Original, quality circa 1900, vaseline glass oil lamp shade with a strong coloured band around the centre with paler and clearer above and below. Brass Cauldron Inkstand
Original, quality mid 19th century cast brass inkstand in the realistic form of a three-legged cauldron. This example has a swing-over handle, a hinged lid, a replacement brass liner and is mounted on a circular ebonised wooden plinth. This superb example has a registration lozenge mark for the year 1859. Pair of Trench Art Mounts
Pair of original, quality 'trench art' displays fashioned from brass bullet cases, lead shot and shrapnel fragments all mounted on slabs of similar marble each with a brass ribbon swag shaped plaque. One is detailing "L'Yzer 1914" and the other "Ypres 1918". We have replaced the felt to the undersides and polished and lacquered the items otherwise all is original and in good order. These are the first we have seen of this type of trench art objects and exciting to find.

Frys Chocolate Mirror
Original, quality circa 1900 / 1910 Frys Chocolate Advertising Mirror in the original light oak frame. The frame is stamped to the front "J.S Fry & Sons Ltd" and the glass is decorated with a circular Royal Coat of Arms and "By Appointment", "Frys Chocolate", "Makers to T.M. The King & Queen and H.M Queen Alexandra" and " 300 gold medalist". All original with one blemish to the slivering of the mirror, top left corner, otherwise complete and in good and working order.

Original quality 1920's or earlier leather handholds for standing passengers. The heavy cast pink brass fitting for wall mounting has four large countersunk screw holes and the wheel beneath was for the stop indicator wire. The leather to one is a little damaged, but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order.

Silver Witches Ball
Original, quality late 19th century medium sized spherical shaped silver coloured, glass witches ball. These were originally used to mirror the light around a room in the days when candle, oil or firelight was the only source of light other than naturally through the windows. These objects later acquired their superstitious properties of scaring away evil spirits and witches if you are superstitious. Originally these were free blown and silvered to the inside with an early mercury silvering and a brass disc and ring were fitted for these to be suspended with. These were made in a huge range of sizes and colours but are not easy to find these old original ones today. All is complete and in good and working order.

Pair of original, quality 1920's, very decorative circular cast brass interior electric bell pushes with central replacement push buttons turned in boxwood. For use with a 12 volt, low voltage electric supply system. The brass backplates have inner and outer beaded decoration and a circle of flower heads similar to anemone. All has been fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century Vaseline glass gas shade with the original brass gas shade holder drilled out to fit a standard modern electric bulb holder. This shade has unusual shape with a clear Vaseline body flared out to a wavy edge with a thicker Vaseline colour to 1.5" of the rim. The brass shade holder is detailed for the manufacturer "Veritas Silver & British Made" and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Original, quality 1930's twenty-three pieces Art Deco Tea Set comprising six tea plates, one sandwich plate, six cups and saucers, a teapot, coffee or hot water jug, sugar bowl and milk jug. The underside is detailed for the maker "Royal Doulton", "Made in England" and "De Luxe" for the model and the logo of a lion on a crown. All is complete and perfect except for a tiny chip on one teacup on the foot ( see sep pic ). This superb set, the first we have had has a distinct green and white design.

10ft Galvanised Water Trough
Original, quality late 19th century 10 foot long galvanised Cattle Trough. This super example is in excellent condition throughout and will hold water to the top, the sides are rivetted and the top has a rolled tubular mount. One end is higher and has a removable lid to the ball cock section. Some minor dents to the lower middle of one side and all is complete and in good and working order.

Hotel Counter Posting Box
Original, quality circa 1910 / 1920's Hotel Counter Posting Box in honey coloured oak with an arched shape, a hinged and locking door to the front and a letter slot to the top with an engraved brass front detailing "Letters" in upper case text. All standing on a rectangular oak plinth. The door has a 'Bramah' lock and key and a lift-out glazed panel for inserting the postal collection times. The brass has been lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the lock fully overhauled and all is complete and in good and working order. An exciting find.

Original, quality full set of late 19th century circular, decorated cast iron shop counter stacking weights. Each cast iron weight is embossed to the centre "AK & Sons", with the appropriate weight and to the front edge with the weight only. The top two weights are in brass and are impressed "AK & Sons", "1oz" & "2oz". 1945 Military Oil Hand Lamp
Original, quality Second World War Issue, oil hand lamp very similar if not identical to the 'Railway Guards' hand signal lantern. This version issued to the war dept is dated 1945, and for the maker "C Eastgate & Son Birmingham", it has the original green paintwork, the original oil font, burner and wick and the two colour signal cylinder, red and blue for Stop & Go. Although the paint is chipped and flaking in place, all is complete and in good and working order otherwise, with the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Unusual to find one so complete and in presentable order.

4 Commemorative Brass Martingale
Original, quality, superb leather, heavy horse martingale with four commemorative brass faceplates, circa 1900. The two lower brasses were issued after the death of Queen Victoria and are engraved 'Victoria the Good 1819 - 1901' and the two upper brasses were to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902 and are engraved 'God Save the King Edward VII'. The leatherwork is in good order throughout and is fitted with two original brass buckles. A stunning set of brasses difficult to better. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good order.

Birmingham Safe Co Fireproof
Original, quality late 19th century small fireproof safe in the original paintwork inside and out. This example has a drawer to the floor inside and the reverse of the door has the original transfer detailing for the manufacturer "Birmingham Safe Co Burnside" and "Bent Steel, Fire & Burglar Resisting Safe Manufacturer Birmingham". The paintwork is plum red to the exterior and cream to the interior. The door and lock mechanisms have been fully overhauled with two keys for the door and one for the inner drawers. All the brass fittings are the original and have polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

The first we have seen of this model.

1960's Picquot Ware Aluminium Kettle
Original, quality 1950's / 60's very stylish cast aluminium kettle with the original polished wood handles to the body and the lid, with a short pouring spout. The underside is impressed "Picquot Ware", "K3", "Regd Design" and "Made in England". These super looking kettles were one of a range of items produced for household use and the kettle is the hardest item to find. We often have the teapot set on a tray available. Original, quality leather cased 30 metre tape measure with brass fittings, a leather side strap and a very clean inner tape. The case is embossed for the manufacturer "Rabone Chesterman Ltd" the winding handle is stamped "30 m" and the reverse of the leather case is impressed "1979" for the year of manufacturer and with the war dept "Broad Arrow". Original, quality late 19th century cast brass bell shaped bankers' counter weight impressed "Sov'gn 300" to the top of the open ring grip. 3 Branch Cricklite Candelabra
Original, quality, superb three branch candelabra, circa 1900, with an octagonal shaped cut glass column, a square and stepped base and mounted to the top with a cast brass corinthian capital. The three curved brass branches each with rings to the ends, support pressed glass saucers, with pressed glass domes or the alternative fine glass shades / chimneys. These lights are used with small nightlight candles. The brass ring holders are stamped "Clarke's Trade Mark Cricklite" to the inside. The corinthian capital is stamped "Clarke's Cricklite". The pressed glass saucers are embossed to the insides "Clarke's Patent Trade Mark Cricklite " with a dancing fairy to the centre and the alternative fine chimneys are mounted with pressed brass collars to the bases in the original matt gilt finish. Either but not both sets of chimneys or dome covers are included with the candelabra. A few very, very, minor chips to the column base, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Large Exterior Ring Door Handles
Original, quality late 19th century blacksmith made wrought iron exterior ring door handles on the original decorative cast iron backplates. With a square bar included to fit standard mortice locks and latches. Each backplate has four screw holes for mounting and all has been cleaned and repainted black. Complete and in good and working order and ideal for the larger doors.

Pair of Large Brass Drop Ring Handles
Original, quality pair of mid to late 19th century large cast brass drop door handles with decorated shaped backplates to fit a mortice lock with a standard square hole for the bar. Each backplate has a keyhole with a swinging cover which lines up with the other. The keyholes can be blind or they will need to match those on the mortice lock chosen or these door handles can each be used behind two separate rim locks. The reverse of one of these fittings is detailed "S&H Pitts Patent". This pair of exceptional door fittings are of superb quality in very good condition and are the first we have seen. The steel square bar may need to be shortened to suit the door being fitted, otherwise they are ready to put into use. All is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century heavy cast brass surface mounted door bolt of huge proportions with a steel sliding bar, a decorative finial grip, a second thick steel backplate for strength and a replacement keep made to suit. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 17th or early century bell originally mounted within a road hauliers set of Team Bells. This super example in the original unpolished green colour, is complete with the iron clapper and top eye for suspension but most of all the inside is detailed "WR Cor" with the dabchick motive above. This attributes the bell to be made by William & Robert 1. Cor of Aldbourne in Wiltshire. A great colour, a great sound and complete and in good and working order.

Warners London Jubilee Handbell
Original, quality late 19th century medium sized brass handbell with the original leather disc and strap handle but missing the internal clapper assembly. This otherwise good example appears to have an old repaired short crack but still rings well. The leather grip is impressed "G" and the leather disc is impressed for the bell foundry "Warners of Cripplegate London". But probably the most important feature of all is the engraving in script "Queens Jubilee Year 1887" to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee of 50 years on the Throne.

12 Bore Cartridge Re-Loading Tool
Original, quality late 19th century '12 bore' central fire shotgun cartridge re-loading tool. This all brass item is used to remove and refit the central firing cap. The top is impressed "Alpha 12", has an ebony grip and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order.

Richardson Darlington Brass 5 Piece Greenhouse Latch Set
Original, quality late 19th century cast brass five-piece greenhouse door latch set with the greenhouse manufacturer's detail "Richardson & Co Darlington". All is complete and in super condition, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Not easy to find these today. Complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Steel and Brass Dairy Cans
Pair of original, quality late 19th century "Milk Churn" shaped steel dairy cans of an unusual form both with the original brass fittings, and rear brass swing over loop handles. The dome-topped lids are impressed "Mount Clare", the brass hinged plates are stamped "The Standard Milk Can Trademark" and the front is stamped for the makers "Dairy Outfit Company King Cross London". All have been cleaned and lacquered and are complete and in good order. The first we have seen of this shape.
