Original, quality 1950s plain and simple yet sturdy and suitable hat and coat stand in teak. This very clean example has square section corner supports tapering in towards the top with the original period tin drip pan to the base beneath, the crossbar to separate the umbrellas and with four bronze finish hat and coat hooks above.The underside of the base is stamped for the manufacturer "UKAEA" and all is complete and in good and working order.

Miniature Kitchen Range
Original, quality circa 1900, superb miniature Kitchen Range, probably manufactured in Germany for the UK Market. This exciting all original example made in tin has retained all its original fittings and accessories and much of the original black finish. The brass rail and feet were probably nickel plated but now are showing all brass, the hinged doors open to access the ovens which were probably if at all heated by some small methylated burners. The copper pots, pans and kettle are in good order and all original with brass fittings as are the wooden twizzle stick and handle on the chocolate pot and the wooden grips on the folding handle of the kettle. The tap works on the long fish kettle and the rear flue pipe will pull out to ease storage.

Original, quality late 19th century advertising mirror with bevelled edges in the original mahogany frame. This example for an unusual brand of Whiskey details "Old Priory Scotch Whisky" in gilt letters to the back of the mirror glass. Although all original and complete the mirror surface has many blemishes. The original mahogany backing board has been retained with two mirror plates affixed to the side for wall mounting.

Original, quality 1920's Hotel Counter / Bar top mounted, cigar cutter with a brass press down cutter mounted on the cast iron body with an embossed design of swags and flowers. The body has two countersunk screw holes for mounting and the brass cutter cover is impressed made in England. All has been cleaned or polished and lacquered, fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order. This is the first we have seen of this model.

Original, quality mid to late 19th century brass faced night latch lock without the key. This most unusual find has the standard upside down 'T' shape slot for the latch key and five countersunk screw holes for mounting. All is complete and in good order, but again the key is not present. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good order.

Original, quality 18th or early 19th century blacksmith made wrought iron eel spear with five tines and all showing good blacksmith forging and riveting. These were originally fitted to very long wooden shafts, even up to twenty odd feet occasionally and were used from the bridges over the river and stabbed or probed into the sand beneath the water to catch eels. Cleaned and lacquered and complete and in good order.

Original, quality circa 1900, brass keyhole with a swinging heart shaped cover. This super art nouveau example was designed by "Charles F.A. Voysey", and manufactured by Elsley's, impressed to the reverse. The backplate has two countersunk screw holes for mounting and a good sized keyhole and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality pair of late 19th century wooden cartwheels from a horsedrawn hay waggon or farm cart. This super heavy pair of wheels have twelve spokes, large hubs with wrought iron bands and blacksmith made wrought iron tyres. Complete and well used with each wheel still in one piece. Lost of old worm damage as you would expect for this age but still very solid.

Original, quality late 19th century continental flat-sided oval-shaped dome in very 'fine' glass and of a good large size. Originally probably covered a good quality clock. This original plinth is veneered in ebonised mahogany with boxwood inlaid stringing, has two bun feet to the front and block feet to the rear. The underside has an old paper label detailing "15" and "Versailles" the six old worm holes have been well treated and all complete and in good order.

Dome 22" tall x 18" x 7.5".

Plinth 19.75" x 9.5" x 3.25" including feet.

Original, quality mid 19th century Toleware Coal box with shovel. This super example has most of the original gilt decoration on the black japanned finish and even more special is the curved glass panel to the hinged lid at the front. The painting has been applied to the reverse of the piece of glass and portrays a very detailed river scene with a Victorian Gent fishing from the bank. The original cast iron handle to the top has been cleaned and lacquered and the replacement shovel to the back insert is of similar age to the box and the correct style of shovel. All is in super condition, complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century Haberdashery Shop Counter Cabinet in mahogany with two drawers and a top hinged lid to the third compartment. This cabinet was issued to the retailer stocked with G.L Turneys Best Needles. The top white 'Vitrolite' glass label to the upper section has been replaced with a plain panel, the remains of the original acid etched label is included (see picture) and the two drawers have retained the original etched panels and brass recessed pull handle. All has been cleaned and refinished and is complete and in good and working order, otherwise.

Original, quality 1920's, oval bevelled wall mirror within the original thick mahogany frame. The mirror is acid etched in upper cased text "Tennent's Pale Ale on Draught" to the centre and engraved in small type to the lower edges of the mirror "The property of C.R. Tennents Ltd Glasgow" and "G. Hunters Glasgow" for the maker. A very clean mirror and frame with just one scratch to the reverse of the mirror glass at the lower edge and a blemish to the outer edge of the frame, at the base where a secondary bracket had been fitted. A good example, the first we have seen.

Original, quality mid to late 19th century half-gallon ceramic ale measure jug. This unusual example has black lines on blue decoration on a very brown crazed base cream colour. This super example has a good pouring lip, a good strap handle and transfer printed to the front "1/2 Gallon". Apart from the brown crazing overall, this jug does have an old three inch hairline crack from the top to one side, otherwise all is complete.

Original, quality pair of 19th century extending brass candle holders with brackets, originally from a floor standing cheval mirror. These most unusual examples would grace any mirror and have bud forms for the candles, petal shaped drip pans, three-fold arms, each with two countersunk screw holes for mounting and the underside is impressed "S&P" for the maker. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's advertising chair issued for shop customers use. This exciting example has an enamel sign, detailing "Watsons Matchless Cleanser is the best soap for all purposes", fitted in the back. This sign is in near mint condition and is detailed to the bottom for the maker of the sign "Falkirk Iron Co" of "Scotland". The chair is in good condition and very study after several repairs namely an old split to the seat, now good and the legs were short, now sorted. The chair is in the original finish and colour and is impressed to the back of the seat board for the maker "F. East Dundee". These chairs are not easy to find these days and this example is now a good clean example and complete and in good order.

Original, quality 1920's, novelty shaped brass hat pin stand in the form of a mini umbrella stand. This super clean example has four stems above the plinth with a sliding drawer beneath and a brass grill to the top. The padded faded velvet cushion to the base for the points of the hat pins is the original and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Probably continental and the first we have seen.

Original, quality run of five matching late 19th century brass intercom bells with brass mounts, steel springs and central brass bosses. Often now referred to as 'Downton Abbey' bells. Can be pulled from either left or right and for use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. The mounting plates, rear springs and central bosses are replacements, copied from an original, made to suit. The ironwork has been cleaned and repainted black, and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order. Other similar bells may be available on request.

Drop approx 10.5" to 12".

Original, quality pair of unusual very slim binoculars in the original all leather two piece carry case with shoulder strap. This example has a silver or nickel shield shaped plaque to the lid of the carry case engraved "Presented to Mast. W. Powell by the Okehampton Show Committee in appreciation of his work and interest taken in the show 1902". All is in good order although the leather is a little tired but complete and in good order otherwise.

The cane has been cut down the middle, mounted on two brass wall hanging mounts and fitted with four larger upper brass hooks for hats and four smaller lower ones for coats. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the wood cleaned and wax polished and all is complete and in good and working order.

This super example has cast pink brass ring handles to each end, a strap handle to the lid, good tinning to the lift out tray and interior and the manufacturer logo of a buckled bolt with "Benham & Sons Wigmore St. London". This example is faultless and complete and in good and working order. one of the best we have seen.

Original, quality late 17th century cast brass Crotal or Rumbler bell impressed '10' for the size to the reverse next to the belt loop and "E.S" to the front, above and below the slot, this bell also has the petal decoration the same as Robert Wells bells from Aldbourne. This bell founder, Edward Sellers of York, established his foundry in 1662 at Jubbergate. A super bell with good colour and tone and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality, circa 1900, circular cast iron pub table base with three legs and an undershelf. Each leg has a central figure of an angel and the three joining plates to the top section are embossed with 'Victory' within a shield form. These tables were manufactured to commemorate the end of the Boer War in 1902. This example is in the old red oxide paintwork awaiting a top to finish, otherwise complete and in good and working order.

The cow is missing one horn sadly but otherwise all is complete and in good order.

The backplate has two holes for mounting, the front of the bowl has ribs for striking the match and the reverse is stamped 'Nestor' for the manufacturer and "Made in England". Complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century cast brass door porter with a carrying loop to the top, acanthus leaf forms to the body and mounted on a cast iron plinth with a decorated border. The reverse is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son of Birmingham' and with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1862. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the cast iron has much of its original black paint. All is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century cast iron crimping machine with ribbed brass rollers, a turned fruitwood winding handle, two replacement heating rods made to suit and all mounted on an old oak plank. These were used for crimping the housemaid's collars and cuffs and similar. This example works amazingly well. All has been cleaned, the ironwork waxed and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality pair of late 19th century brass wall mounted "Jamb Hooks" to support a set of fire irons either side of the fireplace. This pair were by repute fashioned in the GWR workshop at Swindon in spare time using waste brass materials to hand. Jamb Hooks are difficult to find today and these are beauties. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century cast brass bullnose plane with the original steel blade and ebony wedge. The blade is stamped for the maker of the iron 'Thomas Ibbotson and Co", and the plane is stamped for two previous owners 'RG Scott' and 'A.J Fry', but no maker's details. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Body 3.5" x 1" x 2.25" tall including wedge.

Original, quality late 19th century, large Doulton jardiniere with a simulated snakeskin finish with floral decoration in pale blue and white enamel. The top rim and inner rim have pale blue bands to match. The underside is impressed "Doulton Slaters Patent" and "Doulton Lambeth". An impressive jardiniere one minuscule chip to the top rim and several sizeable chips to the base ring, otherwise complete and in good order.

Original, quality late 19th century large spoon shaped coppersmith made copper scoop with the original turned fruitwood handle. The first we have seen, most unusual and a wonderful object. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order.
