	Copper Confectioners Pan SP70 Original quality, late 19th century, circular copper confectioners pan with a flat bottom to the centre, a good large pouring lip and the original turned wooden handle to the side. The handle is nicely riveted to the bowl with a triangular mount and the bowl is engraved to the outside for a previous owner "K.A.R." in upper case. Copper Saucepan with Lid SP69 Original quality, 19th century, bellied shaped copper saucepan with a tapered tubular wrought iron side handle and a copper lid with a strap handle. The handle to the lid is stamped '2', probably for the size two pints. The tinning is good to the inside as are the dovetailed seams and all is complete and in good and working order. 	Small Copper Saucepan SP66 Original quality, 1920's, small copper saucepan with a wrought iron handle. 	Bellied Copper Saucepan SP62 Original quality, early to mid 19th century, super bellied copper saucepan with a large pouring lip good dovetailed seams and the original turned rosewood side handle with a heart shaped copper mount. Bellied Copper Saucepan SP61 Original quality, early to mid 19th century, super bellied copper saucepan with a large pouring lip, good dovetailed seams and the original turned ebony side handle with a heart shaped copper mount. The handle has some interesting holes that were probably bored by insects before the wood was turned into a handle. There is a very faint mark to the underside for the manufacturer 'Benham and Froud of London' all is complete and superb condition. Complete and in good order. 	Brass Saucepan SP60 Original quality, early 19th century, cast and spun brass saucepan with a super blacksmith made wrought iron side handle. The joining mount of the wrought iron handle to the pan is crescent shaped and is fixed with two copper rivets. Has been polished and lacquered. A very unusual example, complete and in good and working order, a matching larger one may be available, code SP59. 5" top diameter, 2.75" tall and 14" x 4.5" including handle. Benham & Son Copper Saucepan SP57 Original quality, late 19th century, copper saucepan with a turned ebony side handle, a heart shaped copper mount from the handle to the pan and a large sparrow's beak pouring lip to the front. The handle mount is stamped '5 1/2', the pan has the orb and cross logo for Benham & Froud the manufacturer, to the underside the buckle and belt design logo for 'Benham & Sons of Wigmore Street London' to one side. This pan appears not to have been tinned on the inside. All is complete and in good and working order and an unusual shaped saucepan. Copper Cookpot CP47 Original quality, 18th or early 19th century, circular, bellied shaped, copper cookpot with a blacksmith made wrought iron swing handle. With a good dove tailed seam to the underside. All has been polished and lacquered and is a super example. I do not suggest you use it for cooking for it may well be a little thin in places, but htere are no apparent holes and no major dents. 10.5" tall with handle down, 18" tall with handle up and 16" wide. 	Circular Copper Cookpot CP36 Original quality, 18th or early 19th century, circular, bellied copper cookpot with a wrought iron swing handle. This pot is in the original patina finish, but could be polished to a bright copper finish if required. Although complete and of a good shape, there are many small wear holes to the bottom edge and therefore this pot would be for display only, otherwise complete and in good order. 9.5" high with handle down, 18." high with handle up, and 15.5" widest. Copper Cookpot CP32 Original quality early 19th century, bellied circular copper cookpot with brass mounts and a wrought iron swing handle. The exterior is fairly pitted but good dove tail seams are visible, and a repair has been braized to a split in the bottom. 	Copper Stockpot with Lid CP20 Original quality, 18th or early 19th century, bellied copper cookpot, with the original tinsmith made copper lid and blacksmith made wrought iron swing handle. Considerable wear to the iron handle and side loops and pitting to the body, but surprisingly this cookpot is in amazing condition, with no holes or damage. The original patinated finish has been retained but can be polished if required. Complete and in good and working order. 15" wide including side loops, 9.5" front to back, 10.5" tall including lid. 	Copper Roasting Spit Drip Pan CP48 Original quality, 19th century, oval shaped copper drip pan with ring handles rivetted to each end. This was used to catch the fat beneath a clockwork spit when roasting. A very unusual copper pan and apart from being well used, pitted and scratched it is in super condition. 22.5" including handles x 14.5" and pan depth 2" and 4.5" tall including handle. Set of 5 Doulton Harvest Jugs J35 Set of five original quality two tone, glazed harvest jugs in graduated sizes, manufactured by Doulton & Co Lambeth and all impressed to the front 'Mr and Mrs Dunn June 11th 1905'. Each jug is two tone with dark glaze to the upper half and buff coloured to the lower and all are decorated with applied reliefs of gents drinking and smoking and of a horse with a rider and hounds chasing a stag. All are complete and the largest and smallest are perfect but the other three do have some damage which does not detract from their appearance. The largest of the three with some damage has a star crack to the front, hardly visible. The second has a chip and short hairline to the top rim and a horizontal hairline to the front and the third has chips to the rim only. All the decoration and the glaze otherwise is perfect, sharp and bright. The underside is impressed with an oval mark detailing 'Doulton & Co Lambeth'. A super set of jugs, great lookers and really in lovely condition considering. Tall 7.25", 6.5", 5.75", 5.25" and 3". Price is for the set. Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £600.00


	Tin Guernsey Dairy Jug J34 Original quality, 1920's, tinsmith made spherical tin dairy jug peculiar to Guernsey and referred to as a 'Guernsey Milk Jug'; a super bit of tinsmiths work. These are normally found in copper and this is the first we have seen in tin. Some very minor dents otherwise complete and in good order. 9.5" tall x 6.5" wide and 8" wide including side handle. 2 Pint Stoneware Jug J37* Original quality, 1920's, two tone glazed stoneware two pint jug with a shaped pouring lip, a waisted neck and a side strap handle. Impressed below the handle "2 pint" and for the maker "Buchan of Portobello Scotland". A super looking jug. Complete and in good order. 7.25" tall x 6" wide + 4.5" front to back. 	Large Stoneware Jug J31 Original quality, late 19th century, two tone buff coloured glazed stoneware jug of generous proportions with a side loop handle, a good sized pouring spout and a belly to the main body. Loveridge Milk and Sugar Bowl Set J22 Original quality pressed brass milk/cream jug and sugar bowl with lid. Impressed to the underside of both with a large registration lozenge mark for '24th Jan 1881', 'The Pekin' and 'Henry Loveridge & Co'. The lid, with its turned ebony knob, may well be from the teapot of the set, which is sadly not available. H.Loveridge & Co was a respected manufacturer in Wolverhampton, famous for its metal ware and papier mâché household ware and produced items designed by Dr Christopher Dresser. This pair does have an Arts & Crafts feel about them. Both items have good tinning to the interior, are free of any dents and are perfect. 	Pewter Tray T46 Original quality, 1920's, beaten pewter, oval shaped, tea tray with a wide cushioned border with two raised side handles and four shaped bun feet to the underside. This tray has a super colour and Art Nouveau form and is impressed to the underside 'W & Co hand beaten English Pewter' and 'Homeland 6735 1/2'. Liptons British Empire Exhibition Brass Tea Caddy TC11* Original quality pressed brass tea caddy with lid, purchased at the British Empire Exhibition in 1925. Issued by Lipton's tea company and supplied filled with tea leaves. The lion logo for the exhibition is embossed to the top surface; 'British Empire Exhibition 1925' is around the centre followed by 'Liptons Souvenir Tea Caddy' and the underside is impressed 'Liptons' and with the registration number for the year 1925. Four Matching Maddock's Platters P16 Four original quality matching rectangular shaped ceramic meat platters from a dinner service. These unusual shaped plates all have four colour designs of wild roses. All have a gilt line around the outer edge and the mark to the underside detailing 'John Maddock's and Son England, Royal Semi Porcelain' and the crown and sceptre on a cushion trade mark for the year 1906 to 1927. One dinner size and one tea, both with a transfer to the top of the rim in orange for 'Wesleyan Sunday School, Crow Edge' within a ribbon banner. 	Confectionery Scales & Weights S98* Original quality set of cast iron confectionery shop counter scales with brass pans, a central brass frame to the pointer and a stack of circular flat brass weights. These scales are in the original paintwork and are embossed 'W & T Avery' for the manufacturer and 'To Weigh 2lb'. The lead custom seal is stamped 1896 and the weights are from 1lb down to 1/4oz. Confectionery Scales & Weights S97* Set of original quality, 1920's, cast iron sweet shop scales in the original green paintwork with brass pans and a stack of seven circular flat brass weights. The scales are embossed 'To Weigh 2lbs' and with original transfers for the manufacturer. 'Gardner & Sons 572 Wandsworth Road SW'. The cast brass pan for the weights is impressed also for the same scale maker and the stack of old brass weights has been put together to suit but are of the correct graduation of weights 1lb down to 1/4oz. 	Avery Shop Counter Scales S95* Set of original quality, 1920's, grocer's shop counter scales manufactured by W&T Avery Ltd. The main body is in white enamel on cast iron with a fan shaped centre section glazed to each side with the moving needle inside. For weighing below 1lb the dial is to be read and for above 1lb, weights need to be added accordingly to the brass slab. The adjustable feet and various other fittings attached are also in brass, the food slab is in white ceramic with a crest for W&T Avery applied and the same crest appears on one panel of the central upright section. The base unit is marked in green paint 'White Knight' to both sides, 'To weigh 10lb' and 'British Made at Birmingham, England' to the other. The china slab has several chips to the underside and the enamel to the body has a few chips here and there, but generally this scale is very bright and clean, complete and in good and working order. This scale looks like a boring 'Shop Fan Scale', but this example is earlier, better quality and much more interesting than most similar scales, and still has the customs and excise impressed lead stamp to the central section. 	Cast Iron Confectionery Scales S67* Set of original quality, 1920's, confectionery shop scales with a stack of seven brass weights, 1lb down to 1/4oz. The scales are in the original gold paint with the original brass pans and fittings. These scales will weigh up to 2lb and are marked 'J. Farquharson & Sons London'. Some of the paintwork is flaking at the base edges, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. The weights are of various ages but the graduations are correct 1lb, 8oz, 4oz, 2oz, 1oz, 1/2oz, and 1/4oz. Scale base 12.5" x 4" x 7" high and 7.5" front to back. Salter Family Scale S61* Original quality, 1920's, cast iron family scale, model number 50 with the white enamel face, to weigh up to 7lb.. The body retains the original green paintwork and the enamel dial is near mint and details 'Salter' for the manufacturer, 'Made in England' and 'C.Cussons Ltd. The Technical Works Manchester 7' and '7lb. by 1/2oz.'. Interestingly this is the first we have seen marked for and presumably made for a different company. Is this 'Cussons' the soap manufacturer? All has been lacquered and fully overhauled
