	Copper Cookpot with Lid CP58 Original, quality 18th or early 19th Century, bellied shaped, oval copper cookpot with the original copper lid and wrought iron swing handle. This cookpot has good dovetailed seams and wrought iron fittings, has been polished and lacquered with some old repairs to the lid. All is now complete and in good order. 11" front to back, 13" wide including wrought iron mounts, 11" high including lid and 16" high with handle up. Click on photo for larger and other views. Copper Cookpot CP57 Original, quality 1920's heavy gauge copper, rectangular shaped cookpot in a hammered finish, with two good side handles and good tinning to the interior. The maker's details are impressed to one side 'Benham & Sons Ltd. 66 Wigmore St. London'. Alas the lid is missing, but otherwise all is complete, polished and lacquered and in good and working order. 	Copper Cookpot with Lid CP56 Original, quality 18th or early 19th Century, bellied shaped oval copper cookpot with the original copper lid and wrought iron swing handle. The oval is really fishing basket (creel) shaped and most unusual. This splendid pot is very pitted, but without holes, has good dovetailed seams and wrought iron fittings. Has been polished and lacquered and is complete and in good order. 15" wide including wrought iron mounts, 10.5" front to back, 10" high to top of lid and 15" high with handle up. Copper Cookpot CP54 Original, quality early 19th Century or earlier, large oval shaped copper cookpot, with lid and a blacksmith made wrought iron swing over handle. The lid has a strap handle to the centre and the pot has good dovetailed seams to one side and the base. Although a little pitted, this is probably the best copper cookpot of this age that we have had, and quite a big one too. Has been polished and lacquered, has no holes or dents and is in super condition. 19" wide x 14.5" high including lid, 19" high with handle up and 11" wide. Click on photo for larger and other views. 	Large Copper Stockpot with Lid CP50 Original quality large, late 19th century, deep circular copper stockpot with side loop cast brass handles and the original lid with a wide overlapping rim and strap handle. The tinning to the interior is in super condition and the handle of the lid is stamped "17". All has been polished, lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. 15" tall including handle x 17.5" wide including side handles, pan 12" diameter + 12" deep. Copper Cookpot CP32 Original quality early 19th century, bellied circular copper cookpot with brass mounts and a wrought iron swing handle. The exterior is fairly pitted but good dove tail seams are visible, and a repair has been braized to a split in the bottom. 	Cast Iron Grilling Iron KI.77 Original, quality late 19th Century, cast iron grilling iron with an enamelled top and catching scoop, fitted with a tapered tubular steel handle. The underside has three legs sloping towards the fat catching scoop. The reverse is impressed 'A. K & Sons 12B' for the manufacturer A. Kenrick and Sons, of West Bromwich. Pair of Game Skewers KI.75 A pair of original, quality late 19th Century, silver plated game skewers of plain form, with just a finger grip ring to the top. 	Skewer Rack KI.74 Original, quality 19th Century, cast iron hanging hook for meat skewers, usually hung on the chimney breast. Enterprise Raisin Stoner KI.72 Original, quality late 19th Century cast iron raisin stoner, with a table clamp, an adjustment for cutting and a side mounted handle. The main stem is embossed for the maker 'Enterprise Manufacturing Co, Phil'a USA', and with the patent date of 'October 5th 1897' to one side and to the other 'No 38' and 'Wet the Raisins'. 	Mini Aluminium Saucepan K165 Original, quality, pre war, miniature cast aluminium saucepan with a brass handle. Impressed to the inside of the base 'Guaranteed Thickness of Our Patented Series', 'Weight B O R at least 42/5 lbs', and to the outside of the base 'Made in France'. Slipware Dish KI.54 Original quality, 19th century, glazed terracotta slipware baking dish with a coffee brown glaze to the inner surface and over the top edges. It has a central divider and cream coloured slip decorations to the inner surface. Many chips to the slip decorations and to the glazing overall, but no chips, cracks or damage to the terracotta dish itself. A super large baking dish in super order. 18" x 14.75" x 3.25". 3 Piece Pewter Tea Set TP7* Original quality, 1920's, three piece matching, hammered pewter teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl in a distinctive style. The teapot has the original red bakelite handle and the knob to the hinged lid. All of the three pieces are stamped to the underside 'Period Pewter' and '421' and have a manufacturer logo 'F&C' in a block. A very clean three piece set of an unusual design. 	3 Piece Silver Plated Tea Set TP6* Original quality, three piece silver plated on hard metal, tea service, circa 1900/20's, comprising teapot, milk jug and sugar basin. These ovoid shaped items, of small proportions, each have a rope twist decoration to the top rim and all are marked to the underside for the maker 'The Alex Clark Manf Co, Fenchurch St London'. The teapot has an ebony side handle and knob to the hinged lid. A very clean set with some wear to the plate at the bottom of the pouring spout, but no dents in sight and all is complete and in good and working order. Teapot 9.5" x 4" x 5" high. Large Doulton Teapot TP1 Original quality large, two tone, stoneware teapot and lid, manufactured 1895 to 1905, with white relief figured topers, a tree, a windmill, horses with riders and hounds chasing a stag, around the main body, a circle of hounds around the top rim and a garland of flowers on the lid. The underside of the pot is impressed '1403' 'Doulton Lambeth England'. This example is punch engraved to one side 'Mutton, Brighton' and also engraved 'G.P.B', all presumably for previous owners. This pan has some old repairs and would require re-tinning, if required for use, otherwise a great looking pan of great quality, polished and lacquered. 	Bellied Copper Saucepan SP89 Original, quality, mid 19th Century, bellied shaped copper saucepan with the original fitted lid and mahogany side handle. This super little saucepan is not marked with a maker's name, but it looks the quality of Benham and Froud. 	Bronze Skillet SP87 Original, quality, 17th or early 18th century, cast bronze skillet, a transitional saucepan from a cookpot on 3 legs. These were ofter cast at bell foundries and this example is in "Latten" the bronze material. The handle is embossed "Love thy neighbour" and has an old repair using three copper rivets fitting the handle to the bowl. Bronze Skillet SP86 Original, quality, 17th century or early 18th century cast bronze skillet, a transitional saucepan from a cookpot on three legs. These were often cast at bell foundries and this one is in 'Latten' the bronze material. This example is embossed "Ye Wages of Sin are Death" to the handle and has two old repairs where the legs meet the base of the pan. 	Bronze Skillet SP85 Original, quality, 17th century or early 18th century cast bronze skillet, a transitional saucepan from a cookpot on three legs. These were often cast at bell foundries and this one is in 'Latten' the bronze material. This example is embossed "Wasborough" to the handle and has more wear to two legs than the other, a good example in super condition colour colour and is complete and in good order otherwise. 18.75" including handle 8.25" tall + 8.5" top diameter. Adams & Son, 57 The Haymarket, Ironmongers to the Queen' for the retailer and the lid is impressed 'M.B' for a previous owner. 	Siddons Square Cast Iron Saucepan SP76 Original, quality square shaped, two pint cast iron saucepan, circa 1900/20's, in the flecked grey enamelled finish. 	Copper Fish Kettle FK2 Original, quality 1920's, heavy copper, three piece, long, narrow fish kettle with the original lid and lift out perforated liner. The pan has heavy, cast brass lifting handles to each end and one for the lid and very good tinning to the inside throughout. The lid is impressed in upper case 'G. P. H'. 	Grimwades Oval Storage Jar SJ68 Original, quality, oval shaped, off white ceramic kitchen storage jar with green printing and decoration, manufactured by Grimwades. The base has 'Sugar' with a laurel wreath with ribbon beneath, a beaded pattern under the top rim and is detailed to the underside with line drawings and details of other Grimwade items, the pie dish and pudding bowl, and the registration number for the year 1909. The lid also has a beaded decoration to the top outside edge, a central flower design and is detailed to the underside 'Hygienic Household Jar, Note Its Merits, Oval Shape, Rounded Interior, Cover that serves As Scoop So That Contents Need Not Be Touched By Hand' and 'Registration Number 550735' for the year 1909. The lid is perfect and the jar is without cracks or chips, but is rather stained in places inside and out. An exciting item nevertheless, for the more unusual Grimwade items are hard to find today. W.Bullock & Son Sugar Cutter SC5* Original quality early, 19th century, cast iron sugar cutter, manufactured by W.Bullock & Co, with a replacement lignum vitae grip and brass ferrule, both copied from the original. A circular brass plaque is fixed to the top of the base detailing the maker, 'Patent' and the registration lozenge mark for the year 1843. The same details are also cast into the underside of the base. The cast iron base is rather pitted and has been repainted and now all is complete and in good and working order. 	T&C Clark & Co Coffee Grinder CG25* Original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron coffee grinder with a brass hopper and label, a pull ot drawer to the base at the front and a turned hardwood knob to the cranked cast iron handle. The brass label details 'T&C Clark & Co' for the manufacturer and 'Awarded A Silver Medal in Paris in 1878'. The side lugs enable the grinder to be fixed to a shelf or a table. The grind can be adjusted with a screwdriver from the underside when the drawer is removed. The wooden knob and the brass hopper are both replacements copied from originals. All has been fully overhauled, cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. Base 6" x 6", 8.5" high including handle and 8.5" wide including handle. T&C Clark Coffee Grinder CG17* Original quality, 19th century, very decorative cast iron coffee mill. Quite the prettiest we have had to date. Impressed in script to the underside 'T&C Clark Registered Feb 17 1842 No 1100'. The cast iron body, the pull out drawer and the cranked handle, all have acanthus leaf decoration in deep relief and the oval brass plate to the front has a Royal Coat of Arms and details 'T&C Clarke & Co Improved Coffee Mill'. The original brass knob to the drawer and the turned extoic hardwood knob to the grinding handle are both in good order. The two side lugs, in a rope twist design, were to secure the grinder to the shelf or table and the grind can be adjusted by using a screw driver through the aperture underneath with the drawer, when out. The original finish is long gone I'm afraid, for this was painted in a later cream paint, which has been removed and it has been finished in a coat of clear lacquer. Last, but not least, the original brass hopper was badly corroded and beyond repair, so we have fitted a replacement bowl made to suit copied from the original. Overall a super very early, very usable cast iron coffee grinder. Base 6.75" wide including lugs, 5.75" front to back, 7.75" high including knob and 9" wide including handle. 	York Minster Font Coffee Grinder CG15* Original quality, 19th century, cast iron, table model, coffee grinder manufactured by A Kenrick & Sons of West Bromwich. Modelled on the font in York Mister Abbey. This example has the original finish still to the underside, the original inner tray and turned hardwood knob grip. All has been cleaned, fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. A replacement locking spring catch has been fitted, copied from an original. The underside is impressed 'AK & Sons' for the manufacturer and the registration number for the year 1894. A very hard to find coffee grinder, in superb order. Brass Spit Bracket SB14 Original, quality, late 19th century, cast brass "Bottlejack" (clockwork spit) bracket with a lock on and off system. This example has a shaped top edge to hold the spit at a variable distance from the fire. The lower pin of the bar, located into the backplate is square above round and enables the locking system to work. The backplate has six countersunk screw holes for mounting on the mantel shelf above the fire. Complete and in good and working order. 	Brass Spit Bracket SB9* Original quality, late 19th century, cast brass bottlejack (clockwork spit) bracket with a lock on and off system. Grimwades "Lentils" Storage Jar SJ62* Original quality, 1920's, Grimwades white ceramic storage jar with hoops in relief and a lift off lid, etched to the front is "Lentils". This example is the smallest of seven sizes manufactured and is transfer detailed to the underside of the base and the lid. Under the base it reads in green "The Grimwades Hooped Household jar supplied in 7 sizes 4.5" inch to 10.5", Sago, Rice, Tapioca, Raisins, Currants, Flour, Meal, Salt, Sugar, Peas, Oatmeal, Barley, Sultanas and Lentils". The underside of the lid details an advert for the Grimwades patent quick cooker bowl. Both pieces are perfect and complete and in good order. 4.5" base x 5.75" tall. There is an underglaze chip to the front of the base, a proper chip towards the back and it does sound rather dull to the tap, otherwise all is complete. 	Day & Millward 12" Ceramic Scale Plate S115 Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, heavy, circular, glazed white ceramic scale plate, as used with weighing groceries, cold meats and dairy goods on a counter beam scale. This slab, with not a chip or crack in sight, is unusual in that it has red transfer decoration and not black. The detail show the scales of justice to the centre with a Royal Coat of Arms above and 'Day & Millward Patentees Birmingham'. The glazing to the top surface is rather worn and the outer edge does have a few brown rub marks, but otherwise, a sensational scale slab. 12" diameter x 0.5". Avery Shop Counter Scales S95* Set of original, quality, 1920's, grocer's shop counter scales manufactured by W&T Avery Ltd. The main body is in white enamel on cast iron with a fan shaped centre section glazed to each side with the moving needle inside. For weighing below 1lb the dial is to be read and for above 1lb, weights need to be added accordingly to the brass slab. The adjustable feet and various other fittings attached are also in brass, the food slab is in white ceramic with a crest for W&T Avery applied and the same crest appears on one panel of the central upright section. The base unit is marked in green paint 'White Knight' to both sides, 'To weigh 10lb' and 'British Made at Birmingham, England' to the other. The china slab has several chips to the underside and the enamel to the body has a few chips here and there, but generally this scale is very bright and clean, complete and in good and working order. This scale looks like a boring 'Shop Fan Scale', but this example is earlier, better quality and much more interesting than most similar scales, and still has the customs and excise impressed lead stamp to the central section. Set of Domestic Scales and Weights S55* Set of original quality, late 19th century, cast iron domestic scales, with the original steel pan, and a full set of matching weights standing to the front of the scale base. Much of the original paintwork has been retained and all has been fully overhauled, cleaned and lacquered. The six original cast iron weights are from 7lb. down to 4oz., with a 2oz. and 1oz. flat brass weight. The whole can be lifted and carried by using the ring grip to each side. The inside of the steel pan is discoloured and a little pitted, but it has no holes and the set of scales overall is very usable for the kitchen. 	Enamelled Electric Stove S5 Original, quality, 1940's, grey flecked, enamelled electric stove, manufactured by the 'Jackson Electric Stove Co'; in amazing condition. This stove was working well when disconnected in 2010. The main oven has three removable wire shelves and the top oven has an aluminium toasting tray. The top surface has one circular and one rectangular hotplate and a fold down, white enamelled splashback. All the bakelite handles and switches are in good order and, apart from one minor corner chip to the grey flecked enamel side, all is complete and in superb order, but not sold as working. 36" high to work surface and 9" splashback when up, 20.5" wide and 17.5" front to back. 	Large Banded Jug J44 Original, quality, large, white ceramic bellied shaped water jug, with embossed simulated barrel staves and hoops and a vine leaf to the underside of the pouring lip. Although this jug looks to be mid 19th Century, it has the cipher of King George VI in green to the front, '1940' and 'Bovery Pottery Ltd' to the underside. As stunning as it is, this jug is damaged; it has two short hairline cracks from the top, a star crack to the base and a large chip glued back in on the rim of the base, otherwise complete and a great looker. Ceramic items with these Royal ciphers were generally from Government or Royal establishments for staff use, but not for the Royalty to use themselves.10.25" high, 8.25" diameter and 11.5" widest including handle. 	Set of 5 Doulton Harvest Jugs J35 Set of five original quality two tone, glazed harvest jugs in graduated sizes, manufactured by Doulton & Co Lambeth and all impressed to the front 'Mr and Mrs Dunn June 11th 1905'. Each jug is two tone with dark glaze to the upper half and buff coloured to the lower and all are decorated with applied reliefs of gents drinking and smoking and of a horse with a rider and hounds chasing a stag. All are complete and the largest and smallest are perfect but the other three do have some damage which does not detract from their appearance. The largest of the three with some damage has a star crack to the front, hardly visible. The second has a chip and short hairline to the top rim and a horizontal hairline to the front and the third has chips to the rim only. All the decoration and the glaze otherwise is perfect, sharp and bright. The underside is impressed with an oval mark detailing 'Doulton & Co Lambeth'. Loveridge Milk and Sugar Bowl Set J22* Original quality pressed brass milk/cream jug and sugar bowl with lid. Impressed to the underside of both with a large registration lozenge mark for '24th Jan 1881', 'The Pekin' and 'Henry Loveridge & Co'. The lid, with its turned ebony knob, may well be from the teapot of the set, which is sadly not available. H.Loveridge & Co was a respected manufacturer in Wolverhampton, famous for its metal ware and papier mâché household ware and produced items designed by Dr Christopher Dresser. This pair does have an Arts & Crafts feel about them. Both items have good tinning to the interior, are free of any dents and are perfect. 	Benson Copper Ice Bucket / Soup Tureen IB4* Original quality, 1920's, copper ice bucket with an enamelled white interior to the bucket and lid, with brass side handles and knob to the lid. The underside of the handles are impressed 'W.A.S. Benson Patent'. The white enamel lining has a few very minor chips and rub marks but otherwise all is in superb order.
