Original, quality late 18th or early 19th century, surface mounted cast brass door lock to take a standard modern square bar for the handles. A replacement keep has been made to suit and an old key altered to fit. This lock has the provision for a handle turn, a key lock and a security slide on the inside of the room, which overrides the handles and the key lock and has a double throw to the lock. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. Lock 6.75" x 3.75" and 1" front to back.

Original, quality Second World War heavy brown glazed ceramic teapot of a squat design with a handle to the front as well as to the rear. This unusual example is detailed to the underside "G VI R" for the reign of King George VI "Bourne & Son Ltd" for the manufacturer and "1943". This would have been issued for use in government offices and the like and perhaps staff quarters in the Royal Households. Complete and in good and working order. 5" tall x 8" wide and 11.5" wide including spout and handle.

Original, quality 1920's superb mounted Fox Mask on the original oak shield. This example mounted by Spicers of Leamington the finest Taxidermist of Fox Masks and similar, is a most unusual pose with the ears down in submission. The condition of this mount is outstanding in every detail quite the best we have seen. The original oak backboard in the standard Spicers shape is impressed to the reverse "P.Spicer & Sons Taxidermists Leamington" and also '3210' for Spicers catalogue number. Original, quality white ceramic teapot with lid, printed to one side "Special message from The Rt Hon D. Lloyd George Prime Minister", "I have no hesitation in saying that economy in the consumption and use of food in this country is a matter of the greatest possible importance to the Empire at the present time". The other side has a coloured Coat and Arms and the underside has "Made by The girls of Staffordshire during the winter of 1917 when the boys were in the trenches fighting for Liberty and Civilisation. The locking lid has a large chip to the underside, barely visible when locked on otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. The first we have seen of this example. 5" tall x 5" wide and 7" long including handle and spout.

Original, quality goblet shaped ceramic jardiniere manufactured by Fieldings as "Crown Devon Ware". This perfect example has a background of blush pastel shades of cream and beige with floral decoration in the form of hanging bowls of flowers with swags of roses. The underside is transfer printed "Crown Devon S F & Co Stoke on Trent England", "Etria" for the design and with the registration number for the year 1911. Some minor crazing to the interior otherwise complete and in good and working order with not a crack or chip in sight. 10" tall, top aperture 8.75" and widest 11".

Original, quality late 19th century two handled white ceramic mug, referred as loving cups when having two side handles. This example has a curling ribbon all around the centre with an interwoven garland of flowers and blue line trim to the tops of the side handles and rim. Some crazing to the interior and some staining to one side, lower half of the body and although it sounds dull due to the crazing, all is complete and in good order otherwise. 4.5" tall x 4.5" body diam and 7" wide including handles.

Original, quality mid to late 19th century Sheffield plated "Standish" with the original pair of cut glass inkwells. This super example has a highly pierced gallery on three sides all with a rope twist trim and stands on four fancy bracket feet. The inkwells also have a pierced frame for each to sit in and a matching hinged Sheffield plated cap. The upper surface of the tray has been engraved for a previous owner "M.H" and is bleeding through to copper in many areas. The underside is impressed with a rising sun maker's mark and "England". All is in great condition and complete. 12.5" x 8" and 3.5" tall. Each inkwell 2.5" x 2.5" and 2.5" tall.

Original, quality gentleman's size 7 silk top hat in superb condition with the original card box, velvet brushing pad, wedding photograph of original owner when new in 1913 and other copies of related documents. The box is scruffy hence the hat is near immaculate with only some staining to the inner leather headband. The lining of this hat is detailed for the retailer "Billet & Co Faringdon Road Swindon" and the brushing pad was supplied and detailed as such for Billet & Co. The original sepia wedding photograph taken by "Protheroe & Simons Swindon" shows a William Boucher as the Bridegroom wearing this same hat. The actual photograph is in good order with just some damage to the surround. Two sheets of copies of various documents are also included detailing a potted history of this W. Boucher hat. Original, quality late 19th century fireproof safe with the exterior sandblasted and stove enamelled gloss black and cold painted primer grey inside. The brass fittings to the inner drawer and the door are all original and have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The locks have been fully overhauled and has two keys for the door and one for the drawer and the brass plaque is detailed for the manufacturer "T. Withers & Son & Sons West Bromwich". All is complete and in good and working order. Exterior 24" tall x 18" and 17.5" front to back. Interior 14" tall x 12" and 10.5" front to back plus drawer.

Original, quality 1920's spherical shaped heavy brass ball finial for a stairway newel post. This unusual example has a shaped neck and a good plinth. A concealed circular mounting plate has been made to suit with three countersunk screw holes for fixing to the top of a wooden newel post at the foot of the stairs. Cleaned and lacquered but can be polished to a shiny brass on request for no extra cost. 7.25" tall x 4.75" widest and base collar 4.25" diam.

These have been sandblasted in the past and do show the finely detailed casting. The lower section has Acanthus leaf decoration and mythical fish designs and the upper section, a face to both sides. The reverse has a registration lozenge mark for the year 1842 to 1883. All are complete and in good order. 39" x 7.25" and 2.5" front to back. Main stem 2" front to back max at base. 3 Piece Carving Set CS54
Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's three piece steel meat carving set in the original leather paper covered box. The box interior is lined with red silk to the lid and red velvet to the base. The knife is etched for the maker "T.Turner & Co Cutlers to His Majesty", the sharpening steel is stamped 'cast steel', the fork has a good sprung guard, all have silver ferrules and chip carved buffalo horn handles made to appear as Stag Antler. Remember, these pieces of cutlery are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they dislike water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly. Some shrinkage to the paper covering on the box, otherwise complete and in good and working order. Box 15.5" x 4.75" x 1.75". Price is for the set.

Original, pre-war enamel electric light fitting with pure white enamel to the underside and leaf green to the upper. This large bowl shaped fitting, originally industrial lighting, has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex and a new brass UK bulb holder. An old cast iron ceiling rose and a length of new chromed chain is included. Fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order. Although the upper green enamel is super clean and bright the white enamel has some minor damage to the surface and chips to the rim. A great run of hanging lighting units for the kitchen or workplace. Shade 14.25" diam and 9.5" tall. Chain 19", ceiling rose 2.5" diam and 2" tall. Price is for each.

Original, quality, circa 1900, mounted brace of Tench in a bow fronted glazed cabinet with glazed end panels. This super example has all the quality and realism of a Cooper mount but no detailed label to that effect, however the label does detail who caught them and where and the weights. "Caught by T.Potter, July 15th, 1901 Weights 4lbs and 4lb 2ozs". Again great groundwork typical of Cooper. The exterior of the case has been cleaned and repainted black and the original wire loops are intact for wall mounting. Complete and in good order. Cabinet 39" x 15.5" tall plus loop and 8" front to back at centre of bow front.
