	Petrol Can Pouring Spout M44 Original, quality, brass, screw on cap with a pouring spout conversion, as used on the 2 gallon spare petrol can, often fitted to the running boards of the earlier motor vehicles. These were manufactured from around 1900 up to the 1940's. Has been polished and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. 1.75" diameter and 3.5" high. Cory Brass Petrol Cap M43 Original, quality brass, screw on cap as used on the two gallon spare petrol can, often fitted to the running boards of the earlier motor vehicles. 	AA Ashtray M42 Original, quality, nickel plated ashtray with a winged 'AA' badge mounted vertically. This model was mass produced during the 1920's and 30's and again in 1950, to commemorate the first million members in the Automobile Association. This example was the earlier issue and is impressed to one side 'Telephone Regent 300' and 'Telegrams Fanum London'. All is complete and in good order. RAC of Spain Car Badge M37 Original, quality post war, brass motor car badge for the Spanish 'RAC' (Royal Automobile Club). The 'RAC' in script is enamelled white, the main badge is in brass on the background colour of red, yellow and red. Detailed to the surround is 'Real Automovil Club De Espana'. This badge has retained its mounting bolts with nuts and, although a little scuffed and dented, all is complete and in good order. 4" x 3". Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £65.00


	Australian RAC Motoring Badge M36 Original, quality, super 1920's / 30's, radiator mounted, nickel plated car badge with two coloured enamel centre pieces and detailed in relief to one side for the 'Royal Automobile Club Association' and 'Royal Automobile Club of Victoria' to the other side. The base is stamped 'Stokes & Son, Melb' for the maker, to both sides 'Property of the RACV' and '17782', presumably the membership number. The central enamelled panels detail on one side with the Australian red ensign flag and to the other, a veteran motor vehicle with wings from its axles and a large 'V'. A truely stunning badge in near mint condition, with not a chip in sight to the enamelled plaques. 4" diameter, 6.5" high and 2" front to back at base. Click on photo for larger and other views. Pair of Leather Gauntlets M47* Pair of original, quality, near unused, gauntlet gloves presumably for the Calvary or Horse Guard's? These are in super condition, a light tan colour, and are stamped to the inside '9' for the size, '1944', 'WD316', 'N.F.S.65' and 'P.O.2' and also for the manufacturer 'Thos Ensor & Sons Makers Milborne Port'. 	Quart Oil Measure/Jug M42 Original quality, post war, tinsmith made quart oil measure/jug with a pouring lip; embossed 'Quart' to the side and with the lead custom and excise mark to the inside edge. Half Gallon Oil Measure M41 Original quality, 1930's, tinsmith made half gallon oil measure/jug with pouring spout, stamped '1/2 gallon' to the side and with the lead custom and excise mark to the inside edge. 	AA Hotel Box Key M35 Original, quality, steel key to fit the wooden cabinets installed in country hotels, for the use of 'AA' members. These cabinets contained towels and brushes and were installed pre the first world war (pre 1914). This small key has fretted crossed AA's to the top, 'AA' for 'Automobile Association'. RAC Nickel Yale Key M32 Original, quality, nickel key made by Yale for the 'RAC' (Royal Automobile Club), and issued to all members to open the roadside RAC telephone boxes. AA Ashtray M30 Original, quality chromed metal ashtray with a winged 'AA' badge mounted vertically. This model was mass produced during the 1920's and 1930's and again in 1950 to commemorate the first milliion members in the 'Automobile Association'. Complete and in superb order with just some wear to the underside. Brass Vehicle Tax Disc Holder M24 Original, quality, 1920's, circular sheet brass, motor vehicle, road fund licence disc holder with six securing screws and a side plate for mounting. The old tax disc inside, dated as expiring 30th Sept 1932, is for vehicle reg no 'NM9441', a maroon Ford. 	Morris Motors Hubcap M23 Original, quality, 1920's, motor vehicle brass hubcap, later mounted for display on a circular maghogany backboard. The centre of the hubcap is impressed 'Morris Motors'. Pair of Austin Brass Hub Caps M13 Pair of original quality, 1920's, cast brass wheel hub nuts/caps impressed 'Austin' in script. 	AA Nickel Yale Key M12 Original quality nickel key made by Yale for the AA (Automobile Association) and issued to all members to open the roadside AA telephone boxes. Motor Vehicle Bulb Holder M10 Original quality circular pressed brass, two piece, hinged receptable to carry five motor vehicle light bulbs, with much of the original black paint finish. Embossed 'The Atlantic Bulb Box' and impressed with the registration number for the year 1922. Would have originally had a felt lining to the inside of each half. This was carried in motor vehicles to safely store spare bulbs, two headlight and three side / rear lights. Complete and in good order with only a few very minor dents. 5.5" diameter x 2.2" thick. 	Vintage Car Brass Bulb Holder M4 Original quality pressed brass case to carry spare motor car bulbs (2 headlights and 3 sidelights), with a hinge to open and clip fitting to close. The original felt lining has been retained but sadly no bulbs. Embossed to one side 'Use Autoclipse Bulbs' and stamped with the registration number for the year 1922. Lucas No 40 Brass Oil Can OC25 Original, quality, small, narrow brass oil can with a long spout to the front, with a screw off dust cover, a top push plunger, a screw off filler cap and a finger hole handle to the rear. The top filler cap details 'Use Coin to Open', the underside is stamped with the registration number for the year 1919 and '49', and the two sides are stamped 'Joseph Lucas Ltd, Birmingham, England' and the other 'No 40 Oiler'. Above the finger grip handle is a steel spring clip to retain the needle pointed dust cap when the can is in use. This is the model fitted in the early 1920's Rolls Royces onto the bulkhead and this example has a replacement dust cap made to suit. 	Meccano Mini Copper Oil Can OC24 Original, quality, 1920's, superb miniature 'kayes patent' copper oil can with a screw off top brass cap, a pressure button, a rear looped grip and the long spout. This example is impressed with a 'K' to one side for the manufacturer and 'Meccano' to the underside. A wonderful object, these were included in the boxes of the larger kits of meccano free of charge. All is complete and in good and working order. 4" x 0.75" and 1" high. Kayes Patent Steel Oil Can OC23* Original, quality, 1920's, long steel conical shaped oil can with a screw on brass filler cap to the butt end, a brass plunger button and a brass label in the form of an upper cased 'K' detailing 'Kayes Patent'. Embossed 'Half Pint' to the front and a crown, weights and measure stamp and '186 / 74' to the funnel. A pretty oil measure, complete and in good and working order. 8" x 3.75" and 5.5" tall. 	Steel Atco Oil Can OC17* Original, quality, 1920/30's circular and flat pressed tin oil can with a long neck and a brass screw in end cover. Embossed to one side 'Atco', the well known lawnmower manufacturer. Has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. Diameter 2.5" x 0.75" and 6" total length. Lucas No 20 Brass Oil Can OC14* Original quality brass oil can or petrol squirt with a circular flat body, a screw in filler cap to one end and a screw in dust cover to the spout at the other. Impressed for the manufacturer 'Joseph Lucas Ltd, Birmingham' and 'No 20' for the model. Stamped to the neck 'TE Blaydon Ltd', 'AM' beneath a crown (for Air Ministry) and '1940'. Some minor dents, but otherwise complete and in good and working order. 1929 Pontiac Mascot CM16 Original, quality car mascot in the form of an American Indian's head with feathers and pigtails mounted on a radiator cap. This chromed, die cast mascot was supplied fitted to the 1929 Pontiac motor car manufactured in the US. The face of the Indian is copper plated to resemble bronze and the underside of the cap is embossed 'Made By Ternsteot MFC Co Detroit USA' and 'patent applied for'. Terrier Car Mascot CM12 Original quality, 1920's/30's, nickel plated on cast brass car mascot in the form of a terrier in the begging position. Superb detail and pose, some minor wear to the plating but otherwise a super mascot. Has been mounted on a later wooden plinth and all is complete and in good and working order. 	Brass AA Badge CM10 Original quality, pre war, cast brass commercial vehicle membership badge for the Automobile Association (AA). Impressed to the front 'V89535' beneath the entwinned 'AA' with the wings above , all on a basket weave background. The reverse is stamped 'Property of the AA, New Coventry Street, London W1', and 'This badge Must Be Returned When Membership Ceases'. Quart Petrol Measure M74 Original, quality pre-war, custom and excise, steel, quart measure of the conical form, with a copper neck and a brass plaque detailing 'Co. Chester Quart'. 	Gallon Petrol Measure M73 Original, quality pre-war, customs and excise, steel, gallon measure of the conical form, with a side handle, a copper pouring rim to the top and a brass plaque detailing 'Co. Chester Gallon'. Used to check the accuracy of petrol pumps on forecourts. Minor dent near the base, otherwise complete and in good order; cleaned and lacquered. Base 11.25" and 10.5" high. Dominion Enamel Sign S34 Original quality, 1920/30's, enamel advertisement for 'Dominion' motor car petrol, detailed 'Ask For Dominion Guaranteed' and a '1/4' in a petrol globe shaped logo. The text is black and white on blue and is generally in good, bright condition with a good, clean edge, but with three rust holes to one side of the main panel. 48" x 30". 	Dominion Motor Spirit Enamel Sign S33 Original quality, 1920's, enamel advertisement for 'Dominion Motor Spirit', an early brand of motor car petrol. This large sign is clear and brightly coloured with black and white text on blue. Damage to the enamel around the edges, with one or two holes. Some touching in with paint only has been carried out to most of the chips. Marked for the maker 'Bruton London' and 'British Made'. 72" x 30". Click on photo for larger view. Price: £180.00


Company Name Plaque NP99* Original, quality, 1920's, sheet pink brass, rectangular shaped company nameplate with four countersunk screw holes for mounting. 	War Time Cycle Lamp, 2 available CL8* Original quality, 2nd World War, battery powered unused bicycle front lamp in the original green paintwork. The drop down visor would not show the light to the enemy bombers looking for directional clues such as roads. This lamp also has a carrying loop and a belt hook but requires a battery to work. Miller's Carbide Cycle Lamp CL7 Original quality, 1920's, carbide cycle lamp in the old black paintwork, embossed to the top 'Miller', 'British Made' and impressed to the lamp bracket mount 'Regalite' for the model. This example is complete with the valve tap for the feed to the rear light and apart from the nickel plating worn to some areas of the front bezel all is complete and in good order, with no signs of metal fatigue. 7" high, 4.25" widest and 7" front to back. 	Candle Coach Lamp CL59* Original, quality, late 19th century, superb candle coach lamp with brass mounts, cut glass panels and a mounting bracket. This stunning lamp has been converted to electricity using new insulated 3 core cable and bulb holder and is now ready to be used for a porch lamp. Apart from a little damage to the interior of the hinged door all is in superb order. The original bracket has been cut and turned to suit a wall mount and both this and the lamp have been repainted. The exceptional merit of this lamp (sadly only one of a pair) has to be the shaped brass front bezel and the cut and bevelled glass panels; the front one being a sunburst with a magnifying central circle (amazing how it was cut into one piece of glass) and the side one with two vertical grooves again in one piece of glass. Coach Footwarmer FW26* Original quality, late 19th century, all copper hot water filled footwarmer with the original carpet cover, originally used on the floor of coaches and early motor vehicles. This example is unusual for it is stamped with the trademark of the manufacturer 'Benham & Froud', stamped 'S' to the other end and has a brass plaque with instructions for use. The carpet is worn in places but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. 	John Bull French Chalk Items C1 Original, quality John Bull cycle tyre repair items to include a tin of French Chalk and three orange coloured rubber punchure repair patches 1 x No3 and 2 x No2.
