Original, quality superb late 19th century large Brown Trout, caught at Sunbury on Thames in 1864 and mounted in a bow fronted glazed case by Cooper. This great example, larger than average for a Thames Trout, has all the good groundwork as expected for a Cooper mount, with a paper label to the top inner left corner detailing "Preserved by J. Cooper, 28 Radnor Street, St Luke London EC". The front of the bowed glass has gilt lines around and "Caught by Mr Lamport at Sunbury June 1864 Weight 6 ¼lbs". The case has been cleaned and repainted black to the reverse and has two hanging loops to the top. Complete and in good order.

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's circular drinks tray with a beaten finish to the base, an upright gallery all around with two interesting riveted joints and a rolled over top rim. The centre of the top has a sunflower circular design and the maker's name "Newlyn" is impressed to the floor near the gallery. This is the first of this model we have seen. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality circa 1900, Arts & Crafts wall mirror with a sheet copper clad frame with tapered side panels and an embossed decoration to the upper section of the frame with a blue "Ruskin" ceramic cabochon. The original paper backing to the reverse has been retained and the front and sides of the surround has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A stunning mirror of delightful proportions. Complete and in good order.

Original, quality 18th century blacksmith made free-standing animal feeding manger with a later wrought iron stand made to suit. Super blacksmith forging to the manger basket and frame added to a later iron stand. All has been cleaned and repainted in a green hammerite paint, which could be changed if it's wrong for one. Original, quality late 19th century brass hat and coat rack with fold away hooks each with a white ceramic finial. This example with a tubular brass frame was made to fold flat for travelling in your suitcase and to be wall hanging for the hotel room or temporary accommodation. The top rail has two movable loops for the wall mounts, the lower one has four small brass hooks and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality, late 19th century, superb very thin and curved oval shaped hot water filled warmer, in tin, with a brass label, screw off cap and a folding flat wire loop handle. This incredible warmer has just one minor dent, otherwise all is in mint condition. The pressed brass oval maker's plate is detailed "Michael Wright, Hydropathic Appliance and Bath Manf Co, Matlock Bank" All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century table dinner gong with a pair of polished cow horns forming an arch, with a circular brass gong suspended between. All is mounted on a honey-coloured oak plinth, with the replacement hammer on stands to the front. The mounts are in nickel, with a plaque above the hammer for engraving if desired. The brass and nickel has all been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order. A super looking gong with a great tone and resonance.

Each fingerplate has four countersunk screw holes for mounting and all are perfect and the most exciting fingerplates we have had to date.

Original, quality late 19th century, very small, cast brass goffering iron with an 'S' shaped wrought iron stem a circular cast iron base and the original cast iron poker with a turned wooden grip. The poker tip is impressed '1' for the size and the wooden grip shows signs of woodworm. These were used to iron collars and cuffs and even earlier to iron large ruffs worn around the neck. Very unusual to find these irons with original pokers, the poker was heated in the fire and inserted in the barrel when required for use. All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good order.

Original, quality late 19th century cast iron and brass crimping machine with the original heating bars, lifting rod and paintwork. This unusual example has ribbed brass rollers operated by the cranked turning handle. Much of the original gilt on japanned black paintwork has remained and the plinth is embossed to the top "Eagle" and "Patent Nov 2. 1875" and to the underside - American Machine Co. Philadelphia P.A. All is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality 1920's mounted European Red Squirrel in a glazed case with a hanging loop to the top. This clean example has good groundwork, with the squirrel holding a hazelnut. Original quality early to mid 19th century rosewood tipstaff. This fine example, in the form of a short truncheon, has a shaped and ribbed handgrip and a thicker body mounted with a cast brass head and ferrule. Tipstaffs were used when delivering an order of the court. Complete and in good order.

Original, quality 1920's motor car radiator temperature gauge ( calorimeter ) with a visible needle indicator. This chromed example is still fitted to a chromed radiator screw on cap and appears complete, so it should work, although we have not tested it. One circular glass panel is detailed "Cool", "Normal" and "Boil" and the other "Calormeter, Wilmot Breedon Ltd" for the maker and with a patent number and the registration number for the year 1925. The two glass panels are bevelled and have no chips or blemishes but the chromed finish overall does have some pitting.

Another plaque for the same Shipbuilders dated 1916 and smaller, may well be available ref code: NP430.

Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, extra large, copper bedwarmer of an ovoid form, to be filled with hot water and with a cast brass screw on filler cap and two cast brass loop handles with turned fruitwood grips. The original brass plug is still in place beneath the screw on cap and although there are a few very minor dents, all is in superb condition. This would be filled with hot water and is complete and in good and working order and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

This model issued in 1924 was designed as a direct result of the November 1922 Carter / Carnarvon discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of Kings in Egypt. These tins are in super condition with just some rubbing to the lift-out lids, otherwise in near mint condition to the original finish and complete and in good order.

Original, quality hallmarked silver trophy cup of a good size and condition engraved to the front "Championship, Craven Hunt", "Bouncer 1931". This very clean example has handles to the sides, a shaped stem and the original black bakelite plinth. The silver content weighs in at 479 grams. The associated invitation to attend the "Young Hound Judging" from "The Earl & Countess of Essex" is included with this trophy which was awarded on the day July 21st 1931 and RSVP were to Col. Walmesley DSO MC Inglewood Lodge, Kintbury, Nr Hungerford. Both the trophy and the invitation are in excellent order.

Original, quality black transfer on coffee brown ceramic plate, manufactured during and after the 1st World War (1914 to 1918) for relatives to purchase and fix a photograph of their loved ones lost in the war. Good detail to the front with 'England Expects That Every Man Will Do His Duty And ____ Did His', and to the reverse 'England' and impressed '9' over '16'. Complete and in good order.

Original, quality Doulton vase circa 1920's. This example has an embossed design of Autumn leaves in various shades of brown and with a high gloss finish. The underside is impressed "Doulton Lambeth England" and with a variety of Artist's marks. The vase was purchased on the Dickinson's Real Deal T.V. programme filmed at Market Bosworth Near Nuneaton. All is perfect and in super condition.

Original, quality very large 1920's brass letter flap with "Letters" embossed to the flap and fitted with a good sized door pull bar with decorated finials ends. Replacement nuts, bolts and spring have been fitted. This most unusual example is impressed to the reverse with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son of Birmingham'. Complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century larger than average brass pipe rack fashioned as a miniature 'five bar gate', with a plinth of brass mounted on a base of laburnum wood. This example has provision for seven pipes of a narrow form, possibly for shorter clay churchwarden pipes ?. The back is also fitted with wall hanging plates. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's patented cast iron Bicycle Stand in the old silver paintwork. This example has a hinged middle joint to allow adjustment for the cycle wheel size and each side is embossed "The Octopus Cycle Stand" and "Patent No 7825". This carriage moves on four cast iron wheels and the cycle wheel rests on three wooden mounts turned in boxwood as replacements for the original wooden ones which were damaged and split. These cycle stands were probably made for cycle shop displays but ideal for cycles where ever. Complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century, wall mounted cast iron harness room Side Saddle Rack, larger than the standard staddle rack of this style. This example has walnut mounts with the ironwork cleaned and repainted black and was manufactured by "Musgraves of Belfast" and is marked and such to the reverse. The backplate has five countersunk screw holes for mounting and all is complete and in good and working order.

Backplate 13" wide x 9.75" tall.

Original, quality late 19th century ceramic toothpaste pot and lid. This example has a coloured lid with the head of a young Queen Victoria and details "Cherry Toothpaste Patronized by the Queen" and "Prepared by John Gosnell Co Ltd". Not only is this one good to find a perfect one with a base it also has the original "directions for use" paper label intact inside the lid (see picture). Complete and in good order.

Original, quality mid to late 19th century pierced brass footman. This clean example has a pierced and decorated brass top section with tubular brass side handles and is mounted on a blacksmith frame with wrought iron legs to the rear and cabriole shaped legs to the front in brass. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order.

Original, quality late 19th century two tone glazed stoneware ale jug with a hallmarked silver rim to the top edge, a pouring spout and a strap handle to the rear. The body has applied decoration of gents drinking, smoking at tables, horses, riders and hounds chasing a stag. The underside is impressed for the maker "Doulton Lambeth England" and "154". Complete and in good order.
