	Half Pint Mocha Ware Ale Measure M71 Original, quality late 19th Century, half pint, ceramic ale measure with the blue band and Mocha Ware decoration. Etched to the front is 'Half Pint', over an oval mark, surrounding 'VR71'. A very small chip to the top rim and general rub marks to the glazing, otherwise, complete and in good order. 3" diameter, 3.75" high and 4.75" wide including handle. Copper Ale Measure M65 Original, quality mid 19th Century copper ale measure, with a pouring lip to the top and a side loop handle. The front is stamped '1/2 Gallon' and inside the top flange is 'GR', a crown and a makers plaque for 'J Sissons & Co of London'. The top flange is a little dented and the handle more so, but otherwise all is complete and in good order and has been polsihed and lacquered. 8.5" high, 7" base diameter and 9.5" wide including handle. 	Copper Ale Measure M64 Original, quality 1920's copper ale measure with a pouring lip to the top and a side loop handle. The front is stamped '1/2 Gallon'; under the rim to the outside is 'GR' and the War Department arrow mark and inside the top flange is 'GR' and a crown. 1 Gallon Copper Ale Measure M63 Original, quality copper ale measure, circa 1900, with a pouring lip to the top and a side loop handle. The front has an applied brass plaque detailing 'Gallon' and the inside top flange has a lead custom seal. 	Gill Copper Ale Measure M60 Original, quality, mid to late 19th century. "1 Gill" size copper ale measure of the haystack form. This example is hard to find in this size and is in superb condition. It has a good lead custom mark to the top detailing a "VR" mark, a side tapered loop handle and no dents. Base 3" diameter, 3.5" tall + 4" wide including handle. Mochaware Pint Ale Measure M59 Original, quality, late 19th century, off white ceramic pint measure with an applied crown over "One Pint" to the front, a side loop handle and a mochaware design on a glazed buff coloured central band with blue bands above and below. Tams Pint Measure M57 Original, quality, late 19th century, cream coloured pint ale measure with the custom and excise mark to the glaze detailing "VR32" beneath a crown. Transfer printed to the front "Crown Pottery" within a wreath and above "Patent Government stamped measure, John Tams of Longston Staffs Earthenware Manufacturer". 	Farrow & Jackson Quart Copper Ale Measure M29* Original quality, late 19th century, quart size copper ale measure, with a good lead custom and excise mark detailing 'VR' and an applied embossed label for 'Farrow & Jackson, Tower Street, London'. The main body is impressed 'Quart' for the size. This is the standard style ale measure with the pouring lip and loop handle to one side. Quart Pewter & Brass Ale Measure M28* Original quality, 19th century, two pint pewter ale measure with a side handle and a brass top rim. This exceptional pewter measure has a clear stamp to the brass rim detailing 'VR' beneath a crown all above '2', with Quart in upper cased text. The pewter is also stamped many times to one side with a variety of customs and excise marks and to the inner base with a rubbed maker's stamp which could be 'Loftus, 32 Oxford Street, London'? 	Pink Pint Ceramic Measure M26* Original quality, 1920's, pint ceramic ale measure. Pink to the outside and white to the underside, handle and interior. Etched in the glaze for the custom and excise stamp 'GR' with a crown above, over '490' within a circle and 'Pint' over. 4 Gallon Copper Ale Measure M17 Original, quality late 19th Century, huge copper ale measure with a pouring rim to the top and a side loop handle. The front is stamped '4 Gallons', the inside top flange has a plate for the manufacturer 'Farrow & Jackson, London & Paris' and a lead custom seal with a 'VR' and a crown. 	Marble Topped Pub Table F137 Original, quality, cast iron table base, circa 1900/1920's, with an old, circular, white veined on grey marble top. The base has three leg sections with a central adjoining shelf and three feet. Each leg is decorated with a cameo in relief of a head of a Greek or Roman God, and the central panel is detailed for the manufacturer 'Gaskell & Chambers Ltd Birmingham'. Cast Iron Pub Table with Mahogany Top F136 Original, quality, late 19th Century cast iron table base with an original, circular mahogany top. The base has three leg sections with a central adjoining shelf, all in an aesthetic movement design, and is embossed to the underside with the registration number for the year 1890. The cast iron has been stove enamelled gloss black and the mahogany refinished. An unusual of a cast iron pub table, complete and in good order. Top 24" and 29" high, 20" diameter spread of feet. 	Marble Topped Pub Table F135 Original, quality cast iron pub table base, circa 1900, with an off white and veined circular marble top with a bevelled edge. The round, cast iron base has three supports, a central adjoining shelf and has the figure of Bodicea with a shield of the Union Jack to the legs, each with a lions paw to the foot. The cast iron table has been cleaned and stove enamelled black. All is complete and in good and working order. A superb pub table or occasional table, ideal for indoor or outdoor use. W.Grace Cast Iron Pub Table F18* Original quality, circular, fancy cast iron pub table fitted with a replacement top made from a well used, elm shop counter. The cast iron base, in the form of 3 legs with an inner shelf, is decorated with the head of W.Grace wearing a cricket cap to the top of each leg section. Each head has the initials 'WG' above and is surrounded by swags of ribbon, bunches of flowers and fruit etc. Some good repairs have been made to the ironwork in places and is now complete and in good order and has been finished in clear lacquer to retain the detail. The reverse of each leg is marked with the registration number for the year 1891. W.Grace was a famous Victorian English cricketer, probably the most famous, and this table is the rarest of the character pub tables produced. 	Dublin Soda Syphon SS18* Original quality thick clear glass soda syphon, acid etched to the front for the suppliers of the contents "Mineral Water Distributor Ltd, Dublin" and with an Irish Harp and Shamrocks. The chrome top is also marked "Hovenden and Orr Ltd 1925". No knocks or chips and it is complete and in good order but not suitable for use. 3.75" diameter x 12" tall. Click on photo for larger view. H.Troughton Soda Syphon SS10* Original quality clear glass soda syphon, circa 1880, with a pewter top and spout etc. The front of the thick glass is acid etched for 'H.Troughton's Chemists Lancaster'. 	Copper Soda Syphon Tray T72 Original, quality, small circular copper tray originally a soda syphon stand now ideal for a visiting card tray or a single glass drinks tray. The floor has a hammered decoration and the underside is impressed with the registration number for the year 1903. Oak Framed Bevelled Pub Mirror M47* Original quality rectangular shaped, bevelled pub wall mirror, circa 1880/1900, with a wide light oak frame, and a cut design representing grapes with painted leaves and vines to the back of the glass. 	Capstan Cigarettes Advertising Mirror A33* Original, quality, 1920's/30's, cigarette advertising mirror in the original oak frame and original card backing board. The mirror details "Wills's Capstan Navy Cut Cigarettes", the backboard details "British Made" and "This Mirror is fitted up for inside use only (ITC 6448)". Westward Ho Tobacco Mirror A22* Original, quality, pre war, tobacconists' shop advertising mirror of a super small size in the original oak frame. This example details 'Westward Ho Smoking Mixtures', also in small text to the lower edge of the mirror, 'Issued by the Imperial Tobacco Co (of Great Britain & Ireland) Ltd'. The mirror has some blemishes but is bright in colour. The original frame has been cleaned and the ply backing board has been replaced with similar. All is now complete and in good order. 26.25" x 9.25" x 1". Two other matching advertising mirrors for different brands may be available, ref codes A20 & A21. 	Guinness Barrel End B2 Original, quality pre war, oak barrel end panel, ideal for a cheese or bread board. The top surface is branded 'Guinness 958646' and still has the brass bung ring. All is in good order. 12.5" x 1.5". Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £65.00


Glazed Stoneware Barrel B1* Original, quality, large 19th century, glazed stoneware barrel with a filling hole to the top, a smaller hole to the side at the top and provision for a tap to the base. Perfect for a storage container, a decoration or as a conservatory seat with a cushioned top. All is complete and in good order. 20" high, top and base 12.5" diameter and 15.5" widest. 	Nickel Plated Cocktail Shaker CS3 Original, quality, 1920's three piece, nickel plated cocktail shaker. The two main body parts are both marked '11' to ensure the correct tight fit but there are no other marks for the maker etc, which is unusual for such a good quality item. All is complete and in good and working order, with no sign of wear. 7.5" high and 3.5" widest. Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £65.00


Artillery Shell Cocktail Shaker CS2* Original, quality cocktail shaker manufactured from 1918 to 1921 by The Gorham Company in the US. One of the tallest cocktail shakers ever produced. The lower section is a real brass shell case and would have contained cocktail glasses apparently and the top section, in nickel with copper and brass mounts, serves as the shaker. The underside of both the brass shellcase and the nickel shaker are both impressed 'Fac-Simile Eighteen Pounder Shrapnel Shell' and 'Patent Applied for in America & Foreign Countries'. The brass lower section is also engraved with a large upper cased 'R' for the previous owner. The brass nose cone, although a tight fit, will pull off to enable the shaker to be filled and the small nose will also pull off to reveal the pouring spout and filter. Alas, no cocktail glasses, if there ever were any but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. A spectacular, very unusual piece. Base diameter 4". 	Brass Spirit Barrel Tap T2* Original, quality, late 19th century, cast brass tap for a spirit barrel, water filter or perhaps a beer pull. This example has a threaded back mount with a hexagonal nut and a lip at the spout to hold a drip cup? Complete and in good order. 4" high x 3.25" front to back. Click on photo for a larger view. Brass Bottling Tap T1 Original quality, 19th century, brass knock-in bung tap for wine barrels etc, used for filling bottles, hence the long spout. The turn key grip is stamped 'Farrow & Jackson, London & Paris' for the maker/supplier to one side and to the other 'Proven To 200lb 98'. Complete and in good and working order. 6" x 4.75" x 1". 	Hip Flask HF5 Original, quality 1920's glass hip flask with a leather covered upper half, a slide off plated shaped drinking cup and a screw off cap. The underside of the cup is marked for the maker 'James Dixon' of Sheffield and the plating to the top of the cap is a little rubbed, but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. 5.25" x 2.75" x 1.25". Hip Flask HF4 Original, quality, 1920's, glass hip flask with a leather covered upper section, a slide off silver plated drinking cup and a silver plated screw on cap. 	'Ladies' Brass Plaque NP68* Original quality, 1920's, pink sheet brass name plate inlaid with white enamelled upper cased 'Ladies' with four countersunk screw holes for mounting. 	Doulton 3 Handled Mug M61 Original, quality, late 19th Century glazed stoneware tyg, with figures in relief of a stag hunting scene to the lower parts and various tavern scenes of people drinking to the upper. The three handles are in the form of hounds and the top rim has been dipped in a darker ochre brown glaze. The underside is impressed 'Doulton & Co Ltd Lambeth', and all is perfect with not a chip nor crack in sight. 	Barman's Folding Knife FK30* Original, quality, 1920's, pocket tool kit carried by hotel barstaff etc, stamped to the steel knife blade for the maker 'Crown' or 'Brown' 'Liverpool'. This tool comprises a knifeblade, sprung to use as a cigar cutter through the hole in the side, corkscrew and champagne wire cutter all in nickel side covers, superb and in complete and working order.
