R Fry & Co Counter Ginger Beer Flagon SJ55*
Original quality two tone glazed stoneware giant ginger beer bottle, circa 1900. Manufactured for dispensing ginger beer from the shop counter. The tap hole at the base would be on the shop keepers side and the other would be viewed by the customer in the shop. The elaborate detail to the transfer printed crest etc includes 'R Frys & Co Ltd' two fish on a shield and 'Hastings, Brighton & Eastbourne'. The screw on stopper is missing the lower half and has a few chips. The main flagon has retained its galvanised carrying handle and the body is impressed '2'. Some chips to the top and bottom edges but otherwise all is in good order and complete. A super transfer printed counter ginger beer. 8" diameter x 19" tall with the handle down.

This tool comprises a knifeblade, sprung to use as a cigar cutter through the hole in the side, corkscrew and champagne wire cutter all in nickel side covers, superb and in complete and working order. Closed 3." x 1.2" x 0.2", and blade open 5.7" total length.

Original quality, pre war, tobacconists' shop advertising mirror of a super small size in the original oak frame. This example details 'Westward Ho Smoking Mixtures', also in small text to the lower edge of the mirror, 'Issued by the Imperial Tobacco Co (of Great Britain & Ireland) Ltd'. The mirror has some blemishes but is bright in colour. The original frame has been cleaned and the ply backing board has been replaced with similar. All is now complete and in good order. 26.25" x 9.25" x 1". Two other matching advertising mirrors for different brands may be available, ref codes A20 & A21.

Pair of original quality, 1920's, advertising tobacconists' mirrors in the original mahogany frames with orginal backing boards. These superb matching mirrors detail in gilt script "Goudulem Extra Fine Turkish Cigarettes" and "Kestorian Egyptian Blend Cigarettes" and "Dekka Cigarettes". All very unusual brands. Apart from a few very very minor blemishes these mirrors are in amazing and complete condition. These pictures cannot do them justice, they are truely stunning. Frames 54.5" x 10.5" x 1.25". Some minor dents but overwise complete and in good order. 6.5" high, base 6" diameter and 7.5" front to back.

This exceptional pewter measure has a clear stamp to the brass rim detailing 'VR' beneath a crown all above '2', with Quart in upper cased text. The pewter is also stamped many times to one side with a variety of customs and excise marks and to the inner base with a rubbed maker's stamp which could be 'Loftus, 32 Oxford Street, London'? A stunning example in unbelievable condition. 6" high, base 4.75" diameter and 7.5" wide including grip.

Some dents to the side handle, otherwise all is complete and in good order. 8.5" tall, 9.5" wide including handle and 7.5" base diameter.

W.Grace Cast Iron Pub Table F18*
Original quality, circular, fancy cast iron pub table fitted with a replacement top made from a well used, elm shop counter. The cast iron base, in the form of 3 legs with an inner shelf, is decorated with the head of W.Grace wearing a cricket cap to the top of each leg section. Each head has the initials 'WG' above and is surrounded by swags of ribbon, bunches of flowers and fruit etc. Some good repairs have been made to the ironwork in places and is now complete and in good order and has been finished in clear lacquer to retain the detail. The reverse of each leg is marked with the registration number for the year 1891. W.Grace was a famous Victorian English cricketer, probably the most famous, and this table is the rarest of the character pub tables produced. A good usable pub table with a cricketing connection. 30" tall, 24.5" top diameter.
