Carltonware Guinness Cruet Set A139 Original, quality post-war three piece cruet set in cube form, advertising "Guinness for you" and a half pint glass of guinness alternating to the four sides. This set comprising a salt, a pepper and a mustard pot with lid, each marked to the underside for the maker "Carlton Ware and "Made in England, Trademark". Each has a plastic bung to the underside. The pepper and mustard pot are perfect but the salt has a hairline crack to one side or a scratch ? it's difficult to determine, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order.

Copper Ale Muller AM7 Original, quality late 19th century all copper "Donkey's Ear" shaped ale muller. These mullers were used to warm up ale in the hot coals of the fire. This good clean example has a rolled over seam and top rim, a pouring lip, a strap handle and good tinning to the interior. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A good heavy grade copper item, complete and in good order.

Copper Ale Muller AM6 Original, quality late 19th century coppersmith made ale muller of the "Donkey's Ear" design. These mullers were used to warm up ale in the hot coals of the fire. Brass on Oak Horseshoe Crib Board CB16 Original, quality late 19th century horseshoe shaped crib board in oak with a drawer to the front and brass mounts to the top. Within the brass "horseshoe" is an engraved brass decoration of three playing cards, the four of hearts, five of clubs and four of diamonds: The pull out drawer to the front for a pack of cards, has a handle in the form of a tiny stirrup. The brass pegs are replacements turned up to suit and all is complete and in good and working order. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A great cribbage board, the first we have seen in this form.

Novelty Brass Cigar Cutter CC5 Original, quality 1920's novelty cigar cutter in the form of a pint bottle of Bass and Co Pale Ale. Rotary Eclipse Bar Corkpuller CS189 Original, quality, cast brass 'Rotary Eclipse' bar corkpuller, circa 1900 / 1920's, undoubtedly the finest of the bar corkpullers ever manufactured. One wind of the handle, clockwise, will turn the screw into the cork and another turn, anti-clockwise, will draw the cork from the bottle with no effort. The circular base has four countersunk screw holes for mounting to the bar and the cranked side handle has a cylindrical ebony grip. The base also has the remains of the manufacturer's plaque detailing "The Patent Eclipse". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. We rarely find these today and this example, fully overhauled, is complete and in good and working order.

The Rapid Cocktail Shaker CS5 Original, quality 1930's cut and bevelled glass cocktail shaker with silver plated mounts and lid with a plunger which operator the paddle action. Courage Alton Pale Ale Jug J173 Original, quality pre-war off white coloured ceramic water jug with a coloured cockerel to each side and advertising "Courage Nut Brown Ale" to one side and "Courage Alton Pale Ale" to the other. The underside is detailed for the manufacturer "The Associated Potteries Co. Sole Proprietor Hancock, Caulfield & Waller Ltd, Mitcham, London & The Potteries". These water jugs were issued for use on the bar top in pubs and hotels and this example is perfect and very clean.

Large Salt Glazed Harvest Jug J155 Original, quality early 19th century large salt glazed harvest jug in two toned glazed colouring of dark chocolate to the upper and coffee colour below. This jug has a variety of embossed detail including a band on the shoulders of grapes on the vine with the leaves, a fox hunting scene with hounds and, unusually, with riders not on their horses but standing beside them, helping the hounds over the fence and gate. This fine example and great looker, has an old restoration to the back of the top rim and a faint hairline crack to the underside, otherwise a wonderful looking salt glazed harvest jug of good proportions.

Suede Bound Expenses Ledger L5 Original, quality, suede bound expenses ledger with applied red leather titles. "Expenses Book", to the front cover and to the spine. Originally this ledger had one hundred and ninety pages but the first twenty-three have been removed along with the frontice page, presumably to destroy the details of the original owners. Manufactured by Drake Driver & Leaver Ltd Rosebery Avenue London E.C. The outer covers have tooled decoration back and front but do show signs of wear and tear and of course this example is now incomplete.

Quart Ceramic Ale Measure M290 Original, quality late 19th century two pint ( Quart ) white ceramic ale measure, with a side handle and transfer printed to each side with a dark blue illustration entitled "Barley" with a sheaf of Barley. The handle is decorated with ears of barley and the underside "E. Coaney & Cos", "Ko Dale Stone", "Dale End Birmingham" and with the registration number for the year 1891. This most unusual ale measure is in a pale blue willow-type pattern with pagodas, trees and a bridge over water. The top rim lip and handle are also decorated to match. 8 Pint John Tams Ale Measure M154 Original, quality, very large ale measure jug in white ceramic with transfer decoration of hops and barley to both sides, a pouring lip and a side handle. The underside is transfer printed in black with the 'Crown Pottery' logo, "Patent Government Stamped Measure, Sole Patentee and Maker, John Tams Longton", "Hop and Barley" and with the registration number for the year 1905. I can not find the custom and excise etched mark, but all is complete otherwise and has the stepped rim around the handle. This jug does have an 1.5" hairline crack to one side of the lip, but no damage or chips otherwise. This eight pint jug is a most unusual example, the largest we have seen.

Huge Dixon Pewter Tyg M2 Original, quality late 19th century huge three handled pewter tankard referred to as a 'Tyg'. This super example, the largest we have seen in pewter, has a tapered body with reeded bands to the upper and lower sections, a shaped bottom trim and the underside is impressed with the logo and name for the manufacturer "James Dixon & Son Sheffield". Considering how soft pewter is this example has not a dent or scratch in sight and is complete and in good and working order and huge.

Stoneware Flat Sided Spirit Barrel SB13 Original, quality early to mid 19th century coffee coloured, fully glazed flat sided spirit barrel. This unusual example has a Royal Coat of Arms to the front in deep relief, and a wide band of embossed bunches of grapes on the vine to the upper and lower body sections. The front is impressed for the maker of the barrels "S. Melsom Potter Bristol". Minor chips to the base otherwise complete and in good order.

Stoneware Oval Spirit Barrel SB12 Original, quality mid to late 19th century two tone glazed oval shaped stoneware spirit barrel. This good example has two bands of grapes on vines embossed to the coffee coloured glazed areas, an embossed swag to the front for the name of the spirit and an embossed Royal Coat of Arms of a form. The barrel is also impressed '4' for the size and for the manufacturer "Port Dundas Glasgow Pottery". There is an aperture to the bottom front for a tap and of course an aperture to the top for filling. All is complete and in good order, with not a chip in sight.

Sheffield Plated Tankard T4 Original, quality late 18th or early 19th century Quart sized, baluster shaped Sheffield plated tankard. The silver plating can still be seen beneath and inside the, lid the inner rim of the body and the underside. This example has a wonderful shape and decoration to the side handle and has a silver shilling dated 1794 to the centre of the lid. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order.

Doulton Whisky Flask WD7 Original, quality late 19th century square whisky decanter in two colour glazed stoneware manufactured by Royal Doulton. This super example is damaged with a hairline knock to one corner and the handle to the top has been off and glued back on. The applied decoration to the body depicts a horse and hounds chasing a stag and the shoulders have leaves and flowers. The underside is impressed "Made For G. W. Scott & Sons Only" and "9544" and for the manufacturer "Doulton Lambeth England". The handle has an applied decoration "W" for whisky. Despite the damage this is all complete and a great looker with an old stopper included.

Pair of Oak Whisky Flasks WD5 Original, quality matching pair of late 19th century Scottish costrell shaped whisky flasks in unbelievable condition. Each one is bound in cane and fitted with the original shoulder straps and barrel harness, brass bung cover and brass padlock with key. The brass covers are stamped "H.G.M" for the original owner and the barrels are impressed to one end "1 Quart" and "4 Quarts". All is complete and in good and working order and all are as they came, with one exception, replacement keys were altered to suit, note also the brass padlocks which came with the flasks are a true pair. These flasks were carried by deerstalkers.
