Original, quality mid to late 19th century large circular copper kettle with dovetailed seams to the rear and underside, a taller handle than average with horns to the back and front and most of all a circular hinged copper lid, a very unusual feature. James Yates Cast Iron Umbrella Stand
Original, quality superb early 19th century cast iron umbrella stand in outstanding condition. This example has two very decorative side supports of an open design with a matching three-railed top section with five-pointed finials, all mounted on a sturdy cast iron plinth with a lift-out full-length tray to catch the water from umbrellas and walking sticks. The underside of the tray and base are embossed with the manufacturer's details for "James Yates of Rotherham" and the "Registration Date January 27th 1843" and the same is engraved in a script to the underside of both end sections and the upper three railed top section. All is complete and in good and working order with no repairs, with nothing missing and all has been cleaned and finished in a coat of clear lacquer.

William Cor of Aldbourne Bell
Original, quality 18th century cast brass bell with a good repair in steel to the hanging eye. This super bell with a good tone, resonates well despite the hole to the side from when it was cast. This bell is embossed to the inside "W.I.Cor" for the bell foundry from Aldbourne and with the village emblem of a dabchick or "Little Grebe". All has been cleaned and is complete and in good and working order.

Ash Fully Fitted Wardrobe
Original, quality late 19th century fully fitted wardrobe in ash. This very clean example in the original finish can be dismantled into two main body sections plus the top cornice and base plinth, a total of four pieces. This wardrobe comprises the left-hand hanging section with an internal drawer to the base and the right-hand section has a twin-door cupboard with two adjustable shelves over four long drawers. The full set of original brass handles are in the unpolished finish but can be polished to shiny brass on request for no extra charge. All is original and complete and in good and working order.

Brown Westhead and Moore Wash Basin
Original, quality late 19th century circular ceramic washbasin with blue transfer decorations. This super example has an oval shaped bowl recess with acanthus leaf decoration and hearts to the rim, two oval soap recesses and a long oval toothbrush recess. The outer border of the circular rim also has a finer decoration of acanthus leaves design. The brass plughole has a replacement plug and chain in brass, copied from an original. The reverse is impressed "T.C. Brown Westhead Moore & Co" and transfer printed in blue with the company logo including "BWM & Co" and "Teutonic" for the pattern. Absolutely perfect and complete. A great looking handbasin ready to be plumbed in.

Holcroft 8 Pint Cast Iron Kettle
Original, quality eight pint cast iron kettle with the original tin lid. This super example is detailed to the front for the maker "Holcroft" and "8 pints" and with the patent number for the year 1932. The handle has finger grips for comfort and the lid has a brass label detailed "T. Holcroft & Sons Wolverhampton". Suitable for an 'Aga' stove and many others. All has been cleaned and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Brass Letter Balance
Original, quality late 19th century brass postal scale on the original mahogany plinth and with a full set of six brass stacking weights marked for 8oz, 4oz, 2oz, 1oz and 1/2oz x2. The postal rates detailed on the square pan are for the years 1885 to 1897. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Brass ' T' Bar Door Handles
Original, quality pair of late 19th century, cast pink brass door handles of the ' T ' bar form, with a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit both mortice and rim locks and latches. The pink cast brass circular backplates each have three concealed countersunk screw holes for mounting. These handles were probably from a greenhouse / conservatory door originally, but are most suitable for standard household doors also. All is complete and in good and working order.

14lb Parnall & Son Brass Weight
Original, quality late 19th century bell shaped grocers' / butchers' shop counter weight impressed to the top of the ring handle "14lb" and to the shoulders, "VR590" beneath the Royal Crown and a circular stamp containing the name of the manufacturer "Parnall & Sons Ltd, Narrow St, Bristol". All the original unpolished finish. Complete and in good order.

Wrought Iron & Brass Dinner Gong
Original, quality late 19th century blacksmith made wrought iron stand with curled decoration within the wrought iron and to the feet and top carrying handle and has four turned brass finials within the frame and a large circular brass gong suspended to the open centre. The gong has a hammered finish, a good loud sound and good resonance. The beater hangs to the rear of the gong on a wrought iron shaped hook. The ironwork has been cleaned and repainted black and the brass gong and finials have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

Carpenter & Tildesley Wrought Iron Rim Lock
Original, quality mid 19th century surface mounted wrought iron door lock. Will take a standard modern square bar for the handles. A replacement keep has been made to suit with the original key. This lock has the provision for a handle turn and a key lock. The file marks are the original when the lock was manufactured. This example has a super brass makers plaque detailing "Carpenter & Tildesley Manufacturers" around a Royal Coat of Arms. Fully overhauled, cleaned and lacquered and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century copper jelly mould of Benham & Froud quality but not stamped as such. This super example has two tiers of tab shaped rings mounted on a plain base rim. Large Brass Padlock & Key
Original, quality late 19th century large pink brass padlock with a brass hasp, a sliding dust cover and an old replacement key. The padlock is impressed to the front "11" and "Secure 4 Lever" and the key is impressed "Patent No 397147". All has been fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no exta cost.

Queen Victoria Brass Book Stand
Original, quality late 19th century cast brass folding and adjustable book reading stand. This superb example has a fretwork front plate depicting a bust of Queen Victoria, swirls of acanthus leaves and Tudor Rose motifs. This was probably manufactured to commemorate one of Queen Victoria's Jubilees in 1887 or 1897. This stand has a shaped ledge to the lower front to rest an open book and a ratchet adjustable system to tilt the open book, mounted on a ball foot to each corner. Has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Large Arts and Crafts Brass Door Handles, 4 pairs available
Original, quality larger than average cast brass door knobs in the original, bronzed finish in a serious Arts and Crafts seed pod and leaves form, circa 1900. These super examples are for turning standard mortice locks and latches and have five countersunk screw holes to each backplate and a square bar for turning. No maker's marks but we think these were manufacturer by Dryad of Leicester. Complete and in good and working order.

Brass and Iron Russian Padlock
Original, quality late 19th century brass and iron padlock with an old key altered to fit. This unusual example, made in Russia, has a double locking mechanism. The main body and hasp is in blacksmith made wrought iron and the front and back has thick brass cover plates with a decorative bevelled edge to the upper half plates and all is contained as one with five wrought iron rivets. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality pair of late 19th century heavy duty, all brass 9.75" long surface mounted door bolts with shaped ends to the backplates, good shaped finial grips and replacement keeps made to suit with steel backplates. This super pair of bolts, each have six countersunk screw holes for mounting and the keeps each have two. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, and are complete and in good and working order. Original, quality early 19th century wrought iron strongbox lock with the original key. This key is a complicated one, in super condition, showing very little wear if any, with a hollow barrel and a good "Georgian Bow" grip. Cleaned and waxed and complete and in good and working order.

3 Section Stacking Glazed Oak Bookcase
Original, quality 1920's / 30's three-tier stacking bookcase in the "Globe Wernick Style". This example in a honey-coloured oak will dismantle in five sections to ease moving, the top, three glazed tiers and the plinth. This all original item has oak veneered backboards and top boards and solid oak framed glazed doors and sides. A good clean example. Complete and in good and working order.

Advertising Stoneware Match Striker
Original, quality late 19th century green glazed stoneware match striker with a saucer base to take the spent matches and a top facility to hold the matches upright with a striking outside surface. Most of all, this example has an applied glazed slab impressed for "William Gibson Glass & China Merchant Ashton-Under-Lyne". The underside is impressed "Leadless Glaze" and for the manufacturer "Lovatt Langley Mill England". All is complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Wrought Iron Gates
Original, quality pair of circa 1900, blacksmith made wrought iron gates with an open design in the old green paint and surface rust and fashioned in square and flat wrought iron with curls and swags, a working latch and a retaining drop down bolt to the base. This pair of good heavy gates are to be mounted with staples to the top and sockets to the ground and are complete and in good and working order.

WT&S Brass Exterior Bell Pull
Original, quality late 19th century cast brass exterior bell pull. For use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. Many other bell fittings of differing types may also be available. Replacement rear spring and washer have been fitted. This most unusual example has an aesthetic movement impressed design to the vertical backplate, has two countersunk screw holes for mounting and a 'T' bar pull handle. The whole can be mounted vertically, horizontally or even with a vertical grip on a horizontal backplate or the opposite. The reverse is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son of Birmingham' with a registration number for the year 1878. All is complete and in good and working order.
