	1897 Presentation Silver Plated Galleried Tray T176 Original, quality late 19th century silver plated on nickel rectangular shaped tray with a very unusual gallery, four feet, and a grip handle to each end. This example has a very decorative pierced outer rim profusely engraved in great detail of acanthus leaves, acorns, oak leaves, thistles, roses and shamrocks and to the centre "Presented by The Congregation of St Georges-in-the-Fields Parish Church Glasgow along with a purse of Soverigns to the Rev, James Meikle M.A.B.D, on the occasion of this appointment as minister of the Parish of Alyth 29th June 1897". All is complete and probably one of the best silver plated tray we have seen. Some very minor rubbing, otherwise complete and in good and working order. Max 21.5" x 16" plus 4.25" tall. 	C.W.S Cream Cracker Biscuit Tin T123 Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's decorated biscuit tin in the form of an inlaid wooden glove box. The inner lid is detailed "C.W.S Cream Crackers, Crumpsall Cardiff" for the original contents "C.W.S" is for Co-op Wholesale Society. 	Cast Iron Letter Embosser LE18 Original, quality late 19th century cast iron letter embosser with the original paintwork to the press and fitted with an unknown two piece letter embossing plates. The maker or wholesaler of this press is detailed to the rear end for "H.T. Woodrow & Co Ltd Liverpool". Some chips to the paintwork, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. 	Quart Ceramic Ale Measure M290 Original, quality late 19th century two pint ( Quart ) white ceramic ale measure, with a side handle and transfer printed to each side with a dark blue illustration entitled "Barley" with a sheaf of Barley. The handle is decorated with ears of barley and the underside "E. Coaney & Cos", "Ko Dale Stone", "Dale End Birmingham" and with the registration number for the year 1891. The front is this measure is also acid etched in the glaze "Quart with a crown & V.R.6". Perfect in every aspect and complete. 6.5" tall. 6.75" wide including handle. Total 4.25" diam. 	Steel Cased Rim Latch DL114 Original, quality 1920's steel cased surface mounted door latch. Will take a standard modern square bar for the handles. A replacement keep has been made to suit. This latch has the provision for a handle turn and a security slide on the inside of the room, which overrides the handles and this latch can be used on both left and right handed doors. This lock has the provision for a handle turn and a privacy slide. The file marks are the original to when the lock was manufactured. 	Glass Newal Post Finial NP4 Original, quality late 19th century spherical shaped glass Newal Post Finial, probably continental. This super example has circular facets and a star design to the top all cut through the cranberry glass overlay to show clear glass. The brass foot is the original, although the base mounting plate with four holes for fixing is a replacement made to suit. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. There are a few minor chips to the glass and considerable scratching, otherwise all is complete and in good order. An unusual item to find today. 6.5" total height. Glass sphere 4.5" diam. This good example has a steel sliding bolt, a brass finial grip, seven countersunk screw holes for mounting to the backplate and three to the keep. A replacement steel backplate made to suit has been fitted to the reverse and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 	106 / 901 Brass House Number HN48 Original, quality late 19th century cast brass number "106" or "901" the other way up with an embossed number in Gothic Font and a decorative border with eight screw holes for mounting. This example was taken from the end of a rejected pine pew from St Lawrence's Church in Hungerford Berkshire and is complete and in good order. 3.5" diam. Each letter 1" tall. 	Cast Iron Cork Squeezer CS6 Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, cast iron cork press as used by the chemist shops and dispensaries to compress small corks before dropping them into medicine bottlenecks. This example will take four different-sized corks, has deep relief decoration in the form of acanthus leaves and has four feet, each with a countersunk screw hole for mounting to the work table. 	Kenrick Cast Iron Door Knocker with Letter Flap DK418 Original, quality late 19th century cast iron vertical letter flap with an integral door knocker of the drop loop form. This most unusual example, the first we have seen, is embossed with "Letters" to the flap and otherwise all detailed with good Art Nouveau decoration. Replacement nuts, bolts and springs have been fitted and has been cleaned and repainted black. The reverse is impressed with the registration number for the year 1889 and for the manufacturer "A.
