Original, quality, late 19th century, single cast iron shelf bracket with detail in the Aestetic Movement style and embossed "AK and Son No 12" for the maker A Kenrick and Sons of West Bromwich. This single bracket has three countersunk screw holes to the backplate for mounting and three to the top bar. All has been cleaned and repainted black and is complete and in good and working order. 8" x 6" + 1".

Kenrick Cast Iron Exterior Bell Pull BP246
Original, quality unused late 19th century cast iron exterior bell pull in the original bronzed lacquer finish. The spherical shaped pull knob is mounted within a circular dished backplate with a pierced outer frame. This example is impressed to the exterior of the dish for the manufacturer "A Kenrick and Son"of West Bromwich. For use with a tight wire, non electric bell system and other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock and many other bell fittings of differing types may well be available. Replacement rear spring and washers have been fitted. All is complete and in good and working order. Outer frame 6" diameter, knob 2" total to be recessed, 3" diam bowl and 2" front to back.

Original, quality late 19th century 'No 1' cast iron coffee grinder with a brass maker's label to the front detailing "Archibald Kenrick and Sons Ltd West Bromwich". A brass knob to the pull out drawer at the front, a brass hopper to the top and a cranked handle with a turned hardwood finial grip. The side lugs enable the grinder to be fixed to a shelf or a table and the grind can be adjusted with a screwdriver from the underside when the drawer is removed. Much of the original black paintwork is visible and has been cleaned and waxed and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra. Complete and in good and working order. 7" tall including handle, 7.5" widest including handle, base 5.5" wide including lugs and 4.5" front to back.

Original, quality late 19th century "Number 1" all cast iron coffee grinder, with a brass maker's label and brass knob to the drawer front. This example has a cast iron hopper to the top with a white enamelled inside and a cranked handle with a turned hardwood knob/grip. The brass label details "A. Kenrick and Sons Patent Coffee Mill" for the manufacturer from West Bromwich and royal an a coat of Arms. The side lugs enable the grinder to be fixed to a shelf or a table and the grind can be adjusted with a screwdriver from the underside when the drawer is removed. Much of the original black paintwork is evident and all has been cleaned and lacquered, fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. Base including lugs 5.5" and 4.5" front to back. Total 6.75" tall and 8" wide both including handles.

Original, quality circa 1900, cast iron coatrack with five turned beech hat and coat pegs, all linked up with steel straps giving the facility to fold up into a suitcase when travelling. Impressed to the reverse "AK & Sons No 2" for the manufacturer. These are hung on the wall when required, using the three mounting rings fitted. All is in the original finish and appears to have had very little use. Complete and in good and working order. Folded up for travelling 5.5" x 5.5" x 3.5" and mounted on wall as in picture 22" x 10.5" x 3.5".

Kenrick Cast Iron Cork Squeezer CS4
Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, highly decorative cast iron cork press as used by the chemist shops and dispensaries and / or for wine bottling, to compress corks before dropping them into the bottle necks. This example will take three different sized corks and is the most decorative we have seen, both the top and base are covered in deep relief detail of acanthus leaves. The underside of the handle is impressed "No 7" for the model size, "A.Kenrick and Son" for the manufacturer and iron foundry of West Bromwich. Cleaned, lacquered, complete and in fantastic condition. Base 8.25" x 3", total 11" x 2.5".

Original, quality late 19th century very detailed small cast iron door knocker of the drop bar design. The backplate has acanthus leaves all around and the reverse is impressed "291B" for the model number and "Kenrick" for the manufacturer / iron foundry A Kenrick & Son of West Bromwich. The original bolts and cast iron nuts are included and all has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. 7.5" x 3.5" wide and 1.5" front to back.

Original, quality late 19th century very decorative cast iron door knocker of the drop loop form with Acanthus leaf designs with a bud to the top. An original brass plate is mounted to the top for engraving with name of the house or the residents. The original cast and hand cut threaded nuts have been retained as have the bolts. The reverse is impressed "Kenrick" for the maker A. K. Kenrick Iron Foundry West Bromwich. All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. A most unusual example. 8.75" x 3.75" and 1.5" front to back.

Long run of original, quality, 1920's / 30's, oval shaped cast iron door numbers, each with two countersunk screw holes for mounting, raised numbers to the front and impressed to the reverse "No 7" and "A Kenrick and Sons" for the manufacturers from West Bromwich, near Birmingham. These have been cleaned and repainted in the original white on black and are complete and in good order. 4" x 2.5" and 0.25". Only the numbers in the picture are available. Price is for each. Original quality, 19th century, cast iron goffering iron with a wrought iron neck and circular cast iron base. The iron is impressed '13' for the size and embossed 'Kenrick' for the manufacturer A.Kenrick of West Bromwich. Sadly lacking the heating poker but otherwise complete and in good order, cleaned and lacquered. Base 4.5", height 7.5" and bullet shaped body 6" x 1.25".

Original, quality, unused, cast iron clockwork spit (bottlejack) bracket, circa 1900 / 1920's. Originally mounted on the wall or fire surround to enable the spit to be suspended in front of the open fire. This example will lock away from the wall when in use and flat against the wall when not. The backplate has four countersunk screw holes for mounting and is impressed to the reverse "No 1" and "AK & Sons" for the manufacturer Archibald Kenrick of West Bromwich and the arm is marked "No 1" and "8"". In the original black paintwork, as issued and complete and in good and working order. Backplate 3" x 2", 8.25" wide when against the wall, 8.25" front to back when in use.

Original, quality 1920's, door security chain with a rectangular shaped cast iron backplate with six countersunk screw holes for mounting and a detachable wrought iron chain with a swivel and a cast iron backplate with four countersunk screw holes. The reverse of the backplate to the chain is impressed "113", "5TO6" and "Kenrick" for the manufacturer A Kenrick and Sons of West Bromwich. Cleaned and lacquered and complete and in good and working order. Backplate 7" x 2", chain 8.5" long and backplate 2" x 1.25".
