	Bentley Letter Opener M69 Original, quality 1950's/60's, chromed letter opener, with a "B" with wings, in the original ,faded red flock covered, hinged box. The lid of the box has a very faint image of the 'Bentley' logo for this letter opener was an official Bentley motor vehicle accessory. Power Petrol Can M68 Original, quality two gallon petrol can, code dated to the underside for the year 1939 and with the original brass screw on cap. This can is impressed "Power Petrol" to the sides and is embossed to the top "Petroleum Spirit Highly Inflammable", "3/=" and "The Power Petroleum Co Ltd, Riverside Wharf, West Street, Charlton S.E.7" and the brass cap is embossed "Power Petrol". This can has been cleaned and repainted in red oxide primer paint and is complete and in good order, an unusual two gallon petrol can. 	Wolf Radiator Lamp M66 Original, quality galvanised steel cylindrical shaped radiator oil lamp with a two part body, a hook for hanging under the vehicle bonnet and the original spark ignitor key to the underside. The brass label to the front details "The Wolf Radiator Lamp Pat Applied For" and the registration number for the year 1924. These lamps were used suspended beneath the bonnet of a vehicle overnight to prevent the radiator from freezing up. Lucas Brass Spare Bulb Holder M65 Original, quality, 1920's/30's cylindrical shaped, sheet brass spare bulb holder for motor vehicle bulbs. The two ends twist off and the central framework will pull out to one end and all will hold seven bulbs in total. The main body is impressed 'Joseph Lucas Ltd of Birmingham, Spare Bulbs' and each end cap is impressed 'No. 17c'. All has been polished and lacquered and, apart from some dents, all is complete and in good and working order. The lacquer can be removed if required, at no extra cost. 8" x 2.5" diameter. 	BP Motor Spirit Ash Tray M64 Original, quality, pre-war, pressed brass ash tray with embossed detail 'BP' and 'Motor Spirit' to the outer edge, and with four cigarette grooves. Powell & Hamner Carbide Motor Cycle Head Lamp M63 Original, quality, 1920's, brass carbide motor cycle head lamp in old black paintwork. The maker's plate to the top of the peaked hood details 'Powell & Hamner Manufacturers Birmingham' and 'P & H'. The top vent is also embossed 'W. D.' and with the arrow mark for the War Department. This example has very few, very minor dents and has the original bellied front glass, convex mirror to the inside, the carbide burner and the two side mounting bolts. 	Lucas Motor Can Horn M62 Original, quality, 1920's, Lucas No. 34 brass car horn in the original black japanned paintwork. The front grille is complete and the circular maker's plate details 'King of the Road No.34'. Lucas F141 Motor Vehicle Lamp M61 Original, quality, 1920's, Lucas 'King's Own' motor vehicle oil side lamp, in the original black paintwork. The badge to the side details 'Lucas King's Own. No F141' and 'Jos Lucas Ltd Birmingham'. This lamp has one dent to the lower reservoir and some bleeding through to the brass, but otherwise is complete and in good order with no cracks or metal fatigue. 	AA Motorcycle Badge M54 Original, quality, chromed 'AA' (Automobile Association) badge with a domed centre and a yellow painted aluminium backplate. This smaller version was for a motorcycle and this example was issued from 1956 to 1967. The badge number to the lower front is '68827'. Complete and in good order. 3.5" x 3". 	AA Ashtray M42 Original, quality, nickel plated ashtray with a winged "AA" badge mounted vertically. This model was mass produced during the 1920's and 30's and again in 1950, to commemorate the first million members in the Automobile Association. This example was the earlier issue and is impressed to one side 'Telephone Regent 300' and 'Telegrams Fanum London'. All is complete and in good order. Australian RAC Motoring Badge M36 Original, quality, super 1920's / 30's, radiator mounted, nickel plated car badge with two coloured enamel centre pieces and detailed in relief to one side for the 'Royal Automobile Club Association' and 'Royal Automobile Club of Victoria' to the other side. The base is stamped 'Stokes & Son, Melb' for the maker, to both sides 'Property of the RACV' and '17782', presumably the membership number. The central enamelled panels detail on one side with the Australian red ensign flag and to the other, a veteran motor vehicle with wings from its axles and a large 'V'. A truely stunning badge in near mint condition, with not a chip in sight to the enamelled plaques. 4" diameter, 6.5" high and 2" front to back at base. Click on photo for larger and other views. 	RAC Nickel Yale Key M32 Original, quality, nickel key made by Yale for the 'RAC' (Royal Automobile Club), and issued to all members to open the roadside RAC telephone boxes. 	AA Nickel Yale Key M12 Original quality nickel key made by Yale for the AA (Automobile Association) and issued to all members to open the roadside AA telephone boxes. Motor Vehicle Bulb Holder M10 Original quality circular pressed brass, two piece, hinged receptable to carry five motor vehicle light bulbs, with much of the original black paint finish. Embossed 'The Atlantic Bulb Box' and impressed with the registration number for the year 1922. Would have originally had a felt lining to the inside of each half. This was carried in motor vehicles to safely store spare bulbs, two headlight and three side / rear lights. Complete and in good order with only a few very minor dents. 5.5" diameter x 2.2" thick. 	Castrol Motor Oil Bottle OB9 Original, quality 1950's/60's, quart sized clear glass motor oil bottle, with the original screw on cap and original detail to the front and back for the manufacturer of the original content 'Castrol'. Moore and Wright Oil Can OC27 Original, quality, 1920's, conical shaped, tin oil can with a brass base and nipple. The spout is sealed with a spring needle and is stamped 'Moore & Wright Sheffield England'. A tiny oil can in mint condition, cleaned and lacquered, complete and in good and working order. 	Meccano Mini Copper Oil Can OC24 Original, quality, 1920's, superb miniature 'kayes patent' copper oil can with a screw off top brass cap, a pressure button, a rear looped grip and the long spout. This example is impressed with a 'K' to one side for the manufacturer and 'Meccano' to the underside. A wonderful object, these were included in the boxes of the larger kits of meccano free of charge. All is polished and lacquered and complete and in good and working order. 4" x 0.75" and 1" high. Kayes Patent Oil Can OC5 Original quality, late 19th century, very long, conical shaped, steel oil can with a brass sprung plunger and a brass screw-in end filler cap. It is embossed 'K' in upper case to one side panel. Said to have been used for Railway maintenance but not marked as such. 	Icarus Car Mascot CM21 Original, quality 1930's, chromed car mascot in the form of 'Icarus', recently mounted on a square marble plinth. 'Icarus' from Greek mythology was the son of master craftsman Daedulus, who built and wore wings in an unsuccessful attempt to escape from Crete. Complete and in good order. Chromed Car Mascot CM20 Original, quality 1930's, chromed motor car bonnet mascot of a speed nymph in an angular Art Deco form. This example has been mounted on a square, polished marble block, but has retained the original threaded bolt. A great looking car mascot in super condition. 	Hispano Suiza Car Mascot CM17 Original, quality, 1920's/30's chromed, flying crane car mascot of the style used on 'Hispano Suiza' motor cars. This example is not marked with any reference to a manufacturer and has been mounted for the desk on a plinth of marble. Although this mascot is complete and in good order, some of the chrome plating has worn, revealing the cast brass metal beneath. A super car mascot. 1929 Pontiac Mascot CM16 Original, quality car mascot in the form of an American Indian's head with feathers and pigtails mounted on a radiator cap. This chromed, die cast mascot was supplied fitted to the 1929 Pontiac motor car manufactured in the US. The face of the Indian is copper plated to resemble bronze and the underside of the cap is embossed 'Made By Ternsteot MFC Co Detroit USA' and 'patent applied for'. Apart from some pitting to the chrome, all is in superb order and complete. 4" diameter base, 5" widest and 2.75" high. Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £300.00

Pratts Petrol Coaster A41 Original, quality, 1920's circular copper bottle coaster, embossed to the centre with "Pratts Perfection Spirit Petrol Can" and stamped to the outside "Made in England", "Solid Copper" and "J.S & S" for the manufacturer 'Joseph Sankey and Sons of Bilston near Birmingham'. This badge details 'Glasgow Corporation Transport', '1863', a coat of arms and has a brass split pin fitting with two eyes. 	Tramway Badge BB1 Original, quality, pre-war, embossed, nickel hat badge with a brass split pin fitting, with two eyes. The central detail has a tree above a fish or two, with a belt and buckle surround, over a ribbon swag, and details 'Corporation Tramways' and '5 Years'. Complete and in good order. 2" x 1.5". 1 Gallon Petrol Measure M104 Original, quality, post war, tinsmith made, sheet steel, cylindrical shaped, one gallon measure for checking the output of petrol pumps at filling stations. These measures were used by the government weights and measures / custom and excise departments and this example has a copper flange to the top with a drain tap to ensure the correct measure is issued. The lead seal to the top flange is stamped '5', the steel body is impressed '437' and embossed 'Gallon' and an oval brass label is affixed detailing the maker's name: 'Hardware Plate Co Ltd London SE11'. Some wear and tear dents and knocks to the copper top flange, otherwise all is complete and in good order and has been cleaned and lacquered. 7.25" base diameter and 11" tall. 	3 Gallon Petrol Measure M102 Original, quality, post war, tinsmith made, sheet steel, cylindrical shaped, three gallon measure for checking the output of petrol pumps at filling stations. These measures were used by the government weights and measures / custom and excise departments and this example has a copper flange to the top with a drain tap to ensure the correct measure is issued. The lead seal to the top flange is stamped '53', the steel body is impressed '2149' and '3 Gallons' and an oval brass label is affixed detailing the maker's name: 'Hardware Plate Co Ltd London SE11'. Some wear and tear dents and knocks to the copper top flange, otherwise all is complete and in good order and has been cleaned and lacquered. 10" base diameter and 17" tall. Gallon Oil Measure M95 Original, quality, 1920's, tinsmith made, one gallon, motor oil measure with a rear loop handle and a pouring spout to the front. The lead weights and measures seal details GR for King George V, 1911 to 1936. 	Bus Stop Enamel Sign S134 Original, quality pre war, double sided enamel sign detailing "Request Bus Stop" in red on white to both sides and with a red border. This example has two holes to the top and two on a flange to the bottom. Some chips to the top holes and considerable enamel missing to the flange, otherwise a good bright and clean enamel sign. 12" x 10.5" including flange. Click on photo for larger and other views. Hackney Carriage Plate NP143 Original, quality post-war, pressed aluminium half round plaque, detailing in embossed type "Hackney Carriage, 7 Seats". This plate would be visible on a taxi cab or similar. It has three screw holes for mounting and is very bright and clean. Company Name Plaque NP99 Original, quality, 1920's, sheet pink brass, rectangular shaped company nameplate with four countersunk screw holes for mounting. The inlaid white enamel text details 'Garage & General Finance Ltd'. Polished an laquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. 	Candle Coach Lamp CL59 Original, quality, late 19th century, superb candle coach lamp with brass mounts, cut glass panels and a mounting bracket. This stunning lamp has been converted to electricity using new insulated 3 core cable and bulb holder and is now ready to be used for a porch lamp. Apart from a little damage to the interior of the hinged door all is in superb order. The original bracket has been cut and turned to suit a wall mount and both this and the lamp have been repainted. The exceptional merit of this lamp (sadly only one of a pair) has to be the shaped brass front bezel and the cut and bevelled glass panels; the front one being a sunburst with a magnifying central circle (amazing how it was cut into one piece of glass) and the side one with two vertical grooves again in one piece of glass. War Time Cycle Lamp CL8 Original quality, 2nd World War, battery powered unused bicycle front lamp in the original green paintwork. The drop down visor would not show the light to the enemy bombers looking for directional clues such as roads. This lamp also has a carrying loop and a belt hook but requires a battery to work. 	Brass Motorist's Funnel F2 Original, quality 1920's/30's, oval shaped, brass motorist's filter funnel, stamped 'Halford' to the side of the tube and fitted with a fine brass mesh filter.
