	Shop Door Bell B131 Original, quality, shop door bell fashioned using a 19th Century brass bell, with a replacement steel spring and brass door mounts made to suit. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost and the steel spring cleaned and repainted black. Shop Door Bell B130 Original, quality, shop door bell fashioned using a 19th Century brass bell, with a replacement steel spring and brass door mounts made to suit. 	Brass Handbell B129 Original, quality, mid 19th century, cast brass handbell, with a turned rosewood handle and blacksmith made wrought iron clapper. The top of the bell is impressed "9" for the size and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. ARP Handbell B128 Original, quality, cast brass handbell, with the original turned beech handle and cast iron ball and chain clapper. The rim is impressed "ARP" for 'Air Raid Personnel', the brass ferrule is stamped "Fiddian" and the top of the bell "JB" for the maker 'James Barwell, of Birmingham' and "39" for the year 1939. This bell was provided for use by Air Raid Personnel to warn of air bombing raids overhead during World War Two. 'Fiddian' is the trade mark for the manufacturer of the bell 'James Barwell, of Birmingham'. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. 	Brass Musical Handbell B116 Original, quality 1920's musical handbell with a leather loop strap and collar and a leather mounted ball and flight clapper. This bell has maker's stamps on the leather top collor and 'A' to the strap. Amazingly this bell has a good repair to a large old crack and it still rings and resonates well. Cast Brass Bell B113 Original, quality, mid to late 19th Century, cast brass bell with a blacksmith made, wrought iron clapper - probably from a school bell tower or similar. No maker's marks, but a good heavy bell with a really loud tone and a good colour. Complete and in good and working order. 7.25" diameter of mouth and total 9" tall. Run of No.3 Brass Rumbler Bells, 7 Available B112 Original, quality, late 19th Century, cast brass, small rumbler or crotal bell. The front is decorated with a petal design, very similar to the bells produced by the Wells Bell Foundry of Aldbourne, but these bells are only marked No.3' and have been polished over the years. 	Octave Hand Chimes B98 Original, quality, late 19th Century, hand held octave of nickel plated on brass bell domes, mounted inside each other on a central shaft, with a hanging hook to one end and a ribbed ebony hand grip to the other. This would need to be struck with a beater / hammer for no provision for clappers is evident. Two bells are cracked, but only one is dull, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. Is this a musical instrument from an orchestra, or a novelty octave of bells? One would not want to hold it for very long as it is rather top heavy, the hook at the top, therefore, would enable it to be hung up temporarily whilst taking a rest. 14" long and 3.75" largest diameter. 	Brass Muffin Bell B94 Original, quality late 19th Century muffin sellers' hand bell. This bell has two half dome bells, a swinging double clapper within and a turned yew wood handle with a steel suspension ring the end. This bell gives a delightful double ring if handled properly and a good resonance. All is complete and in good and working order; not easily found these days. Huge Hand Bell B79 Original quality, 1920's, huge cast brass hand bell of Town Crier proportions with a super turned elm hand grip and a blacksmith made wrought iron clapper. 	Huge Town Crier's Handbell B70 Original quality huge, late 19th century, cast brass handbell with a replacement mahogany handle copied from the original, which was badly split and damaged. A replacement clapper has also been fitted made from a large old blacksmith made wrought iron nail, and a chip to the outer rim of the bell has been well repaired. William & Robert Cor Bell B17 Original quality, late 17th century small brass bell on an old leather strap with the original blacksmith made clapper and marked to the inside with the 'dabchick' mark and 'W R C O R' for the bell founder from Aldbourne, Wiltshire. Two casting blemishes to bell but otherwise complete and in good and working order, with a perfect tone. Another similar may be available ref. B16. 4.25" tall x 4" diameter of mouth. Each window has a red star paper label to the signals and this example can be reset by a brass chain to one side. This board is for use with a 12 volt, low voltage electric supply system. Electric Indicator Board IB131 Original, quality, large, electric indicator board circa 1900, in a teak cabinet with twelve windows, on a black glazed panel with red painted indicators.This board is for use with a 12 volt, low voltage electric supply system. The other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. The windows are marked for: 'Reception Office, Ladies Lavatory, Bathroom, Bedrooms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.'. Also detailed for the maker / installer 'F. A. Pine, Electrical Contractor, 4 & 9 Taunton Road, Bridgwater'. The black paintwork to the back of the glass is faded in places and, although no black is missing, it is smokey grey in areas. 	Electric Indicator Board IB46 Original quality electric indicator board, circa 1900, in a teak cabinet with a mahogany front and a ply backboard. The front black glazed panel has twenty windows with gilt room numbers and white card indicators also with room numbers on. For use with a 12 volt low voltage electric supply system. The coil and indicator is missing from room 20 but otherwise all has been overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. Brass Counter Bell CB66 Original, quality, late 19th century, brass counter bell, sideways mounted on a honey coloured oak base, within a cast brass frame supporting two clappers, one to either side. These bells were used on shop or hotel counters and hall tables, and can be sounded by depressing one or both of the side hammers. An unusual example with four brass ball feet to the underside and an original paper label referring to a retailer in Paris. This table/counter bell was manufactured in England and has obviously been supplied to the retailer in Paris. A very unusual example. Base 6" x 3.25" x 5.25" tall. Brass Counter Bell CB59 Original, quality late 19th Century, large cast brass counter bell. These bells were used on shop or hotel counters and hall tables. The cast pink brass dome is mounted on a shaped central brass column, with a relief decorated cast brass petal shaped base. The externally mounted sprung brass clapper has a cast brass finial, as has the top of the dome bell. All has been polished and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order.
