Original, quality 1930's shop card advert with a coloured illustration of "HRH The Prince of Wales" later to become the abdicated King Edward VII. This example has "by appointment" above with the Prince of Wales Feathers and beneath for "Huntley & Palmers Biscuits, Reading & London England". This example has been framed and glazed recently. The two eyes to the top originally held a cord for wall hanging and all is complete otherwise but with some scuffs and rubbing. The first we have seen of this advert.

Bretby Huntley & Palmers Plate A76
Original, quality late 19th century decorative ceramic plate mounted with four facsimile Huntley & Palmers biscuits. Three of these very lifelike biscuits are impressed for Huntley & Palmers just as the real ones were and the green glazed plate is finished as if a paper doiley was on the plate. The underside is impressed for the makers "Bretby England" and '1146' and with the registration number for the year 1897. There is an old repair to the edge as shown in two of the pictures here, a chip has been glued back in rather clumsily and one chip to one long biscuit, otherwise all is complete and in good order with a super gloss finish back and front.

Original, quality white ceramic biscuit box in the form of a chest of drawers manufactured expressly for Huntley & Palmer Biscuits of London & Reading in 1905. This example is one of a series of twelve china 'casket' shapes decorated to simulate a chest of drawers. Each lid was decorated with a different nursery rhyme by the artist / illustrator Walter Savage Cooper 1863 / 1943. This example has a picture on the top of the lid entitled "Little Tom Tucker, sang for his supper", the underside of the lid has a panel detailing "Huntley & Palmer Biscuit Reading & London" and "Copyright Nursery Rhymes" and the underside of the base has the Royal Doulton Mark and the registration number for the years 1905 / 1906. In mint condition with no chips or blemishes and complete and in good and working order. Another identical biscuit box may well be available ref code BB31.

Original, quality biscuit tin manufactured for Huntley & Palmers entitled "Pencil Box" and issued in 1912. This tin resembles a case to carry a cricket kit and is in fairly good condition overall with just a few scratches, but importantly it is complete with the top handle and front catch. Cleaned and waxed and complete and in good order.

Original, quality, miniature Huntley & Palmers cube shaped biscuit tin in mint condition, circa 1900 / 1920's. This example originally contained tiny biscuits in the form of letters spelling out "Huntley & Palmers". Several models of this shape and size were issued and this one is decorated with blue on white with each panel detailing "Superior Reading Biscuits, Huntley & Palmers" with a different biscuit of their range "Rich Mixed", "Macaroons", "Dessert", "Empire Assorted" and "Chocolate Mixed". In near mint condition. Complete and in good order.

Original, quality, Huntley & Palmers biscuit tin issued in 1927, made to resemble a sandlewood casket. This tin is embossed with frieze designs of Indian elephants, the tin has a hinged lid with a push button and a catch to the front. The underside is etched "Huntley & Palmers Reading and London". Generally in good order and complete with some rubbing but no dents or damage.

A very clean example of an uncommon tin with just a few minor rubs and scuffs. Complete and in good and order.

This tin was manufactured in 1903 by Huntley Bourne & Stevens for Huntley & Palmers and is in super condition retaining its original handle and catch, with just a few minor rubs and scratches around the catch area. Complete and in good order. This tin was purchased at one of ITV's "Dickinson's Real Deal" filming days at Harrogate.

This is in the form of the Huntley & Palmers 'Albert' biscuit and was originally covered in biscuit coloured paint. Impressed to the front, as in the biscuit 'Huntley & Palmers Albert' and to the reverse "Made in Vienna". Complete and in good and working order.
