	Rosewood Mounted Police Truncheon PT230 Original, quality 1920's mounted Police truncheon turned in rosewood with the original wrist strap. 	Boxwood Truncheon PT229 Original, quality late 19th century small truncheon turned in boxwood with a good tapered body towards the ribbed handgrip with a stop to the end. Boxwood is a super hard and pale in colour wood perfect for turning but sometimes it splits with age, this example has not and is complete and in superb condition. 12" x 1.5" x 1.5". 	Hickory Truncheon PT228 Original, quality pre-war, Police standard issue style truncheon turned in hickory with the original good quality strap. This could well be an American truncheon for Hickory was favoured more by the American security forces. This example appears to have been weighted for there is a wooden plug to the end opposite to the strap. All is complete and in good order. 15.5" x 1.5" x 1.5". 	Hiatt Mahogany Truncheon PT227 Original, quality 1920's standard Police Issue style truncheon with the original leather wrist strap. Mahogany is an unusual wood for truncheon for it is quite lightweight, the colour and grain say mahogany to me though. The strap is stamped Hiatt for the maker, a very well-known manufacturer of police and other security equipment. 	Lignum Vitae Truncheon PT226 Original, quality 1920's standard Police Issue style truncheon turned in Lignum Vitae with the original leather wrist strap. This super example has an unusual colour variance to the grain and we feel it could be lignum vitae or even possibly an ebony with a very unusual graining, nevertheless, a striking example, complete and in good order. 15" x 1.25" x 1.25". 	William IV Truncheon PT221 Original, quality early 19th century Truncheon with the original painted decoration and detail for the Reign of King William the 4th 1830 to 1837. The paintwork is rather rubbed but is clearly detailed for "WR IV". A grain split and damage to the paintwork, otherwise complete and in good order. 15" x 1.5". 	Indian Police Constables Staff PT219 Original, quality late 19th century Indian Police Constables staff. This good example made from a tapered bamboo shaft has a weighted cast brass head with decoration around and a steel cap to the top. The shaft has brass mounts to each joint in the cane and a smaller cast brass decorated mount to the base. All has been cleaned, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order. 61.5" long. 1.25"to the base. 2.25" at the top. 	Short Mahogany Police Truncheon PT205 Original, quality mid 19th century shorter than the norm. mahogany truncheon with a ribbed grip and a crown shaped finial. A very faint painted Queen Victoria crown can be seen with a circular logo beneath, for the Reign of Queen Victoria. This unusual example has been chewed by mice or rats at both ends but otherwise all is complete and in good order. 10.75" x 1.25" x 1.25". Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £285.00


	Ebony Baluster Truncheon PT202 Original, quality mid to late 19th century baluster shaped truncheon turned in ebony. This most unusual example turned from one piece of ebony is in mint condition with not a chip in sight, no matter how small and it appears never to have been decorated or painted. 13" long x 1.75" widest. 	George IV decorated Truncheon PT201 Original, quality early 19th century decorated boxwood truncheon riddled with worm holes. This example has painted decoration detailing an elephant with a coronet howdah, surrounded by a laurel wreath, all beneath the monogram "G.R" with a large Royal Crown above. Although riddled with worm holes there is no recent evidence of worm activity and we have treated all intensly to make sure. All is complete and in good order otherwise. 16" x 1.75". 	Rosewood Police Truncheon PT150 Original, quality 1920's standard UK Police Issue truncheon turned in what appears to be rosewood with a super grain. 	Boxwood Police Truncheon PT132 Original, quality 1920's standard police issue shaped truncheon but unusually turned in boxwood, a heavy light coloured wood. 	Northampton County Asylum Button PT34 Original, quality, 1930's, nickel, uniform button embossed 'Northampton County Asylum' around a Tudor Rose and impressed to the brass plate on the reverse for the manufacturer 'Firmin & Sons Ltd, London' around the eye. An unusual button, complete and in good order. 1" diameter. 0.25" front to back. Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £45.00


	Travelling Shaving Mug SB48 Original, quality late 19th century Sheffield plated, campaign type, shaving Etna with a hinged lid to the base to conceal the spirit container and a hinged top lid to reveal the foldout side handle. This item has been later engraved to the top of the lid as a presentation, detailing "Military Police Sports, Wiesbaden 1926". Not sure how it is heated although a container for the meths spirit is included in the base. What is here, is all in good order and the silver plating is in exceptional condition apart from the rubbing around the engraved detail, obviously from cleaning it often. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and generally in very good order but possibly not complete. 5.75" tall x 3.5" diam. 	The City Police or Fire Whistle with Lanyard W60 Original, quality nickel plated whistle with the original green silk covered Lanyard. This early whistle, circa 1900 / 1910, is detailed "The City Police or Fire Whistle" and "Patent" and is polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.
