroft we have seen. Holcroft always supplied their cast iron kettles with tin lids, and note, all the handles had a pin to the inside of the back end to prevent the lid from falling off when the kettle was tilted to pour. The handles were invariably shaped cast iron handles and not wrought iron or steel. 9.5" base diameter, 15.5" wide including spout and 14.5" high including handle.
