The cane is very clean and bright, with a brass ferrule and the silver band, although with very faint hallmark, does have a split to the join. Ebonised Dress Cane WS25
Original, quality, late 19th century, ebonised Gent's dress cane with a silver plated handle in the form of a deer's stump antler section, impressed patent and with a hallmarked silver collar. The handgrip is the first we have seen and appears to be cast, simulating a stump antler or possibly a real antler section covered in copper and then silver plated. The hallmark on the collar is rubbed, but it is a UK hallmark. Some wear to the silver plating with copper bleeding through, otherwise all is complete and in good order. 35.5" x 2.25" x 1.5".

Malacca Cane with Ivory Handle WS22
Original, quality, 19th century, malacca walking cane with a carved ivory handle, an engraved silver collar and a replacement brass ferule. The ivory grip is carved to simulate staghorn and the silver collar is detailed 'Presented to A. Greenleest by L.P Call, 13 Sept 1865'. A rather short, but pretty stick. Complete and in good order. 31" x 3.5" x 1".
