Lignum Vitae Military Police Truncheon PT39 Original, quality, police truncheon, circa 1900/1920's, turned in 'lignum vitae' with a super variation in colour of the grain. 	Unused Battery Handlamp PT35* Original, quality, pre-war, unused battery handlamp / torch in the original mint condition black japanned painted finish and in the original white card box. The lamp has a belt hook a pair of folding handgrips and provision to the top for the spare bulb. The front of the lamp is stamped 'ER' with a kings crown and the box is detailed 'Handlamp Electric, Police Type' and 'As Spec MW/CS/105'. All is complete and in good order. Box 6.5" x 4" x 2.75". Northampton County Asylum Button PT34 Original, quality, 1930's, nickel, uniform button embossed 'Northampton County Asylum' around a Tudor Rose and impressed to the brass plate on the reverse for the manufacturer 'Firmin & Sons Ltd, London' around the eye. 	Truncheon PT28 Original quality, late 19th century, truncheon, turned in 'Laburnum' wood with the original leather wrist strap. Although this wood resembles Lignum Vitae, I believe it to be laburnum and the contrast between the two colours in the grain is stunning and makes a superb piece of turned treen. 	Pair of Wrought Iron Handcuffs HC8 A pair of original, quality, late 19th Century, wrought iron handcuffs with the original, screw in key. These are the standard security force handcuffs, with two lockable wristlets with a swivel fitting between. This example is stamped for the manufacturer 'Griffin and Nichols' and 'No 7' for the size. The City Police or Fire Whistle W11 Original, quality nickel plated whistle, circa 1900, of the type manufactured by Hudson and Co, not marked as such, but stamped 'The City Police or Fire Whistle'. 	Police Station Electric Indicator Board IB103 Original quality, 1920's, electric indicator board in a beech cabinet, with ten windows within a cream coloured panel behind glass and with card mounted red star indicators. This originally came from a police station in Scotland and the room details are for the "Side" and "Front doors" and "Cells 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5". For use with a 9 or 12 volt, low voltage electric supply system. The other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock.
