Original, quality late 19th century heavy cast brass egg shaped scoop or ladle with a very shapely connection of the stem and scoop, a turned mahogany handle and a brass end piece. We are not sure what this was used for and would love to know, if you do know, please be so generous and let us know. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Copper and Brass Display Stands DP34
Original, quality pair of circa 1900, heavy circular brass and copper display stands. This pair of circular tubs with a copper cylindrical body and heavy brass bases and top rims. The copper has dovetailed joints and is of the highest quality. No makers' or owners' mark can be seen and all now has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Have you any ideas as to its purpose? In good order.

Original, quality 1920's nickel scoop of a super slender shape and balance, appears to be just a great version of a flour scoop but I feel it had a more interesting purpose, what do you think ? Polished, perfect and complete.

Original, quality late 19th century copper boiling pan of the bellied form with a turned wooden side handle and a lid with a central hole and a wooden handle above. This super-quality pan has the remains of a brass maker's label for "Maw Son & Thompson" on the top of the lid. But we have been unable to find any reference as to what it was used for and what is missing if anything. In good order.

Copeland Bowl on Stand P86
Original, quality late 19th century three piece set of matching blue on white decorated bowl with lid on a small tray with carrying grip as in a chamberstick. The tray has a small bowl fixed and a curved slot section; the saucer shaped base and a further dished extension to the front. Each piece has the matching blue floral pattern, gilded edges and the Copeland logo and mark. All is perfect and we assume complete, we would be pleased to know what this item is, if you know.

Original, quality circular brass weight, feels to be lead filled ? The upper surface is embossed "4lbs, AVDP, 20lbs, Sq. In". "Patented March 11 84" (is it for 1884 or 1984 ?) "Crosby S.G. & V. Co Boston U.S.A". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and in good order.

Cast Iron Weight W69
Original, quality, late 19th century, rectangular cast iron block with an offset hole and embossed to one surface 'Teaco Cirencester'. This looks to be a counter balance weight or ? but what for ?. Has been cleaned and lacquered and is in good order.

5" x 2.75" x 1".

Thanks to Mr Peters, we now know what this weight is, it's from the inside of a horse-drawn seed drill.
