Original, quality pair of tall 'Trench Art' punch decorated brass shell cases. This superb pair are deeply embossed overall with a hunting scene in the forest with birds in the trees, a large stag, a dog at its heels and a hunter aiming his gun at the stag. Full of detail with a band of acorns and oak leaves above and beneath. The undersides are stamped "Patronn Fabrik" and one has "1917" and the other "1918". Complete and in good order.

Original, quality, late 19th century, pitch pine two door cabinet, with a fully fitted interior with pigeonholes. This super cabinet has fielded panels to the door, a good plinth and top in pitch pine with the interior fitted in softer pine. All is generally clean inside and out with a lock and key to the doors. Probably originally used as an estate cupboard or in a post room or office, nevertheless a very useful cabinet.

Original, quality 1920's brass electric desk lamp with a heavy cast brass octagonal shaped base with a decorative Art Deco design in relief. The shaped stem supporting the trough shade has a knuckle / swivel to the base which permits movement of the arm up, down and side to side. Has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex, a new brass UK bulb holder, in-line switch and a three pin plug. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order. A most unusual example.

This super example with handles to each end has a paper label to the underside detailing "Shott & Son Manufacturers Blackwood Souvenirs 60 George Street Launceston Tasmania" and on the tray top a small chromed plated plaque in the shape of Tasmania (the island) and detailed "TASMANIA". A super find in super condition and complete.

Matching pair of original, quality, brass coal vases complete with the original steel lift out liners. This superb pair of coal tubs have vase shaped bodies on three legs, two side ring handles, a cluster finial to the domed lid, a registration number to the underside of the lid for the year 1902 and the maker's mark to the underside of the vase for "Henry Loveridge and Co of Birmingham". The steel liners are a work of art on their own, by far the best we have seen and each with a pair of side ring lifting handles. These vases are in superb condition with only very very minor dents if any, consistent with very little use. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the liners cleaned and repainted black. All is complete and in good and working order. Price is for the pair.

Original, quality late 19th century pierced and engraved brass fender of a good size. This super example has a pierced and engraved decoration of leaves and berries or stylised acorns with cast brass mounts in the form of a Tudor Rose. The steel floor has been cleaned and repainted black and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Some old alterations have been made to the floor and the feet to the back edge are replacements but all is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality 1920's two piece cast iron Cobblers' revolving nail cup, as used on the workbench for easy access to a range of sizes of nails and tacks when repairing shoes. This example is embossed "AJK Nail Cup" to the base. 'AJK' is for A Kenrick & Sons the iron founder from West Bromwich. These nail cups are also ideal for a desk tidy for paper clips and elastic bands etc. or for peanuts and crisps and similar. Cleaned and lacquered and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century superb cast brass hat and coat hook of good heavy proportions with four screw holes for mounting. Both the hat peg and the lower coat hook are decorated in an "Egyptian" type detail, almost hieroglyphics and the reverse of the backplate is stamped "JC&S" for the manufacturer. The first we have seen of this model. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality, superb, 19th century, much larger than average cast brass hat and coat hook, with a rope twist stem, a decorative cast brass backplate with four countersunk screw holes for mounting and the most wonderful spherical shaped cut amber coloured glass finials and the backplate has a design of acanthus leaves. One hook has a super top finial larger than the one below and one hook has finials of the same larger size. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good order. One of the best examples of hat and coat hooks we have had to date.

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's embossed brass cylindrical string holder with a decorated lid with a hole to centre for the string and the original pair of scissors in a holder to the side. Original, quality early 19th century burnished steel fender with brass mounts and removable fire iron stands to each end. This superb example has a wrought iron floor which as been cleaned and repainted black, a brass top and bottom trim to the front and sides and cast brass feet of acanthus leaf forms. The removable poker/fire iron rests are in burnished steel and are the original matching pair. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A serious Georgian fender. In superb condition all original and complete and in good and working order. External 51" x 12" front to back.

Original, quality circa 1900, large continental vaseline glass gas lamp shade. This shade has been fitted with a replacement, lacquered brass shade holder to fit a standard, modern, UK electric bulb holder. Has been wired with modern three core flex and a new brass UK bulb holder with a length of new brass chain and a new brass ceiling rose included. This super example in the 'maid's bonnet' form has a good vaseline colour to the centre flowing into a solid yellow-green 2" band at the outside wavy rim with eight points. A most unusual size for this model. Complete and in good and working order.

This example mounted by Spicers of Leamington the finest Taxidermist of Fox Masks and similar, is a most unusual pose with the ears down in submission. The condition of this mount is outstanding in every detail quite the best we have seen. The original oak backboard in the standard Spicers shape is impressed to the reverse "P.Spicer & Sons Taxidermists Leamington" and also '3210' for Spicers catalogue number.

Original, quality chrome plated "Spirit of Ecstasy" Rolls Royce Car Mascot mounted on a turned and ebonised wooden trophy plinth. This super example is signed to the base "Charles Sykes" for the designer and "Rolls Royce" and stamped under one wing "Trade Mark RE01". This model was originally the size fitted to 1911 to 1914 Silver Ghosts and is the largest of the Rolls Royce Mascots. All is complete and in good order.

Original, quality late 19th century white ceramic toilet pan in superb very usable condition. This example is transfer printed to the inside " The Excelsior Wash down Pedestal " and with the registration number for the year 1898.The base plinth and the top beneath the rim are both decorated, with a band of deep relief ' egg and dart ' pattern.There are some chips to one of the four screw holes to the base mounting flange, all is in superb order otherwise, complete and perfect for plumbing in if required.This example has no other chips, cracks or stains in fact has seen very little use, indeed if any. If you are feeling flush, this is the one for you.

All is in the original finish and appears to have had very little use. Complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality near mint condition diary and desk blotter issued in 1928 by 'Crawford Biscuits'. This super example has red leather look covers dated 1928 and opens to eventually the desk blotter with sheets of blotting paper still unused. The left hand side has a calendar for both 1928 and 1929 and has many pages in colour, illustrating the full range of biscuits of the time and the right hand side, the history of Crawfords, Postal guide of the time, other pages of useful information, pages for notes and a diary with seven days to a page. A super item in amazing condition.

Original, quality, late 19th century, small fireproof safe in the original paintwork on the original wooden cupboard base unit made to suit. This super example manufactured by "Hobbs Hart and Co Ltd" has a plum coloured velvet lined interior to the safe with a lift out shelf and a locking drawer. The base cupboard unit has a scrumbled painted door inside and out. The safe is bolted to the cupboard but can be separated and the two long screws to fix the cupboard to the floor are also included. The brass handle to the inner drawer and the keyhole cover to the door are both embossed for the manufacturer "Hobbs Hart and Co Ltd London". The exterior original paintwork to the safe is generally very clean and in good order, but there are a few spots of paint missing from the front of the door and considerable blemishes to the top. All has been fully overhauled and all is complete and in good and working order otherwise, with two keys for the door and two keys for the drawer. A most unusual safe on stand.

Original, quality late 19th century set of eight matching amber coloured moulded glass chest of drawer knobs. These examples were often used on typical Welsh dressers, chest of drawers and Lancashire sideboards. Each knob has a six sided form and a tapered threaded stem for twist fitting into the correct sized hole. Some very minor scuffs and a tiny chip or two, otherwise complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century cast iron book press on an original oak book press base. This press has been married with an old book press base. The press has the original paintwork with gilded decoration and brass mounts and the oak base has two drawers with old replacement knobs, and the standard square legs curving out towards the front and back. The lower drawer is an old replacement made to suit and all has been cleaned and the press lacquered and is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century clear glass freeblown chamberpot with an applied side handle and star cut decoration to the base. Most unusual to find a clear glass one. We have had jug and basins similar and I guess one had the choice of a matching chamberpot when originally purchasing a set, but where have they gone? This is a first for us and this one is very clean with no chips, cracks or blemishes and a very useful item.

Original, quality late 19th century walnut veneered inkstand with a pair of original clear moulded glass inkwells with cut glass lids and brass hinged mounts. The stand has black outer edges and pen grooves, a pullout drawer to the front, a hooped brass carry handle to the top and an engraved brass presentation plaque detailing "Presented to D Williams by the Dalton-in-Furness Choral Society, For His Valuable Services as Conductor February 13th 1884. Some ink staining to the top and some wear to the corners, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order, standing on four bun feet with the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

A super clean set of book cabinets. Complete and in good order.

Original, quality late 19th century very decorative white enamelled, cast iron conservatory stove with a copper oil font and glass chimney operating just like oil lamps with paraffin. The red glass panels are replacements copied from the original as is the brass finial to the top lid, for the original was missing. The cast iron side handles in are in the original matt gilt finish. The pierced panels have fish decoration and match the side handles and the top cover will lift for use to keep a kettle warm. This example was manufactured by "Veritas" and has the registration number for the year 1893. The white enamel finish is original allbeit with a few minor chips. The copper font, the pair of original brass knobs to the doors and the top brass finial have all been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order. A superb example.

Original, quality late 19th century superb honey coloured oak wall mounted coatrack of a good shape with 4 cast brass hat and coat hooks. 4 single coat hooks and an oval shaped mirror within a beaded brass frame. The reverse of the backboard is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham'. The brass has been polished and lacquered although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the oval mirror is a replacement fitted. To mount to the wall remove 2 coat hooks, use the holes to screw to the wall and replace the coat hooks. Complete and in good working order.

Original, quality, late 19th century, superb oak cigarette casket with a lock and key and brass decorative mounts to the top of the hinged lid. The quality brass mounts are in the form of a horse shoe, a stirrup and a riding crop. The brass has been lacquered, the lock fully overhauled and all is now complete and in good and working order. A wonderful example with a removable central dividing panel.

Original, quality, late 19th century, aneroid desk barometer, with a frame and stand in brass fashioned as a horse shoe, a hunting horn, a riding crop and a pair of whipple trees. The loop shaped stand is hinged to fold flat for storage. The central barometer has a detailed enamelled dial and "Made in Paris". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. A most unusual desk barometer.

Original, quality, late 19th century, circular brass balance to weigh 112lb and calibrated in 1lbs. This most unusual example has a thick brass face mounted on a cast iron body, with a ring to the top for hanging and a swivel shackle beneath. The dial has an applied maker's plate detailing "H Pooley and Son Ltd", "Capacity 112lbs", "Class 3" and "Liverpool and Birmingham". The front also has a clear lead custom seal. The reverse also has an applied brass plaque detailing "Pooley and Son Liverpool" and "L&NW 3275", (L&NW' for 'London and North Western Railways). All has been cleaned and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order.
