Thames Conservancy Plates, 2 Available NP145 Original, quality, unused enamelled registration plates for 'Thames Conservancy' "Private Pleasure" vessels dated 1938 and 1941. 	Hackney Carriage Plate NP143 Original, quality post-war, pressed aluminium half round plaque, detailing in embossed type "Hackney Carriage, 7 Seats". This plate would be visible on a taxi cab or similar. It has three screw holes for mounting and is very bright and clean. 	Llewellin and Son Brass Plaque NP114 Original, quality late 19th Century, small, oval shaped, pressed brass manufacturer's plate, detailing a royal style coat of arms above 'G. Llewellin and Son, Prize Churnworks, Size No 3T, Haverford West'. Some minor dents, but otherwise in good order, polished and lacquered. G. Hathaway's Cast Iron Plate NP113 Original, quality late 19th Century, circular, cast iron, counter balance weight from the underside of an oak end over butter churn. The embossed details read: 'Registered Trademark No 76960 (for 1887) "Shakespearian", Hathaway Maker, Chippenham, England, "Notice This Great Butter Producing Churn was Used in All Parts of the World"'. Columbian Press Brass Plaque NP106 Original, quality, 1849, oval shaped brass maker's plate mounted on an oak backboard with a detailed reference ivorine plaque beneath. The engraving to the original oval cushioned shaped plate details "Columbian Press No. 1305, Clymer Dixon & Co, original patentees and manufacturers 10 Finsbury St London" and "1849". The engraving is in a variety of scripts. The ivorine plaque details: "This brass plate was removed from an old hand-press in Thurnam's Printing Works on which the Carlisle Patriot was once printed and was fixed here when the shop and works moved from 11 English St to these premises in 1958." Dopson Copper Sign S24 Original, quality, embossed copper shop sign, circa 1900, in the Art Nouveau style, mounted on the original oak backboard with the remains of the paper delivery label from the manufacturers in Nottingham. This sign was one of a pair originally displayed in 'Dopson's', a haberdashery shop in the High Street of Hungerford, the other is currently in the Hungerford Museum Collection.
