'7lb' is stamped to the top of the grip and other stamps can been seen to the underside and top of the shoulder, including 'City of Bristol 1892'. 	14lb Brass Weight W64 Original quality, late 19th century, cast brass butcher's / grocer's 14lb weight with a ring grip to the top. '14lb' is impressed to the top of the grip and ' VR ' under a crown is to the top of the main body. Avery 4lb Flat Brass Weight, 2 available W61 Original quality, 1960/70's, 4lb flat brass weight, embossed to the top surface '4lb Avery'. Even considering the age, this weight is as good as mint condition and appears never to have been used. Complete and in good order. 	Run of 4 Nickel Weights W56 Run of four original quality matching, 1920/30's, nickel butcher's or grocer's shop weights 7lb, 4lb, 2lb and 1lb. These models are referred to as bell weights, due to their shape. These examples, in super condition, still retain the custom and excise lead plug to the underside. 1lb Ceramic Grocer's Weight W54 Original quality, late 19th century, off white, ceramic butcher's/grocer's shop weight, transfer printed to the top '1lb'. The lead infill is still intact and is stamped with a VR custom and excise mark. This weight is generally very clean, but it does have a substantial visible chip to the bottom edge at the back, otherwise all is complete and in good order. 3" diameter and 2.25" high. 	2lb Ceramic Grocer's Weight W53 Original quality, late 19th century, off white, ceramic butcher's or grocer's shop weight, transfer printed to the top 'Imperial 2lb'. The lead infill is still intact to the underside although it is difficult to make out any custom and excise marks. The ceramic is well rubbed to the underside and is discoloured in places. It is complete, without any chips or cracks. There is a lighter patch to the top to the right of the dot after 'lb.', this could be an old restored chip or just a discolouration but it has certainly been there some years. 3.75" diameter and 3.25" high. 200 Troy Ounce Brass Weight W52 Original quality, 19th century, cast pink brass cylindrical weight with a top looped hand grip. The top of the handle is impressed '200', I presume for 200 troy ounces, and 'WR' is stamped to the top of the body - possibly for William IV ? (1830 to 1837). A very small upper cased 'P' and '8' is also stamped to the underside. The main body is marked all over with small nicks consistent with use and all is complete and in good order otherwise. 	300 Troy Ounce Brass Weight W51 Original quality, 19th century, cast pink brass cylindrical weight with a top looped hand grip. The top of the handle is impressed '300', I presume for 300 troy ounces, and 'WR' is stamped to the top of the body - possibly for William IV ? (1830 to 1837). A very small upper cased 'P' and '8' is also stamped to the underside. The main body is marked all over with small nicks consistent with use and all is complete and in good order otherwise. Parnall & Son 2lb Brass Weight W50 Original quality, late 19th century, all brass, circular flat grocer's weight of the stacking type. The underside has the lead infill custom mark which is not clear and the top is impressed '2lb', 'City of Bristol', 'Parnall & Sons Bristol' for the manufacturer, 'CB' over a 'C' beneath a crown, 'Solid' and two dates '1883' and '1893'. 	4lb Brass Weight W47 Original quality, 19th century, bottle shaped, brass cased 4lb grocer's/butcher's weight. This brass weight, filled with lead, is impressed '4lb' and 'Cased' to the top and has 'VR30' and a crown impressed to the lead infill to the underside. 	50lb Brass County Weight W32 Original quality, cast brass 50lb 'County' bar weight, circa 1900, used by the weights & measures dept. Custom & excise, for checking retailers' scales and weights. Engraved to the top '50lb' and 'Avoir', to one side, 'Borough of Stafford' for the county as used and 'De Grave & Co, London' to the other side for the maker. Many very clear custom stamps can be seen to the front side, the earliest being 1904 up to 1961. An unusual, impressive brass weight with good provenance.
