This example has three hanging loops to the top and is extendable to be hanging from three nails of variable spacing. Guy Motors Lorry Mascot CM59 Original, quality 1920's / 30's cast aluminium lorry mascot in the form of a Red Indian Chief with a feather headdress with the headband detailing "Feathers in Our Cap". The circular plinth for this mascot is detailed to the front for "Guy Motors" and the underside is embossed for the makers "J. L. Tomey ( cor ) Ltd" and has a threaded hole for the original thread. Brass on Oak Wall Mounted Letter Rack LR68 Original, quality late 19th century cast brass two leaf wall mounted letter rack on the original honey coloured oak shaped backboard with a bevelled edge. Pair of Brass Ship Containers N29 Original, quality pair of late 19th century top quality brass container "Andrew Brown of Glasgow" stamped to the handles "Andrew Brown 1825 - 1957 was managing director of the shipbuilding firm William Simons & Co of Renfrew, the oldest shipbuilder on the Clyde". These super brass containers have large side handles, heavy brackets to slot into wall mounts and screw off top caps mounted with four tubes as pourers or breathers ? I am guessing these are "Saline" testers for ship boilers or possibly safety torches with four wicks for each and fueled by say colza ( vegetable ) oil but I would be pleased for confirmation from anyone. I have found a great deal relating to this Andrew Brown but no reference to these containers. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all appears complete and most unusual.

Giant Brass Drawer Handle CK557 Original, quality late 19th century / 1920's huge cast brass chest of drawer handle with a brass grip and a huge keyhole. This most unusual example with its keyhole position and the embossed design of mistletoe decoration is almost certainly of continental origin and I would like to think it was a trade exhibition item. We have included a circular brass knocking stud in case anyone fancies it as a whacky front door knocker. The backplate has four countersunk screw holes for mounting but does not have any details or reference to the reverse for the original manufacturer. This extraordinary item appears never to have been used. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order.

Pair of Ships Brass Saline Measures M298 Original, quality late 19th century pair of tapered, vase shaped measures with side handles with wooden grips. These examples have a definite "Art Nouveau" style with the tapered sides, wide bases and heart shaped backplates to the handle mounts. These were used to measure the Saline contact in steamship boilers. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. These were originally used with a floating hydrometer but the jugs are complete and in super condition otherwise.

Pair of Carved Cameo Shell Electric Side Lamps SL432 A super pair of 1920's cameo Sea Shells both with similar but different finely carved panels and trimmed and converted to a pair of lamp shades with a pair of hand cast three legged brass supports. These are probably East African in origin but the fittings and three core flex etc are all replacements and all comply with legal and safey requirements. One carved panel depicts a pair of white horses drawing a chariot over the waves and the other three dancing maidens. Has been rewired with modern three-core silk-covered flex, new brass UK bulb holders, an in-line switch and a three-pin plug. We have fitted SBC bulb holders with 15-watt clear cooker bulbs. A very unusual pair of electric side lamps, fully overhauled with the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

Brass Galleried Ceramic Tray T181 Original, quality 1920's rectangular shaped ceramic tea tray with a pierced brass gallery with finger grip cutouts on each end. The white ceramic base is decorated in blue floral garlands and the reverse is impressed "10, 8, 22 & 44". Two very minor dents to the piercing of the gallery, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order with no other blemishes. A most unusual example the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

Large Brass Box Iron L282 Original, quality late 19th century "donkeys' ear" shaped, larger than average cast brass box iron with a lift-up gate to the rear and a super wooden 'D' shaped handle over the top. This unusual example, the largest we have seen is missing the slug for heating but otherwise all is complete and in wonderful condition. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The floor to the interior is embossed with the number "9" or "6".

Large Ceramic Loo Pull LP106 Original, quality late 19th century larger than average white ceramic loo pull handle. This pull was originally used on high-level toilet cisterns, but now is also ideal as a bathroom and loo light pull. A length of old brass chain has been fitted and all the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Ribbed Brass Door Handles DH069 Original, quality pair of late 19th century ribbed brass spherical shaped door knobs. With a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit both mortice and rim locks and latches. With replacement brass backplates made to suit, each backplate has two concealed countersunk screw holes for mounting. One pair is in super condition, the second pair are very surface worn and through continuous use the ribbing is only just visible. All is complete and in good and working order.

Miners Brass Pocket Watch Case WS6 Original, quality late 19th century brass protective case for a pocket watch worn whilst working, usually carried by Miners or Railway workers when at work. Morris Commerical Cast Iron Hub Cap HC22 Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's cast iron hub cap with an external thread for mounting and an eight sided circumference for spanner tightening. Oval Brass Framed Bevelled Wall Mirror M219 Original, quality 1920's oval shaped brass framed bevelled wall mirror. This clean mirror has cast brass decorative mounts to the frame at each side with a larger one to the top. Carburine Motor Spirit 2 Gallon Can PC15 Original, quality two gallon petrol can with the original brass screw on cap. This example is impressed to the back and front "Carburine Motor Spirit" and to the top "Not Returnable", "Glico Petroleum Spirit". The brass cap is impressed "Carburine" and although this can has two or three pin holes to the side. All is complete and in good order otherwise. These cans were often fitted to the running boards of the earlier motor vehicles and were generally in use from 1910 to say 1940's. We have cleaned the can and lacquered it, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. This is the first we have seen complete and in reasonable condition.

Wrought Iron & Brass Dinner Gong G174 Original, quality late 19th century blacksmith made wrought iron stand with curled decoration within the wrought iron and to the feet and top carrying handle and has four turned brass finials within the frame and a large circular brass gong suspended to the open centre. The gong has a hammered finish, a good loud sound and good resonance. The beater hangs to the rear of the gong on a wrought iron shaped hook. The ironwork has been cleaned and repainted black and the brass gong and finials have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

Palmerlite Electric Side Lamp SL429 Original, quality mid to late 19th century white glass stem and brass mounted, Palmer Candle lamp, converted to electricity. This superb fitting has a cast brass base in the form of acanthus leaves and flowers and very similar brass mounts to the top. The ribbed white glass stem is tapered towards the top and all is aesthetically very balanced in design, even though we have coverted it to electricity. The three-core silk-covered flex, three-pin plug, inline switch and brass bulb holders are all new fittings. Fully overhauled and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order. The shade is for display only.

Pair of 1937 Coronation Busts CC278 Original, pair of Coronation Busts of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Issued for the Coronation of May 12 1937. These may well have been overpainted a gold colour or are in the original faded looking original paint. These busts are hollow and moulded in pale pottery, both are complete and both with the odd chip to the paint finish, otherwise complete and in good and working order.

Huge Servants Intercom Bell IB336 Original, quality late 19th century servants' larger than normal intercom bell with brass mounts, steel springs and a central brass boss. Can be pulled from either left or right. For use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. Many other bell fittings of differing types may also be available. Often now referred to as 'Downton Abbey' bells. This super example has a replacement brass central boss fitted copied from an original although all otherwise is original. This bell has a good tone and resonance and is complete and in good and working order. The ironwork has been cleaned and repainted, and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.
