The front is transfer printed "The Radio" and "Mence Smith" and the underside is detailed for the manufacturer "Lovatts Langley Ware England" and with the registration number for the year 1924. Doulton Stoneware Footwarmer FW108 Original, quality circa 1900, stoneware footwarmer / hot water bottle, decorated in black transfer text "Doulton's Improved Footwarmer, Lambeth Pottery London", to both sides and to the top front "Wm Dibben & Sons Ironmongers Southampton & Winchester". Saltglazed Stoneware Footwarmer FW103 Original, quality late 19th century saltglazed stoneware footwarmer of larger than average size. This very unusual example, the first we have seen, is in mint condition with the original screw in stopper to the top, a finial grip to each end and The "Prince of Wales Feather" decoration in relief to each finial and to the collar of the top stopper. These were filled with hot water to serve as bed or footwarmer.

Copper Warming Pan WP41 Original, quality, late 19th century, copper warming pan with the original ebonised turned wooden handle. These were originally used with hot coals inside to warm up the bed before use. This example has a punch engraved decoration to the lid, a lifting ring and is complete, although a little dented to the underside. The copper has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order.
