	Coach Builder's Side Router T57 Original, quality late 19th Century, coach builder's side router, as used for cutting glazing and panelling grooves in frames and pillars. Although it looks like boxwood, this example is made in beech, with a brass bottom plate and mountings for the two curved steel cutters. The body is stamped for the manufacturer 'G. Collier, Brixton' and 'C. Bachelor' for a previous owner. All is complete and in good and working order; an unusual example. 15.75" x 3" x 2". Click on photo for larger and other views. 1898 Brass Spirit Level with Case T56 Original, quality late 19th Century, cast brass spirit level in the original, tinsmith made, two piece case. The brass level is mounted on a steel plate over a brass base, has an adjusting screw to the underside and is engraved to the upper surface 'J. C. Norris, 1898', for a previous owner. 	Stanley Compass Plane T55 Original, quality late 19th Century, cast iron, fully adjustable compass plane or circular plane, embossed to the main body 'No 113' for the model and to the front ball grip 'Stanley Rule & Level Co' for the manufacturer. The sole is a flexible steel plate, adjustable to any required curve: convex or concave. Much of the original japanned finish remains and, although the sole is pitted, all is complete and in good and working order; a great example. 10.25" x 2.5" x 6" high. Draw Knife T54 Original, quality 1920's wrought iron draw knife with the original ash handles. A good, little used blade, and stamped for the manufacturer 'A. Hildick of Sheffield'. 	1/4" Mortice Chisel T53 Original, quality 18th Century wrought iron 1/4" socket type mortice chisel, with a later handle added for use with a leather shock absorbing washer. Chisel T52 Original, quality late 19th Century 0.5" steel chisel with a 'Best London Pattern' boxwood handle. The steel is impressed for the manufacturer 'Ward of Sheffield, Cast Steel' with the trade mark and the handle is stamped for a previous owner 'J Apsey'. 	Marples Beech Brace T32 Original, quality, late 19th century, beech wood working brace with a cocobolo head brass plates and a brass button chuck. The chuck is impressed for the maker 'W. Beech Button Chuck Brace T30 Original, quality, late 19th century, beech cabinet makers brace with a cocabola wood head and a brass button chuck. The chuck is stamped for the maker 'Thomas Ibbotson' of Sheffield and the beech body is impressed several times for the owner 'W.Coopey'. One grain chip to the wooden head and good repairs to the chuck and now all is complete and in good and working order with a good well used beech colour. 14.5" x 6" x 1.25" and head 3" diameter. 	Pair of Glove Maker's Shears T7 Pair of original, quality glover maker's shears, circa 1900/1920's. Stamped to the blade for the maker 'Hill Sawtell & Co. Ltd. Yeovil' and 'No. 2' for the size. 	E. Preston Brass & Mahogany Spirit Level SP6 Original, quality stunning maghogany spirit level with brass mounts and the original tin tube with end cover. The tin case has some rust damage to the cap and it does rather scratch the level when inserted, but never the less it is unusual to find one intact. The level has a decorative window frame for the clear glass bubble and another to one end and four end corner mounts. The main brass mount is stamped with the logo and 'E.Preston Trademark' for the manufacturer, 'Warranted correct' and with the registration number for the year 1896. Rabone Boxwood Rule & Level SP3 Original, quality, 1920's, boxwood 12" rule with brass plates to the ends on the underside and with an inset brass horizontal spirit level to the top surface and another vertical level to one end. 	Brass Shoulder Plane P21 Original, quality, late 19th Century, cast brass shoulder plane in the 'Yorkshire Pattern', with the original steel 1 1/8" blade and rosewood infill and wedge. Shoulder planes were designed to clean rebates, shoulders of tenons etc, across the grain. This superb example has no maker's name, only the owner's name - 'T. Weston' - stamped to both the infill and wedge. Complete and in good and working order; the best example we have had for some time. Body 9.5" x 1 1/8" and 3" high, total 11" long including blade. Unusual Beech Plow Plane, with 10 Irons P15 Original, quality, 1920's, very unusual beech plow rebate plane with ten steel blades by various makers. Despite all its attractive brass inset plates this plane has no maker's or owner's stamps. The top aperture for the wedge has a decorative shaped inset brass surround and the wedge has a protective brass plate cover. The pair of arms have brass inset horizontal plates and the rear and fore end both have inset decorative brass plates surrounding the adjustment screws for holding the arms in position. All is complete and in good and working order. A super examples showing very little signs of use. Plane 6.75" tall x 8.5" long x 9" wide, blades 7.5" long. Price is for the set. 	Fielding/Panel Plane by W. Deeley P10 Original, quality, 19th century, skew ironed beech panel plane with a slotted fence and a depth stop. This unusual plane is in superb condition and colour and has brass mounts to the adjustable fence and depth stop. The single wide cutting iron is impressed with three crowns and 'Mitchell Wreaks & Co Patent'. The plane is also impressed 'W. England' to both the fore end and rear, for the previous owner and to the fore end for the maker 'W. Deeley' for William Deeley 1826 to 1858. Lucas No 20 Brass Oil Can OC14* Original quality brass oil can or petrol squirt with a circular flat body, a screw in filler cap to one end and a screw in dust cover to the spout at the other. Wells Cast Iron Engineers Lamp OC11* Original quality, late 19th century, cast iron, oil burning lamp. Impressed to the front 'Wells' for the maker and 'Engineers Lamp No4 Patent'. The burner does unscrew and a very long wick is still usable but the brass wick winding wheel is missing, otherwise all is complete and in good order. 3" diameter base and 5.5" tall. 1922 Air Ministry Hand Torch M40* 'The Wootton Lantern' patented 1922 and manufactured by 'Smith & Sons, Cricklewood, London'. Original, quality aluminium hand torch / lantern in the original matt black paintwork and with folding back handgrips and a belt loop? Appears unused and complete with only the battery absent with the spare bulb in a front pocket and apart from some chips to the paint all is in super condition. 	1st World War Trench Saw M30 Original, quality hand chain saw in a leather wallet as issued to the British Troops in the trenches during the 1st World War, 1914 - 1918. These saws were used for shoring timbers for the trench walls. This example is complete, all original and has the pair of wooden handgrips, with brass ferrules, the sharpening file and the saw wrest for adjusting the teeth. The brass grips to the steel saw are stamped 'Francis Wood & Sons Sheffield 1917', the wrest 'Newey & Sons Ltd', the file 'Burys & Co Sheffield' and the case 'Finchmarch Bros 1916'. 	Green River Knife K10 Original, quality late 19th Century, hickory handled, steel knife; engraved to the blade 'Green River Knife' and 'Jonathan Crooker, Sheffield, England'. One side of the hickory handle has a shaped brass inset plate for engraving and the steel is a little pitted, but all is complete and in good order otherwise. 8.75" x 1" x 0.5". Cast Iron Shoe Last CL1 Original, quality mid 19th century three piece cast iron cobblers (shoe mender / maker) last. The circular base is decorated with a petal shaped outer edge and has two countersunk screw holes for mounting to the bench, a square shaped aperture to house the slender last and a separate heel pin.
