Original, quality 1920's brass based sweet shop counter scale with brass pan and scoop and a full stack of eight circular brass weights from 2lb down to ¼ ounce. The scale has two labels attached detailing "To Weigh" and "4lbs" a circular brass pan for the weights and a pears shaped brass scoop. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. This is the first we have seen of this model. Original, quality pair of 18th or early 19th century spherical shaped brass door knobs with a replacement circular brass backplate and a square section steel bar made to suit. These have been converted to fit both standard rim and mortice locks and latches. These were originally fitted by the blacksmith for each lock and door as required and although we have converted these to fit standard locks and latches, we do need to alter each bar and fitting in length to suit your door and lock measurements. So when ordering these handles, we require the measurement of the thickness of your door and if a rim lock is fitted, the thickness of your lock also. When you receive the handles after our adjustment, it will fit your door and lock precisely. Other pairs, very similar, should be available on request. Complete and in good and working order. Backplates 2" diam, knobs, 2" diam and 2" front to back. Price is per pair.

Original, quality late 19th century wall mounted coatrack, all in the original finish. This super example has five matching brass hat and coat hooks with cast brass backplates and white ceramic finials. All mounted on a shaped walnut backboard in the original "wood grained" painted finish. Fix to wall by removing the end hooks, use the holes provided, then refit the coat hooks to conceal the wall screws. The hooks can be polished to shiny brass for no extra charge if required. Original, quality 18th or early 19th century surface mounted brass door lock to take a standard modern square bar for the handles. With an old key altered to fit and a replacement keep made to suit. This lock has the provision for a handle turn, a key lock and a security slide on the inside of the room, which overrides the handles and the key lock. This lock has concealed fixings, so when mounted no screws are visible. Original, quality late 19th century barrel shaped cream coloured glazed stoneware storage tub originally used to store curved ox tongues in Butchers' Shops. This example has been manufactured to accurately resemble a barrel with faux slats and bands and a hole to the base for a tap and cup handles to each side. The interior is glazed in pale blue and has two minor short hairline cracks from the top (see picture), all is complete and in good and working order otherwise. The top is fitted with a lift off and hinged pine lid with cast iron hinges and steel pull handle.Very heavy and only the second one we have seen. Barrel 26.5" tall and 1" lid. 18.5" widest and inside top aperture 13.5".

Original, quality superb late 19th century large Brown Trout, caught at Sunbury on Thames in 1864 and mounted in a bow fronted glazed case by Cooper. This great example, larger than average for a Thames Trout, has all the good groundwork as expected for a Cooper mount, with a paper label to the top inner left corner detailing "Preserved by J. Cooper, 28 Radnor Street, St Luke London EC". The front of the bowed glass has gilt lines around and "Caught by Mr Lamport at Sunbury June 1864 Weight 6 ¼lbs". The case has been cleaned and repainted black to the reverse and has two hanging loops to the top. Complete and in good order. 15.5" tall + loops 1". 30.5" long and 7.5" front to back at centre.
