Half Gallon Oil Measure M41 Original quality, 1930's, tinsmith made half gallon oil measure/jug with pouring spout, stamped '1/2 gallon' to the side and with the lead custom and excise mark to the inside edge. 	Desmo Motor Car Horn M19 Original quality, unused 1920's hand operated motor car horn with the mounting bracket but missing the rubber bulb. The original shop price tag is still attached and shows the retail price as 25 shillings. The main body is in the original, although a little scratched, black paintwork on brass and the mounting bracket and the front grille surround are in the original nickel plated finish. Although a rubber bulb is required to operate this, the reed is intact and all is complete otherwise and it does work very well, with a super sound just like a vintage motor vehicle should sound. 15.5" long x 5" wide x 6" tall. Lucas 723 Motor Car Lamp M17 Original quality superb example of an all brass oil motor vehicle front lamp, marked with a makers plate to the side detailing 'Lucas No.723 King of The Road' and 'Jos Lucas Ltd Birmingham'. These lamps from Lucas are normally date stamped but this one appears not to be but it was manufactered around 1910/1920's. No dents, no metal fatigue, complete burner and reservoir, good springs to the catch and good glass. 	Pratts Brass Cap for Petrol Cans, 5 available M14 Original quality brass screw on cap impressed 'Pratts' as used on the two gallon spare petrol cans originally fitted to the running boards on motor vehicles, circa 1900 to 1940's. Pair of Austin Brass Hub Caps M13 Pair of original quality, 1920's, cast brass wheel hub nuts/caps impressed 'Austin' in script. 	AA Nickel Yale Key M12 Original quality nickel key made by Yale for the AA (Automobile Association) and issued to all members to open the roadside AA telephone boxes. Shell Brass Cap For Petrol Cans, 2 available M11 Original quality cast brass screw on cap impressed 'Shell' as used on the two gallon spare petrol cans originally fitted to the running boards on motor vehicles, circa 1900 to 1940's. 	Motor Vehicle Bulb Holder M10 Original quality circular pressed brass, two piece, hinged receptable to carry five motor vehicle light bulbs, with much of the original black paint finish. Embossed 'The Atlantic Bulb Box' and impressed with the registration number for the year 1922. Would have originally had a felt lining to the inside of each half. This was carried in motor vehicles to safely store spare bulbs, two headlight and three side / rear lights. Complete and in good order with only a few very minor dents. 5.5" diameter x 2.2" thick. Vintage Car Brass Bulb Holder M4 Original quality pressed brass case to carry spare motor car bulbs (2 headlights and 3 sidelights), with a hinge to open and clip fitting to close. The original felt lining has been retained but sadly no bulbs. Embossed to one side 'Use Autoclipse Bulbs' and stamped with the registration number for the year 1922. 	Jaguar Mascot Desk Mount CM13 Original quality superb gold plated Jaguar car bonnet mascot, issued 1956-1964, mounted on a slab of green veined marble as a desk display. A wonderful presentation for such a super mascot. Complete and in good order. This model was used on Jaguars mark 2, 7, 8 and 9. Plinth 9" x 3" x 0.75" and total height 3.5". Terrier Car Mascot CM12 Original quality, 1920's/30's, nickel plated on cast brass car mascot in the form of a terrier in the begging position. Superb detail and pose, some minor wear to the plating but otherwise a super mascot. Has been mounted on a later wooden plinth and all is complete and in good and working order. 	Brass AA Badge CM10 Original quality, pre war, cast brass commercial vehicle membership badge for the Automobile Association (AA). Impressed to the front 'V89535' beneath the entwinned 'AA' with the wings above , all on a basket weave background. The reverse is stamped 'Property of the AA, New Coventry Street, London W1', and 'This badge Must Be Returned When Membership Ceases'. The reverse is rather pitted and the face a little scratched, but otherwise all is complete and in good order. 4.75" x 3.75" x 1/8". Click on photo for larger and reverse views. Price: £85.00


Road Haulage Association Vehicle Badge CM9 Original quality, 1930's, cast brass commercial vehicle badge detailing 'RHA' in a pierced design within the oval shaped outer. '4602' is impressed to the centre, presumably for the membership number. The reverse shows remains of the nickel plating. Not a common badge, complete and in good order. 4.5" x 3.5". Half Pint Oil Filler / Measure OC19* Original quality, post war, tinsmith made super little half pint oil measure with a rear loop handle and a front funnel pouring spout. 	Steel Atco Oil Can OC17* Original quality, 1920/30's circular and flat pressed tin oil can with a long neck and a brass screw in end cover. 	Bladon Steel Oil Can OC15* Original quality, 1920/30's, steel oil can with a pressure plunger and screw in brass filler cap with a chain to the top, a large over handgrip to one end and a long tapered spout with a brass nozzle to the other. Stamped to the underside 'Made By Bladon of Birmingham'. Has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. 17.5" x 3.5" x 4.25" high. Lucas No 20 Brass Oil Can OC14* Original quality brass oil can or petrol squirt with a circular flat body, a screw in filler cap to one end and a screw in dust cover to the spout at the other. Impressed for the manufacturer 'Joseph Lucas Ltd, Birmingham' and 'No 20' for the model. Stamped to the neck 'TE Blaydon Ltd', 'AM' beneath a crown (for Air Ministry) and '1940'. Some minor dents, but otherwise complete and in good and working order. Kayes Patent Oil Can OC5* Original quality, late 19th century, very long, conical shaped, steel oil can with a brass sprung plunger and a brass screw-in end filler cap. It is embossed 'K' in upper case to one side panel. Said to have been used for Railway maintenance but not marked as such. Candle Coach Lamp CL59* Original quality, late 19th century, superb candle coach lamp with brass mounts, cut glass panels and a mounting bracket. This stunning lamp has been converted to electricity using new insulated 3 core cable and bulb holder and is now ready to be used for a porch lamp. Apart from a little damage to the interior of the hinged door all is in superb order. The original bracket has been cut and turned to suit a wall mount and both this and the lamp have been repainted. The exceptional merit of this lamp (sadly only one of a pair) has to be the shaped brass front bezel and the cut and bevelled glass panels; the front one being a sunburst with a magnifying central circle (amazing how it was cut into one piece of glass) and the side one with two vertical grooves again in one piece of glass. 	Miller's Carbide Cycle Lamp CL7 Original quality, 1920's, carbide cycle lamp in the old black paintwork, embossed to the top 'Miller', 'British Made' and impressed to the lamp bracket mount 'Regalite' for the model. This example is complete with the valve tap for the feed to the rear light and apart from the nickel plating worn to some areas of the front bezel all is complete and in good order, with no signs of metal fatigue. 7" high, 4.25" widest and 7" front to back. Coach Footwarmer FW26* Original quality, late 19th century, all copper hot water filled footwarmer with the original carpet cover, originally used on the floor of coaches and early motor vehicles. This example is unusual for it is stamped with the trademark of the manufacturer 'Benham & Froud', stamped 'S' to the other end and has a brass plaque with instructions for use. The carpet is worn in places but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. 	Rolls Royce Cigarette Case CB5* Original quality, 1950 / 60's, chrome plated flat cigarette case with machine engraved surfaces and mounted with a 'Rolls Royce' red enamelled on chrome plaque to the top left hand side of the front. The inside still retains most of its matt gilt finish and has a fixed lower bar to hold the cigarettes in. The hinges and the catch all work well and generally a very clean Rolls Royce item. War Time Cycle Lamp, 2 available CL8* Original quality, 2nd World War, battery powered unused bicycle front lamp in the original green paintwork. The drop down visor would not show the light to the enemy bombers looking for directional clues such as roads. This lamp also has a carrying loop and a belt hook but requires a battery to work.
