George IV decorated Truncheon PT201 Original, quality early 19th century decorated boxwood truncheon riddled with worm holes. This example has painted decoration detailing an elephant with a coronet howdah, surrounded by a laurel wreath, all beneath the monogram "G.R" with a large Royal Crown above. Although riddled with worm holes there is no recent evidence of worm activity and we have treated all intensly to make sure, all is complete and in good order otherwise George IV reign 1820 to 1830.

Set of 4 Lignum Vitae Bowling Woods SG206 Set of four original, quality late 19th century lignum vitae bowling woods with inlaid silver discs to each end. This superb set, free from splits or cracks, are impressed to the wood for the manufacturer "Thomas Taylor of Glasgow" and the silver discs are engraved one side of each, with the original owner's monogram "JM" or "IM" and to the other sides "1" to "4". Complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Lignum Vitae Bowling Woods SG204 Original, quality pair of late 19th century lignum vitae bowling woods with ivory discs to each side. One side is engraved "1" and "2" and the other with "P.C" for the original owner. Both are also impressed for the maker "R.O. Lawrie Glasgow". Presentation Bowling Wood SG150 Original, quality lignum vitae bowling wood with two silver inserts, one with "1" and the other engraved "Wilts County Singles Championship 1939, Presented By RCBC". The wood is also impressed for the maker "Jaques and Son, London", '5' and 'Bias No3' and with a decorated carved frieze to both ends. A super example with provenance. Lignum vitae is one of the few woods that will not float.

J Howarth Lever Chuck Brace T116 Original, quality late 19th century brass bound beech brace with a lever chuck action, an ebony head with an inset brass maker plate and brass mounts. One bracing plate is impressed for the maker "James Howarth Sheffield", the inset plate to the head, "James Howarth Broomspring Works" and the mouth of the chuck is stamped '98' or '89' perhaps for the year? All has been cleaned, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Fully overhauled, and complete and in good and working order. A seriously good example in super condition and the first brace by this maker we have had.

D Flather Button Chuck Brace T115 Original, quality late 19th century superb button chuck brace in beech, with a cocobolo head with a brass inset maker's plate and a button chuck in brass. The chuck is stamped for the manufacturer "D.Flather and Sons Warranted", and the head has a Royal Coat of Arms and "D.Flather and Sons Solly Works Sheffield". The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, and the original finish to the wood enhanced. Fully overhauled, complete and in good and working order. This is the first of this maker we have seen.

Elm Collar & Studs Box T39 Original, quality 1920's circular lidded collar box turned in elm with an inner tub with lid for the collar studs. This most unusual example has a decorative inlaid panel on the lid in cork and a carving of an Hibiscus flower and stem and the timber used was specially selected for its quality of grain. All is complete and in good order.

Treen Bowl by Scott Myles, Leuchars, Fife T38 Original, quality post-war turned mahogany fruit or salad bowl with the original paper label to the underside detailing "Handmade by Scott Myles Leuchars Fife" and "Made in Scotland". This super bowl is inset with twenty-five Scottish 5p pieces around the outer rim and one 10p coin to the centre. Some rubs and minor scratches otherwise complete and in good order.

These were used to depress the marble seal in the patent 'Codd' lemonade bottles thus allowing the gas to escape and the marble to fall back enabling the lemonade to be poured. Rosewood Glove or Wig Powderer T20 Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, superb three piece glove or wig? powderer turned in rosewood or a similar exotic hardwood. The base will unscrew to assist filling, as will the top finial, which has seven holes for dusting. The underside is impressed "VR" beneath a crown for the reign of Queen Victoria.
