	Fireproof Safe S75 Original quality, 1920's, fireproof safe with two keys. This safe has been stove enamelled black to the outside and cold painted primer grey to the inside. It has the original fittings to the door, chrome handle and key cover, but does not detail the maker as normal. This safe has the added benefit of provision in the base to bolt the safe to the floor from inside. The exterior does have various marks and dents, being old damage, but all this has been stove enamelled over and although still visible they do not reduce the efficiency of the security or fire proofing. All has been fully overhauled and is in good and working order. Exterior 28" tall x 21" + 21" front to back, interior 21.25" tall x 14.25" wide x 15.5". Click on photo for larger and other views. Whitfield Fireproof Safe S69 Original quality, late 19th century, fireproof safe with two inner drawers. The exterior has been stove enamelled black and the inside cold painted primer grey. There are two keys for the door but none for the inner drawers. The hexagonal brass turning knob and shield shaped key cover are the original and both have been polished and lacquered. The shield cover to the keyhole is impressed 'S. Whitfield and Son' for the maker. All has been fullly overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. Exterior 27" tall x 19.25" x 18.25" plus fittings front to back, interior 16" tall x 12.5" x 11.5" over drawers. Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £585.00


	Fireproof Safe S67 Original quality, 19th century, fireproof safe, stove enamelled blue to the outside and cold painted primer grey to the inner. The inside is fitted with two lockable drawers and a removable steel shelf and the hinged front door has the original brass fittings; a keyhole surround with a swinging cover, a turning brass handle in the form of a fist with a document roll and the brass maker's plate. The keyhole cover is detailed 'Unpickable Lock' and the makers plate 'John Lowe, Patent Fire and Burglar Proof, Safe Maker of Manchester'. Two keys for the door and two for the drawers are included, all has been fully overhauled and is in good and working order. Wrought Iron Strongbox S66 Original quality, early to mid 19th century, heavy wrought iron strongbox with key. This example has recessed panels to all sides and the top hinged lid and drop looped wrought iron handles to the lid and both sides. The key hole has a sliding, all weather cover and all has been fully overhauled, cleaned and finished in a coat of clear lacquer. 	Fireproof Safe S62 Original quality, late 19th century, fireproof safe, stove enamelled green to the outside and cold painted primer grey to the inside. The original brass handle and spring release keyhole cover are still fitted and two keys, one original and one cut to fit, are included. The lock has been fully overhauled and all is complete and in good and working order. External 18" x 26" high x 17.5" front to back and internal 12.5" x 20.5" high and 12" front to back. Phillip's Brass Safe Plate SP72 Original quality, late 19th century, cast brass safe plate and handle backplate from a fireproof safe door. Embossed for the manufacturer "Phillip's and Son Birmingham" and with a good Royal coat of arms to the top. Has been polished and lacquered. Complete and in good order. 8.25" x 5". An unusually large safeplate detailed for the safe manufacturer 'Phillips & Son of Birmingham' with the Royal Coat of Arms.
