Original quality, 19th century, mahogany three piece pill machine with brass and steel mounts, used in the chemist shop to hand make pills. Would have been used against the edges of the workbench/tabletop. This example is one of the largest we have seen and will roll and cut 36 large size tablets at a time. A replacement slide-out tray to the end has been made, copied from an original, all has been cleaned and polished and is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality superb mounted fox mask on the original oak shield. This example was mounted by "Spicers of Leamington", the finest taxidermist of fox masks and similar. The condition is outstanding in every detail. The original oak backboard, in the standard Spicers shape, is impressed to the reverse "P. Spicer & Sons Taxidermist" and has an ivorine plaque to the front detailing "T.S. Woodman Cottage 15.12.36.". Complete and in good order.

Original, quality late 19th century three pieces cutlery set in the original leather roll. The roll is marked for the maker "Underwood Cutler 36 Haymarket London" as is the knife and the fork and spoon have silver plate marks for Walker Hall & Sons. The roll has a few tears to the leather, the tie strap is missing but otherwise is complete. The three pieces of cutlery are in fabulous condition with antler side covers and nickel mounts and all folding to fit into pockets in the leather roll. The knife blade is in steel and has a corkscrew fitted. Remember, these pieces of cutlery are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they dislike water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly. Complete and in good and working order.

Roll with cutlery in 5" x 2.5" x 2.5".

Original, quality late 19th century huge oval copper footbath / wine cooler / babies bath or ? I would like to think it's a super footbath or wine cooler, nevertheless, it has wonderful proportions, quality and condition with a deep foot rim to the base and good sized cast pink brass handles to the ends. This unusual item is of Benham & Froud quality but is not marked for a maker and is in superb condition with just some knocks and dents to the top rim, otherwise all is complete and in good order. Has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

Original, quality Ericsson No2200 oak cased 'G P O' Wall Telephone, fully restored and converted to work perfectly on a standard modern B.T telephone line. The model was introduced in around 1906 and originally did not have a dial. During the current restoration and conversion, this telephone has been completely disassembled and cleaned, some parts and the cords have been renewed, and an old dialling system has been fitted, and full details of the work carried out and replacement parts fitted is included as are pictures of before and after. This example has retained the original finish and transfers to the cabinet and the original bronzed finish to the bells, crank handle (now disconnected), and side hook for the telephone. All is complete and in good and working order, and a selection of other converted telephones are usually available.

Original, quality late 19th century cast iron basket shaped string ball holder. These were suspended above the shop counter with string inside and used for tying up parcels or packets of goods when sold. This super example has a catch and hinge to open the two cup halves for refilling with the ball of string: which would be pulled through a hole in the bottom. Cleaned and lacquered, with three good repairs and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality early 19th century small steel bone saw with a fine toothed blade and a checkered pressed cowhorn grip. This super example circa 1830's/1840's was part of the 'Richard Merry' set Ref code: M156 and probably manufactured by H. Wright 32 London Rd London 1832 to 1843 at this address. Good clean steel but some minor rodent gnawing at the horn grip otherwise complete and in good order.

This very clean and bright mount is typical of all Hutchins work with three panels glazed, black painted case with gilt slips, paper mache rockwork and no taxidermist's label, all original with just some retaping to the reverse. An immaculate display quite the best we have seen.

Original, quality pair of unused 1930's square cast iron saucepans with tubular wrought iron tapered handles, the original paintwork, the original paper labels and the original tin lids, both with brass makers plaques embossed "Siddons", each lid is also impressed "2½ pts" and "5pts" for each saucepan's capacity. The interiors have retained the original tinning and all is complete and in good order. A great looking pair of seriously unused and unusual cast iron saucepans. Complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century all brass mantel rail for mounting beneath the mantel shelf around the kitchen range or open fireplace. The brackets have a threaded bolt for securing to the mantel shelf plus the option of three countersunk screw holes to each for mounting. These rails were used to hang up cooking utensils when not in use but were close to hand. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. Several other similar examples may well be available.

Original, quality late 19th century barrel shaped match holder which splits in two for filling with matches. The underside is embossed with a circular striking area surrounded by "Safety Barrel for Patent Vesta Lights" and the top has a small finial with a hole to stand a lit vesta light in to use as a 'candle like' lamp referred to as a "go to bed". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality 1920's / 30's huge wide steel shovel, with a short ash shaft and a steel 'D' handle with an ash grip. This super shovel has very little signs of use if any and was probably used for coke or other light weight goods. The shovel head is stamped "A and E Parkes and Co Ltd Banthdormen Street Birmingham" for the manufacturer and "all steel, wheel brand" and "made in England". Cleaned, waxed and complete and in good and working order. In unbelievable condition.

Original, quality Gecophone Crystal Detector Set No 1 in the original very clean mahogany cabinet. A very clean sheet detailing the "Instructions for Working" is fitted to the inner lid, there is also a bakelite plate detailing "BC1002 Inst No 21466" and the transfers to the front detail Gecophone with a registration number for the year 1884 and "Approved by Post Master General BBC". Appears complete and in super condition.

Original quality 1920's brass paraffin blowtorch with a soldering / brazing iron attachment. This super looking blowlamp has a ribbed brass cylindrical grip / reservoir, a folding wrought iron stand and a removable heat / flame guard. The brass is embossed in several places "Made in Sweden" and all has been cleaned or polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, appears complete but we have not tried to fire it up. One of the more unusual blowlamps and a great looker.

Complete and in good and working order.

This superb pair of moulds each have tapered and seamed bodies with embossed decoration and the top sections have eight decorative shaped tips. Each mould is stamped 'HL and Co' for the manufacturer, possibly 'Henry Loveridge', and 'OL35C' and 287 for the model number. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality Second World War brass handbell issued to Air Raid Personel to warn of oncoming air raids. This clean example is stamped "A.R.P" for "Air Raid Precautions" "1939" and "G & J" for the maker and has the original turned oak handle and cast iron clapper on a chain. All is complete and in good and working order with a good loud tone and resonance.

Original, quality 1920's / 30's enamelled gas iron with a cast iron sole chrome plated and a black finished turned wooden handgrip. The enamel body cover is in pale blue and all is in superb condition. The manufacturer's plates beneath the handle details "GLC" for the "Gas Light & Coke Comp" and A Kenrick & Sons Ltd. All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good order.

Original, quality late 19th century grocer's counter scale on the original mahogany base. This super example is all brass with the horizontal brass beam mounted on a tubular column with a cast brass circular pan for the weights and a circular dish for the goods. A stack of eight brass weights is included and from 4lb down to ¼ ounce and the scale beam and the column are both stamped for the manufacturer "Parnall & Sons of Bristol". Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality, 1950s amazing pair of pictorial enamel signs in the original wrought iron wall mounted bracket which includes a second pair of smaller oval enamel signs. This exciting find is all original and in superb condition. The frame for the pictorial sign is finished in black paint on brass which will not rust and damage the enamel sign. The pictorial signs both portray the same coloured illustration of a newsboy with his basket and newspapers. One is in mint condition and the other has a few minor chips to the edges. The oval enamel signs both detail "WHS" in the corporate logo for WH Smith and both are in mint condition. The blacksmith made wrought iron bracket has been painted black many times over the years and perhaps could do with stripping back. All is very original and complete and in good and working order. Another illuminated WH Smith hanging sign with similar bracket may well be available.

Original, quality late 19th century huge white ceramic storage jar with bands embossed to the body and a flared top. Sadly this super jar of an unusual size is rather damaged and is missing the lid but being of this size and transfer printed "Har. Beans" it will match others out there. The damage is:- two glued in sections to the top flared rim, a small chip to the inner rim, two glazing hairline cracks to the base and several chips to the base rim. Otherwise a great looker and very usable storage jar.

Original, quality late 19th century large 'Village Green' sized cast iron water pump with a bucket stop to the top of the spout, a makers plate embossed "S. Owens & Co Engineers London" and a super shaped pumping arm. This example has been fitted with a replacement pin to the arm and an old cast iron finial to the cap. The original inner rod with valve is included as is the original below ground mount for the pump. All is now complete and in super condition.

Original, quality late 19th century larger than average brass call / alarm bell with a heavy spring and brass mounting brackets. For use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system. Can be pulled from either left or right and other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. The circular mounting plate has been made to suit copied from an original. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the ironwork repainted black. This bell has the war dept broad arrow embossed to one side to the exterior and all is complete and in good and working order with a good loud ring.

Replacement rear springs and washers have been fitted. Most unusual to find the "servants" example. Complete and in good and working order.

30 pcs, of original, quality, matching flow-blue late 19th century ceramic dinner service, manufactured by J.H.Wetherby and Sons of Hanley, Staffordshire potteries. The manufacturer's mark on the reverse of most pieces details the pattern as "Belmont" and the mark is for 1892. All in good order.

This part set consists of 10 × 10" dinner plates.

7 x 9" dessert plates,.

3 x Oval platters.

6 x 7.75" plates.

One oval sauce tureen and stand (lid missing).

Original, quality late 19th century ceramic toilet jug originally part of an ewer and basin set. This super example is in the form of a stylised seashell with a handle over the top and the crests of waves to the plinth. The handle to the top has simulated binding, and the whole jug is transfer decorated with yellow 'dog' roses with a bright yellow colour overall. The underside is transfer printed for "Bros trademark Stoke on Trent Staffordshire" and embossed with the registration number for the year 1899. All is complete and in good order, with not a chip or blemish in sight.

Original, quality mid to late 19th century bellied shaped two tone glazed stoneware flagon with a strap handle to the rear and impressed to the shoulders for the supplier of the original contents "Milligan Toms & Matthews, Spirit Merchants Hungerford" This is the first we have seen with this name and for the manufacturer of the flagon "Powell Potter Bristol". All is complete and in good order and with a super 'runny' glaze.

Original, quality 1920's larger continental copper sponge mould of a three tier form with a deep base plinth. The plinth is impressed for the manufacturer "Trottier Paris". The tinning to the interior is in excellent condition and all is complete and in superb condition with no dents or damage. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.
