	Set of Wrought Iron Fire Irons F322 Original, quality, three piece set of late 19th century, blacksmith made wrought iron fire irons, shovel, tongs and poker. The poker has a super long square section tip, the shovel has an old replacement spade end and all are a little pitted and weathered, but a super set of heavy quality fire irons never the less. 	Spongs Knife Cleaner KC22 Original, quality, table mounted, knife cleaner/polisher with a pressed steel body, handle arm with a wooden grip, the original green paintwork with the embossed details to the top picked out in gold and the red 'seal' logo for the maker. The details are "Spong's Red Seal Polisher for Stainless and Ordinary Knives", "British Made" and with the registration number for the year 1922. Two knife inserts and one blade to the top. Adjustable Wrought Iron Meat / Pot Hook PH22 Original, quality, early 19th century, blacksmith made wrought iron adjustable pot hook or meathook used over or in front of a down hearth open fireplace. This most unusual adjustable hook has coat hanger style end hooks and one adjustable hook down the centre, with eight positions and a super shaped and pointed hook. 	Pair of Bakelite Door Handles, 3 Pairs Available DH957 Pair of original, quality, bakelite door knobs of a square design, with a square bar included to fit a standard mortice lock or latch and mounted on rectangular backplates, with a keyhole and four countersunk screw holes for fixing. These very clean handles are square with canted corners and the backplates have a step down border and an Art Deco inverted cut out to the top border. The reverse is embossed with the registration number for the year 1932. Good lookers and complete and in good and working order. Backplate 8" x 2.5", knobs 1.75" square x 2.25" front to back. 	Horse Muzzle H43 Original, quality, late 19th century, galvanised wire muzzle, with a leather covered outer ring and the original leather strap with steel buckle. The leather covering and the wirework is in super condition, but the strap is a little dry and stiff, otherwise all is complete and in good order. Electric Desk Lamp SL270 Original, quality 1920's, electric reading/desk lamp, with the original tin and brass trough shade. This example has a tubular brass stem with an adjustment wing nut to the base, and is mounted on the original circular tin base, with a cast iron weight beneath. The trough shade will tilt up or downwards. The base has been re-painted cherry red and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex, a new brass bulb holder, switch and a three pin plug. Fully overhauled, complete and in good and working order. 	Servants Intercom Bell IB170 Original, quality, late 19th Century, brass intercom bell, with brass mounts, steel springs and a decorative brass central boss. This bell can be pulled from either left or right and is for use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system. The other parts required to operate this system and other similar bells are usually available in stock. The central boss is a replacement made to suit, copied from an original. All has been fully overhauled, the ironwork repainted end, the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Servants Intercom Bell IB169 Original, quality, late 19th Century, brass intercom bell, with brass mounts, steel springs and a decorative brass central boss. This bell can be pulled from either left or right and is for use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system. The other parts required to operate this system and other similar bells are usually available in stock. The central boss is a replacement made to suit, copied from an original. The brass cranked fitting and the brass clapper are most unusual and much more decorative than on average. All has been fully overhauled, the ironwork repainted and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. 	Brightglow Electric Bedwarmer EF3 Original, quality, circa 1910/1920's, electric heater/bedwarmer. This heavy circular copper heater has an aperture with two pins to take an electric kettle type adaptor to plug in and heat up. Impressed to the top and underside "Brightglow Electric Heater", "Disconnect Before Placing in Bed, Heat 5 Minutes Only", "Registration Applied For" and "200/250v". The top surface has been polished and lacquered, but the underside still retains the original finish. Sadly the plug and adaptor are long gone. 	4lb Brass Weight W142 Original, quality, pre-war, cast brass bell shaped butchers' or grocers' counter weight. Impressed "4lb" to the top of the ring handle and "W&T Avery Ltd" to the shoulder. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. A very clean example, complete and in good order. Base 2.75" diameter x 5.75" tall. Skirt Lifter SL6 Original, quality 1920's, nickel plated on brass skirt lifter, with a hook for the belt. These were worn by housekeepers or the lady of the house to hold up the front of their long skirts when ascending stairs whilst carrying a tray or similar. The hanging sprung clip would hold up the skirt six inches or so to prevent the leading foot rising up the stairs from treading on the skirt; thus preventing a trip. Stamped under the rim "1/2 Gill" and "VR" under a crown and engraved to the underside "George The Fourth" for the previous pub owner. 	Brass Door Pull Knob DP271 Original, quality, circa 1900, spherical shaped pink cast brass door pull knob, with a circular backplate. Travelling Knife, Fork and Spoon FK63 Original, superb quality, 1920's three piece travelling cutlery set for the pocket or suitcase, with nickel covers, spoon, fork and a steel blade to the knife. The blade is marked for the manufacturer "Wm Hutton and Sons Ltd" and all is complete and in good order. 	Silver Plated Tankard M63 Original, quality 1920's/30's, half pint tankard, with a side handle and a military crest affixed to the front, with a lion on a crown above and detailed "Honi Soit L.V.Pense" and "Sancte et Sapienter" which translates to' Shamed be he who thinks evil of it' and 'With holiness and with wisdom'. Dinner Gong G104 Original, quality, late 19th century, nickel plated table dinner gong, in the form of a circular gong suspended beneath a sign post, and mounted on a rocky landscape, with a child sitting at the base of the post. The original hammer with a re-covered head is hanging from the post. The finger pointer is detailed "This Way" on both sides and one side also has the registration number for the year 1884. All has been polished and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. A most unusual dinner gong, with a good tone and complete and in good and working order. 	Pair of Cast Iron Brackets B66 Pair of original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron wall brackets in the Art Nouveau form, ideal for shelf brackets and each with three countersunk screw holes for mounting and two for the shelf board. Pair of Wrought Iron H Hinges DH27 Pair of original, quality, late 18th or early 19th century, blacksmith made wrought iron 'H' shaped door hinges, for either a cupboard or a cottage door. Strangely, although I feel these hinges are a pair, one has four screw holes in each leg and the other has five, never the less these are complete and in good order. Grocers Beam Scales S200 Set of original, quality, late 19th century, grocers' or butchers' counter scales, with a circular ceramic slab and a stack of circular brass weights. These scales have a brass column mounted on a shaped cast iron base and a brass cross beam suspended within a decorative cast iron frame. The beam has a cast brass pan suspended on linked rods from one end, and a brass framework holding the ceramic slab to the other. The top iron frame has the original gold and black paintwork, the brass beam is impressed "Class B" and "To Weigh 7lbs". The ceramic slab has a transfer decoration of a figure with a set of hanging scales and the brass pan for the weights has a brass pear shaped counter balance weight filled with lead shot to enable the scales to be correctly balanced. The central brass column has a few minor dents, but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. All the brass is polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required to no extra cost. The stack of nine weights are graduated in size from 4lb to 1/4oz and are calibrated as standard for this type of scale and are also polished and lacquered, although the lacquer again can be removed if required. A superb set of scales and weights in great condition. 32.25" tall x 25" widest + 11.5" front to back, ceramic slab 10.5" diameter, stack of weights 4.5" x 3.5" tall. Price is for the set. 	Salters Pocket Balance S199 Original, quality, pre-war, brass faced spring balance to weigh up to 50lb. This example has a tin body, a wrought iron ring to the top and a wrought iron hook below. The face is detailed "Salter's Pocket Balance", "Made in England", "No 3, to Weigh to 50lb" and is calibrated in 1lbs. Brass Steelyard Weight W141 Original, quality, late 18th or early 19th century, pear shaped brass weight from a steelyard scale. This early example has a seamed brass case filled with lead and fitted with a wrought iron loop to the top, and weighs 5lb. Hard to find. 	7lb Brass Bell Weight W140 Original, quality, late 19th century, 7lb cast brass bell shaped butchers' or grocers' shop counter weight. Stamped "7lbs" to the top of the hand grip, "VR 254" with a crown over the top to the shoulder and various other area stamps. 	Cauterising Iron VT39 Original, quality, late 19th century, blacksmith made wrought iron cauterising or searing iron, used with livestock to seal an open wound or when tail docking. Tack Cleaning Hook HR66 Original, quality, late 19th century, galvanised wrought iron adjustable tack cleaning hook, for a harness room. This clean example has three hooks, not the normal four, a hanging hook at the top and three adjustment positions. Cleaned and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Complete and in good order. Length 36" shortest x 53" extended x 13.5" wide + 7.5" front to back. 	Brass Pestle and Mortar PM28 Original, quality, mid 19th century, superb cast brass mortar with the original matching double ended pestle. Both items are stamped "15". The mortar has a flared top, straight sides with lines on the circumferences and side lug hand grips, the pestle has a tapered stem from the ends to the centre, and again with circumference line decoration. A great example in super order, not easy to find with the matching pestle. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Ships Wheel Cigar Cutter SA23 Original, quality 1920's, 'ship's wheel' cigar cutter on the original circular steel base. The cigar tip would be placed down behind the wheel and the wheel, when turned, will trim off the cigar. The underside is marked to the swinging cover "Made in Germany" and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. 	Oval Dairy Can DP136 Original, quality, late 19th century, oval shaped, steel dairy can, as used on milk delivery prams and floats when delivering door to door straight from the churn. This example has the standard brass wire swing handle to the top, a fixed loop to the reverse and large brass mounts to the hinge of the lid. Impressed to the front "Harrow" for the delivery and also to the front "Headstone Farm Dairy". Cleaned and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Aneroid Desk Barometer B9 Original, quality, pre-war, desk barometer in the form of a ship's wheel, with a fruitwood body, brass bezel, spokes and easel type backstand. The bezel is impressed "M.V.
