Wrought Iron Pole Trap T45 Original, quality, 19th Century, blacksmith made, wrought iron pole trap. This is of the fairly standard size, widely used in the 19th and early 20th Century to catch hawks and owls. This example is very pitted from weather damage, has a repair to the rather weak spring and some rust holes to the bait plate, but otherwise, it is complete and has been cleaned and lacquered.
