	Octave Hand Chimes B98 Original, quality, late 19th Century, hand held octave of nickel plated on brass bell domes, mounted inside each other on a central shaft, with a hanging hook to one end and a ribbed ebony hand grip to the other. This would need to be struck with a beater / hammer for no provision for clappers is evident. Two bells are cracked, but only one is dull, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. Is this a musical instrument from an orchestra, or a novelty octave of bells? One would not want to hold it for very long as it is rather top heavy, the hook at the top, therefore, would enable it to be hung up temporarily whilst taking a rest. 14" long and 3.75" largest diameter. Brass Hand Bell B97 Original, quality, brass hand bell, circa 1900/1920's, of an unusual shape with a super turned ebony handle. The original lacquer is still visible to the inside and on the cast brass clapper. A good tone and it resonates well. Has been polished and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. 	1932 Silver Trophy for Bell Ringing B96 Original, quality, hall marked silver, small trophy cup for bell ringing. Engraved to the front is: 'Bell Ringing Competition, 1932. Won by East Woodhay, A. Brass Muffin Bell B94 Original, quality late 19th Century muffin sellers' hand bell. This bell has two half dome bells, a swinging double clapper within and a turned yew wood handle with a steel suspension ring the end. This bell gives a delightful double ring if handled properly and a good resonance. All is complete and in good and working order; not easily found these days. 	Brass Hand Bell B93 Original, quality 19th Century cast brass hand bell of the school bell size, with the original turned walnut handle and cast brass clapper. This example, in the old green patinated finish, is marked 'E S' near the throat for the bellfounder from York, Edward Sellers. E.Plumer Bell B88 Original, quality, 18th century, small bell with a blacksmith made wrought iron clapper and embossed to the inside " E.Plumer". This example was probably a sheep bell or a household intercom bell, has a good colour, sound and a clear mark for the maker believed to have cast bells in Ramsbury, Wiltshire. Robert Wells No 20 Rumbler Bell, 2 available B83 Original quality, mid to late 18th century, large rumbler or crotal bell. Impressed with a petal pattern and "R.W." for the maker Robert Wells, the bell founder from Aldbourne in Wiltshire. This example, often worn by sheep or road haulier's horses, has been mounted with a blacksmith made wrought iron frame, a spring catch and a spike for mounting on a road haulier's wagon. The bell is in the old patented green finish and has a good tone. Has been waxed and the spike for mounting has been cleaned and waxed also. A super sized rumbler bell by this renowned maker with the bonus of the wrought iron mount. Bell 4.25" diameter x total length with spike 16.5". Price is for each. 	ARP Handbell B76* Original quality, second world war, 'A.R.P.' brass handbell (air raid precautions) 1938 - 1945. With the original turned beech handle, brass ferrule and cast iron ball and chain clapper. The top of the bell is impressed 'J.B' for the bell maker and all has been polished, is complete and in good and working order. 10" tall and 5" mouth diameter. Huge Town Crier's Handbell B70 Original quality huge, late 19th century, cast brass handbell with a replacement mahogany handle copied from the original, which was badly split and damaged. A replacement clapper has also been fitted made from a large old blacksmith made wrought iron nail, and a chip to the outer rim of the bell has been well repaired. The pink cast bell dome is mounted on a detailed cast brass base, with three feet incorporated in the design, and has an internal clapper. The cast pink brass dome is mounted on a shaped central brass column, with a relief decorated cast brass petal shaped base.
