Original, quality circa 1900, slender walking stick fashioned from palmwood with the root clump grip, scratch carved to an old shape and the stem tapers down to the original brass ferrule. Complete and in good order and a firm cane.

36" long.

Top end 1" x 1.5".

Stem tapering down to 0.5" diam.

Original, quality 1920's carved bamboo walking cane with original root clump and the original brass ferrule with a steel cap. The steel cap will unscrew to reveal a hollow cane and the remains of an old fishing rod. The carving is mainly scratch carved with some possible signatures to the lower section. Minor splits, all otherwise complete and in good order ideal for use.

35" long.

Root clump end 1.5" x 1.75".

Main stem 1" diam.
