	1/4" Mortice Chisel T53 Original, quality 18th Century wrought iron 1/4" socket type mortice chisel, with a later handle added for use with a leather shock absorbing washer. The iron is stamped for the maker 'John Green' and the handle is marked for a previous owner 'C.W Jones'. Complete and in good and working order. 10.75" x 2" x 1.25". The handle details 'Wells' Unbreakable No2 File Handle', 'AC Wells & Co Patent'. This manufacturer was better known for their unbreakable oil wick workshop lamps. Pair of Glove Maker's Shears T7 Pair of original, quality glover maker's shears, circa 1900/1920's. Stamped to the blade for the maker 'Hill Sawtell & Co. Ltd. Yeovil' and 'No. 2' for the size. Preston Ebony Spirit Level SP24 Original, quality, late 19th Century, ebony spirit level with a brass top plate, bottom end plates and decorative side frames to view the bubble. 	Marples Mahogany Spirit Level SP23 Original, quality, late 19th Cerntury, superb, mahogany spirit level with brass top, base and end plates; fitted with countersunk steel screws, a horizontal and a vertical level and a line of sight viewer, through the length. The top plate, with decorative view 'cut out' to the bubble, is engraved 'J. Hutchinson 1897' for the original owner, 'W. Marples Hibernia' for the manufacturer and 'Warranted Correct'. The mahogany body has been refinished and the brass polished and lacquered. A most unusual level, in superb condition and complete. 10.5" x 1.75" x 1.25". Click on photo for larger and other views. 	E. Preston Brass & Mahogany Spirit Level SP6 Original, quality stunning maghogany spirit level with brass mounts and the original tin tube with end cover. The tin case has some rust damage to the cap and it does rather scratch the level when inserted, but never the less it is unusual to find one intact. The level has a decorative window frame for the clear glass bubble and another to one end and four end corner mounts. The main brass mount is stamped with the logo and 'E.Preston Trademark' for the manufacturer, 'Warranted correct' and with the registration number for the year 1896. Rabone Boxwood Rule & Level SP3 Original, quality, 1920's, boxwood 12" rule with brass plates to the ends on the underside and with an inset brass horizontal spirit level to the top surface and another vertical level to one end. Marked for the maker 'J. Rabone & Sons Birmingham' and model 'No. 1369'. Some staining and one chip to the boxwood, otherwise complete and in good and working order. 12" x 1.5" x 0.5". 	Brass Shoulder Plane P21 Original, quality, late 19th Century, cast brass shoulder plane in the 'Yorkshire Pattern', with the original steel 1 1/8" blade and rosewood infill and wedge. Shoulder planes were designed to clean rebates, shoulders of tenons etc, across the grain. This superb example has no maker's name, only the owner's name - 'T. Weston' - stamped to both the infill and wedge. Complete and in good and working order; the best example we have had for some time. Body 9.5" x 1 1/8" and 3" high, total 11" long including blade. Unusual Beech Plow Plane, with 10 Irons P15 Original, quality, 1920's, very unusual beech plow rebate plane with ten steel blades by various makers. Despite all its attractive brass inset plates this plane has no maker's or owner's stamps. The top aperture for the wedge has a decorative shaped inset brass surround and the wedge has a protective brass plate cover. The pair of arms have brass inset horizontal plates and the rear and fore end both have inset decorative brass plates surrounding the adjustment screws for holding the arms in position. All is complete and in good and working order. A super examples showing very little signs of use. Plane 6.75" tall x 8.5" long x 9" wide, blades 7.5" long. Price is for the set. 	Fielding/Panel Plane by W. Deeley P10 Original, quality, 19th century, skew ironed beech panel plane with a slotted fence and a depth stop. This unusual plane is in superb condition and colour and has brass mounts to the adjustable fence and depth stop. The single wide cutting iron is impressed with three crowns and 'Mitchell Wreaks & Co Patent'. The plane is also impressed 'W. England' to both the fore end and rear, for the previous owner and to the fore end for the maker 'W. Deeley' for William Deeley 1826 to 1858. S. Mordan Cast Iron Bookpress BP5 Original, quality, mid to late 19th Century, cast iron bookpress with a 14.75" x 10" working bed surface, some of the original gilt coachlined paintwork and the original brass counter balance weights and fittings. The oval maker's plate to the top is detailed: 'S. Mordan & Co Maker London'. All has been cleaned and polished and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. A great looking press. 	Steel Atco Oil Can OC17* Original, quality, 1920/30's circular and flat pressed tin oil can with a long neck and a brass screw in end cover. Embossed to one side 'Atco', the well known lawnmower manufacturer. Has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. Diameter 2.5" x 0.75" and 6" total length. Kayes Patent Oil Can OC5* Original quality, late 19th century, very long, conical shaped, steel oil can with a brass sprung plunger and a brass screw-in end filler cap. It is embossed 'K' in upper case to one side panel. Said to have been used for Railway maintenance but not marked as such. 	Boxwood 12" Rule R25 Original, quality, 1920's, three sided boxwood 12" rule / measure. Each side has different calibrations; 1", 3/32", 3/16", 1 ½", 3/4", 3/8", 1/4", 1/8", and 1/2". The centre of each side has a groove end to end and one side is marked 'V.B. London Make'. All is complete and in good and working order. 12.75" long and each side 7/8". Rabone No 1179 Boxwood Rule R22 Original, quality, 1920's, brass bound boxwood 36" ruler stamped for the maker 'J. Rabone & Son, Birmingham England', 'Made in England' and 'No 1179'. This ruler is folded in four sections, calibrated in inches and various divisions there of and is in superb condition. Complete and in good and working order. E. Preston No 3854 Boxwood Rule R15 Original, quality, 1920's, 36" folding boxwood rule, with brass fittings, calibrated in inches and fractions thereof. Stamped for the maker 'E.Preston & Sons, Birmingham, England', 'No 3854' for the model and 'Warranted Best Boxwood'. Wear to one pin hole and one scorch mark to the boxwood, otherwise complete and in good and working order. Open 36" x 0.5" x 0.25" and closed 9" x 1" x 0.5". Click on photo for larger & other views. 	1st World War Trench Saw M30 Original, quality hand chain saw in a leather wallet as issued to the British Troops in the trenches during the 1st World War, 1914 - 1918. These saws were used for shoring timbers for the trench walls. This example is complete, all original and has the pair of wooden handgrips, with brass ferrules, the sharpening file and the saw wrest for adjusting the teeth. The brass grips to the steel saw are stamped 'Francis Wood & Sons Sheffield 1917', the wrest 'Newey & Sons Ltd', the file 'Burys & Co Sheffield' and the case 'Finchmarch Bros 1916'. 	Harness Maker's Knife HT4* Original, quality, 1920's, steel Harness maker's round knife with a turned beech handle and a stitched leather cover. Cast Iron Shoe Last CL1 Original, quality mid 19th century three piece cast iron cobblers (shoe mender / maker) last. The circular base is decorated with a petal shaped outer edge and has two countersunk screw holes for mounting to the bench, a square shaped aperture to house the slender last and a separate heel pin.
