	Shop Door Bell B131 Original, quality, shop door bell fashioned using a 19th Century brass bell, with a replacement steel spring and brass door mounts made to suit. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost and the steel spring cleaned and repainted black. All is complete and in good and working order. Mouth of bell 3.25", total when mounted 7" tall x 9.25" front to back, mounting plate 1.75" x 0.5". Click on photo for larger view. Price: £75.00


Shop Door Bell B130 Original, quality, shop door bell fashioned using a 19th Century brass bell, with a replacement steel spring and brass door mounts made to suit. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost and the steel spring cleaned and repainted black. 	Witches Ball WB4 Original, quality, late 19th Century, blown glass, gold coloured, spherical shop decoration, referred to as a 'Witches Ball'. If you are superstituous these are said to have powers to frighten away witches and evil spirits. I am not superstituous so these are just decorative. This example has minor blemishes to the internal silvering, otherwise all is complete and in good order and still retains its original brass hanging ring and collar. Glass Shop Storage Jar, 2 Available SJ5 Original, quality, square, moulded glass shop storage jars with the original screw on brown bakelite lids. These were probably used in a tobbaconists shop. The jar is embossed to the underside 'British Made' and the lid 'Made in England' and with the registration number for the year 1937. 	Run of Matching Brass Letters HN18 Original, quality 1920's, cast brass, matching letters each with countersunk screw holes for mounting and originally for shop signs, etc. All has been polished and lacquered and are complete and in good order. The display shows tins of Huntley and Palmer biscuits, adverts for Eiffel Tower Lemonade and others. 	Atlas Lamps Change Slope A34 Original, quality, 1950's/60's, moulded glass counter top, shop change slope, advertising "Atlas" lamp bulbs. The details are "Get lamps you can rely on- get Atlas lamps they're 8-way tested". A little damage to the paint on the underside but not affecting the main pictorial panel and one edge chip to the bottom back, otherwise complete and in good order. Brass Shop Display Stands, 3 available & others similar DS1 Original, quality, 1920's, small brass shop display stands with a decorated brass 'T', mounted on a brass on cast iron pedestal base. 	Brass Cash Register CR13 Original, quality, late 19th century, all brass cash register, manufactured for the English market by the 'National Cash Register Company of Dayton, Ohio, USA'. This model will ring a maximum of £10.10s and 11 1/2d in one ring up. The cast brass body panels are embossed in Art Nouveau designs and all has been fully overhauled, cleaned, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. The original wooden plinth has been repainted black, the white 'Vitrolite' change slab has been renewed, as have two of the plate glass mounts to the top. Two strips of brass, one above the change stop and the other beneath, are replacements copied from originals.Two original keys are included. A super looking cash register, larger than average, with a really good action and easy to use. 17" tall x 20" wide at base + 16" front to back. Click on photo for larger and other views. National Cash Register CR12 Original, quality late 19th century, chome plated on cast brass, cash register. Manufactured for the English market by the 'National Cash Register Company of Dayton, Ohio, USA'. This model will ring a maximum of "£1. 19s. 11 3/4d" and the body panels are heavily embossed in Art Nouveau designs with details of the manufacturer 'National Cash Register Company' and patent dates from 1889 to 1897. The three plate glass panels to the top are replacements made to suit, as is the black vitrolite change slab. A really clean example with just a few rubbed areas. All has been fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. 17.25" tall x 17.25" + 15.5" front to back. Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £1,250.00


	Base Coin Detector S198 Original, quality, brass plate, with slots for nine different sized coins patented in 1853. This brass plate was fitted into grooves on a mahogany box which stood on the shop counter. It's purpose was to test coins for counterfeits, a coin was placed in the relative slot and if correct in weight and size, it depressed the rocker balance below the slot and fell into the drawer below, faulty coins would not go through the slot or stayed in the slot. The slots on this example, each with its own rocker balance, are marked "Sixpence, Fourpence, Threepence, Half Sovereign, Sovereign, Shilling, Florin, Half Crown and Crown". The brass top plate has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. A most unusual coin scale / detector, complete and in good and working order. Shoe Display Stand DS2 Original, quality shoe shop, shoe display stand in the original bronze finish on brass with an adjustable angle mechanism. The action is stamped "Dudley London" for the manufacturer and with the patent number for the year 1922. Cleaned, lacquered and complete and in good order. 	Shop Tobacco Jar T16 Original quality, late 19th century, green glazed, straight sided, shop tobacco jar, with the original black japanned tin lid and printed to the underside for the maker of the jar "H. F. + S, London". This jar would have originally had a hand painted coat of arms design to the front along with the description of the tobacco mixture stored within.
