	Fruitwood Truncheon PT46 Original, quality, 1920's, fruitwood truncheon with good ribbing to the grip and the original leather wrist strap. Probably made by 'Hiatt of Birmingham', but not marked as such. This example is shorter than normal, has a good colour and, apart from some grain splits, is complete and in good order. Mounted Police Truncheon PT45 Original, quality, pre-war, extra long truncheon with the original leather wrist strap, originally issed to the mounted police. 	Hickory Truncheon PT44 Original, quality, 1920's, turned hickory, police type truncheon in a super faded colour, with the remains of the leather wrist strap, to prove its authenticity. Hiatt's Ebony Police Truncheon PT42 Original, quality, 1920's/30's, standard issue, ebony police truncheon, stamped to the end for the manufacturer: 'Hiatt and Co Birmingham'. 	Ebony Military Police Truncheon PT41 Original, quality, 1920's/30's, standard issue, ebony police truncheon. Stamped to the side 'M.P.' with a crown for Military Police. 	Lignum Vitae Military Police Truncheon PT39 Original, quality, police truncheon, circa 1900/1920's, turned in 'lignum vitae' with a super variation in colour of the grain. Northampton County Asylum Button PT34 Original, quality, 1930's, nickel, uniform button embossed 'Northampton County Asylum' around a Tudor Rose and impressed to the brass plate on the reverse for the manufacturer 'Firmin & Sons Ltd, London' around the eye. 	Pair of Wrought Iron Hand Cuffs with Key HC11 Pair of original, quality war department issued, wrought iron handcuffs with the original key. Marked "J.G 1952" to each bracelet and with the war department crow's foot mark. The key is stamped "KE2770". All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and good and working order. Pair of Wrought Iron Handcuffs with Key HC10 Original, quality, pair of War Department issued, wrought iron handcuffs with the original key. Both the key and the cuffs are stamped 'KF 2770' and with the crow's foot stamp for the War Department. Both the cuffs are also stamped 'JG 1952' presumably for the year of issue. Cleaned, lacquered and complete and in good and working order. 9.5" x 4" x 0.75". Another silimar item may well be available, reference code HC11. Click on photo for larger and other views.
