The adjustable feet and various other fittings attached are also in brass, the food slab is in white ceramic with a crest for W&T Avery applied and the same crest appears on one panel of the central upright section. The base unit is marked in green paint 'White Knight' to both sides, 'To weigh 10lb' and 'British Made at Birmingham, England' to the other. The china slab has several chips to the underside and the enamel to the body has a few chips here and there, but generally this scale is very bright and clean, complete and in good and working order.
