The reverse has a cast iron weight for counterbalance and the reverse of the loop is impressed "England". 3 Matching WT&S 5" Brass Door Hinges DH53
Original, quality set of three late 19th century heavy brass door hinges, each with ten countersunk screw holes for mounting. Each hinge is impressed to the reverse with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son of Birmingham' and have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may beremoved at no extra cost. Interestingly two hinges are in pink brass and one in yellow and the pink ones are both impressed to the front "C Smith & Son Birm", the countersunk holes also differ between the pink and yellow. Otherwise all are identical and complete and in good and working order. Each hinge 5" x 1.75" closed. Price is for the set.

Original, quality serious Art and Crafts copper and brass teapot circa 1880 / 1900, designed and manufactured by WAS Benson. This super example has a "genie lamp" shape with a copper body and cast brass spout, loop handle, circular base and circular lid with a turned horn finial grip. There is no doubt this was manufactured by Benson, although it is not marked as such. Apart from a minor dent to one side on the upper rim, all is complete and in good and working order and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 5.5" tall, 7.5" wide including handle and spout + 4.25" front to back. Both the undersides are impressed "676" and all has been cleaned and lacquered and are complete and in good and working order. 11.5" tall, 6.5" wide at front and 7" front to back.

Original, quality circa 1880 / 1900 copper tea tray of an unusual form designed by W.A.S. Benson in the Arts and Crafts manner. This super oval tray with a soft gallery and rolled over ends to act as handles is not marked for Benson but it is known he did not mark every item he produced but this model was designed by him and is well documented. The upper surface has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, and the underside has been left in the patinated finish. Complete and in good order. 22" long x 9" wide and 1.5" tall.

Original, quality circa 1900, cast iron coatrack with five turned beech hat and coat pegs, all linked up with steel straps giving the facility to fold up into a suitcase when travelling. Impressed to the reverse "AK & Sons No 2" for the manufacturer. These are hung on the wall when required, using the three mounting rings fitted. All is in the original finish and appears to have had very little use. Complete and in good and working order. Folded up for travelling 5.5" x 5.5" x 3.5" and mounted on wall as in picture 22" x 10.5" x 3.5".

The inch scales are punched but the maker's details and many other details for postal rates, postal orders and money orders are embossed and very worn and faint.
