Original, quality pair of 19th century three piece wooden short boot trees in polished beech. Each tree has a hinged main foot piece, a heel section and a slide in central section to tighter each tree when inside the boot. Each tree has two engraved brass plaques one detailing the original owner "PC Tarbutt Esq" and the other "M. Wildsmith & Sons, makers 17 Jermyn St London SW". Each tree also has its sections marked according to left boot or right boot. A super very usable pair of boot trees, size not indicated but complete and in good and working order. 9.75" tall x 10.5" long and 3.5" widest.

Pair of original, quality late 19th century short boot trees in beech with an extending heel action, a pivoting foot and brass fittings. Each tree has a circular embossed copper plaque for the retailer/manufacturer "Peal and Co 487 Oxford St". All has been cleaned and refinished, and the brass and copper has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A super pair of boot tree, complete and in good and working order. Heel extended 11.5" x 3.5" and 9.5" tall. Heel in 11" x 11.5" tall.

Black Forest Carved Coatrack CR81
Original, quality, late 19th century, Swiss 'Black Forest' carved wood, wall mounted hat and coatrack. This superb all wood example has a Chamois head and neck to the centre, with oak leaves and branches behind and beneath, incorporating a hanging loop to the top and three pegs to the front. All is realistically carved, with the horns painted black and the original glass eyes. Quite the best I have seen for a while. Some good repairs to the tips of some oak leaves and the horns. Now complete and in good order. A delicate but sturdy and usable hat and coatrack. 16.25" wide x 9" tall + 4.5" front to back.

Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, two piece intercom tube mount in lignum vitae and fitted to the original brass and iron pipe mounts.The mouthpiece and whistle are in super condition and work well. These were used in smart houses and hotels etc for communicating to different floors. This example would have another at the other end of the pipe. Most unusual to find these in good order today. Flange 2" diameter, whistle 2.5" long, total (as in photo) 5" x 2".

The bottle is embossed "Swan Ink" with a swan and "Trade Mark" and is retained in the spring loaded turned wooden case with a screw on shaped top. The box is finished in the original red stain and the underside is impressed with the Swan trademark and "Box Made in US". Original, quality 1920's large, impressive framed and glazed fretwork of "The Lords Prayer". This unusual example has a fretted oak frame and a fretworked prayer in several styles of types, a few different brown colours and blue and white against a tin foil background, all behind a clear glazed panel. Some minor parts missing in the frame, the backing has been repapered and some very minor damage in places to the fretwork otherwise all generally in good order and complete. The reverse has been repapered. 33" x 23.5" x 1".

This example has painted decoration detailing an elephant with a coronet howdah, surrounded by a laurel wreath, all beneath the monogram "G.R" with a large Royal Crown above. One bracing plate is impressed for the maker "James Howarth Sheffield", the inset plate to the head, "James Howarth Broomspring Works" and the mouth of the chuck is stamped '98' or '89' perhaps for the year? All has been cleaned, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Fully overhauled, and complete and in good and working order. A seriously good example in super condition and the first brace by this maker we have had. 13.75" x 5.5" x 1.25" body and 3" diam x 0.75" head.

Original, quality late 19th century superb button chuck brace in beech, with a cocobolo head with a brass inset maker's plate and a button chuck in brass. The chuck is stamped for the manufacturer "D.Flather and Sons Warranted", and the head has a Royal Coat of Arms and "D.Flather and Sons Solly Works Sheffield". The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, and the original finish to the wood enhanced.
