The knob has a flower head design in relief with a beaded outer edge and the backplate has leaf detail. 	Brass & Steel Fender F298 Original, quality mid to late 19th century fretted steel and brass fender with a brass trim to the top and base, three brass bun feet and the original sheet iron fitted floor. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, and the fretted steel curved front and the floor have been cleaned and repainted black. 	James Gardner 8 Drawer Collectors Cabinet CC8 Original, quality late 19th century stained pine, eight drawer, table top collectors cabinet with a "Wellington" locking panel to the right-hand front with a key and lower bolt. The reverse has the original paper label for the maker / supplier 'James Gardner' and 'by appointment to Her Majesty the Queen' ( Queen Victoria). Each drawer has a lift-out glass cover, and each is lined with white paper. This poker is cast with "9 or 6" for the size although this tally iron would have had a larger sized poker originally. These were used to iron collars and cuffs and even earlier to iron large ruffs worn around the neck. Very unusual to find these irons with original pokers, the poker was heated in the fire and inserted in the barrel when required for use. 	Brass Electric Side Lamp SL433 Original, quality 1920's brass electric side lamp with three shaped legs and a tapered central stem. Has been rewired with modern three-core silk-covered flex, a new brass UK bulb holder, an in-line switch and a three-pin plug. This style of lamp is often referred to as a "Pullman" lamp suggesting these were screwed to the table in the restaurant car of a railway carriage or the same on a passenger ship. These were not used as suggested but were catalogued for a guest room side lamp or wall light using the hole in the foot on a hook on the wall. This example has in fact got three holes, one per foot, for two extra holes seemed to have been drilled out later. All has been fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 	Richmonds Iron Foundry Cast Iron Paper Weight CC281 Original, quality cast iron circular paperweight issued as a "Memento of First Cast, New Foundry, Feb 21 1907" and embossed the same to the top. 	Robert Wells Four Bell Wall Chimes B333 Original, quality early 19th century wall mounted door chimes with four bells mounted in a "Road Hauliers Belfry" and incorporated in a a superb blacksmith made wrought iron frame with decorative wrought iron mounts. 	WT&S Wall Mounted Dinner Gong G175 Original, quality late 19th century wall mounted dinner gong manufactured by W. Tonks & Son of Birmingham. This serious gong in the original finish has a pale oak backboard simulating the castellated top of a building with a bronze / brass "Mythical Beast" mounted to the centre to support the circular brass gong with the original beater in a matching colour finish mounted below. We believe this design was heavily influenced by the stone water overflow gargoyle / spouts taking the roof water out and away from the outer walls of "The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. These gongs may even have been made by this Birmingham Maker to celebrate or commemorate an event relating to The Notre Dame Cathedral. All is original with just the cord and the head of the beater being replaced and all is complete and in good and working order with a super loud tone and resonance. Total drop 30".
